However, at the moment there are very few crypto-currencies that dpat outperforms bitcoin prices, but although there are some crypto-currencies that are more expensive than bitcoins, nevertheless, the crypto currency is even less popular in bitco-appeal.
No its not possible that bitcoin will be replaced by other crypto because bitcoin is now very stable in market and it have a very big support bitcoin by it self replaced a lot of crypto from market its users are increasing day by day which give more energy to it and in coming time bitcoin will go more strong and high if bitcoin become legal around the world so there is no doubt that it can be an international currency and will end world poverty. Surely it right bitcoin does have more than millions of investors right now, I cannot say that it will ever be replaced by any other currency ever. Not even in market demand it is not possible for another currency to beat bitcoin and replace it, it is hard for any currency to give anyone that much opportunities and best return for bitcoin replacement and giving another best currency today.

I doubt bitcoin will survive for a hundred years. Im pretty sure it won't and will be replaced by new and more advance coins. The coins we are seeing are the first generation coins. There will be a second generation for sure and so on.
Only time will tell what will happen with Bitcoin's future. One thing for sure, is that there are a lot of new cryptocurrencies out there with better technology and even vision than Bitcoin to provide a global payment system with extremely cheap fees. Since Bitcoin's fees are constantly increasing, it may decrease its share in the market while other altcoins take the lead. Also, if Bitcoin doesn't come up with a scaling solution soon, then another cryptocurrency may become king in the next years. Most recently, Bitcoin Cash has increased in traction with its 8mb block size making many Bitcoin users switch over to this alternative cryptocurrency. While I'm not in favor of big blocks (as it further centralizes the cryptocurrency), I believe that BCH may replace Bitcoin as digital money if the pioneer cryptocurrency doesn't do anything about addressing scalability issues soon. Nevertheless, perhaps we will see a future where Bitcoin will remain as king of crypto but only to become used as a store of value, while Bitcoin Cash may take the lead in cheap, peer to peer electronic payments. Just my opinion.

As the gap closes each year, I don't see why this is impossible. Bitcoin has reached its peak while some developing alt coins are advancing faster with lesser mistakes.

There's a lot of crypto that trends every year and some says that it'll replace bitcoin. Folks no one can replace the mother of all, it is at the top of food chain so meaning if btc will be gone for sure everything will follow. (some of you might contradict this but this is my insight about this). But none of us can predict what will happen in the future whether or not btc will be replaced.

Correct, bitcoin can't be replaced by any other altcoins. If bitcoin ends so does other altcoins in the market. Altcoins just depend on the BTC's price in the market.

Correct, bitcoin can't be replaced by any other altcoins. If bitcoin ends so does other altcoins in the market. Altcoins just depend on the BTC's price in the market. We cannot really say that, maybe for now it will depend but in the event bitcoin will disappear, there will be new coin that will take its place. The market is big and there are a lot of coins that are growing because they have real value also, but let's not hope it will reach to that situation, I want to see bitcoin and altcoins progress together.

Possibly yes. Lots of inventions, innovation and discoveries are yet to appear. May be new crytocurrency or something that could be form as a money in virtual world might be invent or discover one day, that is highly possible specially this time around. Also, getting bitcoin to be rotten is neither near nor far because bitcoin is not always and it will not be always here, bitcoin is decentralized so if people continuesly using and mining to earn bitcoin means bitcoin will exist and if they stop bitcoin might not never be exist or sort of getting obsolete.

There are many cryptocurrencies that have potential in the market but the way I see it, it's currently impossible to replace bitcoin on top. Other coins have a long way to go before they reach where bitcoin is now. Bitcoin is the foundation of all cryptocurrency, it will be hard for them to replace it unless many of its users will abandon bitcoin and switch to another coin.

all can happen because so far a lot of bitcoin competition with other crypto but will be in the distant future. and it's still too early to change the bitoin and its full potential has not been seen so far, we have to study it further to find out what's going to happen in the future, I will not be bored to use bitcoin as getting a better future.

in my opinion.it can be done but it will take a long time and also long effort.as bitcoin is most popular digital currency,it is not easy to overtake it and make a new currency as popular as bitcoin. but it is not impossible to replace bitcoin by another currency.

nothing will be impossible. maybe someday ethereum or dash will take over bitcoin who know. it just a matter of time waiting for bitcoin to collapse due to super high fees. im will not surprise if the issue cannot be solve by this blockchain of bitcoin.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Everything can be replaced and bitcoin is not exception to this rule the difference is that bitcoin is a lot more difficult to replace by its nature, no one wants to change their currency every other year the same way it happens with other technologies.

it is a common mis-conception that innovation/best tech will always win. whatever cryptocoin will win, it will (also) win because marketing measures will appeal to emotions of users, who feel COMFORTABLE and happy using it.

To believe (e.g. to be certain) something like that does not make rational sense. To say that is a statistic probability makes much more sense. However, this has been discussed over and over again. In order for the cryptocurrency space to thrive, it would be most suitable if there were multiple coins at the top and not just one (as currently Bitcoin is). Nobody can say that either one will happen for sure; they would only be speculating.
that's true, no one else can make sure Bitcoin will not be defeated by another CryptoCurrency, the price increase is still speculation, and as there is a group interest.

I do not see this happen but of course you do not have to say it will never happen because we cannot look in the future. I really doubt about the fact but I do not think that this will happen honestly. The bitcoin is simply already too big and it also has a good future a head.

yes it is possible even though it is very difficult. if there is a crypto that has the advantages of bitcoin can certainly be replaced. nothing is impossible.

possibly bro, ETH or Litecoin could be I think ETH has good chance, I don't know but that is my bet and that is why I am putting my money on ETH. Right now it's very undervalued, most of the altcoins are rising but ETH remain stable, and in that sense I think ETH is a good buy now.
