yes $1500 cash with psu online already the guy has two more. i might just take them also only problem is he wants cash ill decide tomorow [/quote] I've been watching them go on Ebay for 1000-1200 w/psu brand new. I would have paid $1500 a couple weeks ago, but they are dropping like flies. Or you can take Rifleman up on some of those coupons. I haven't bought from Bitmain yet, so I don't know what taxes and shipping equates too, or shipping time for that matter. Just some thoughts.

They still have value. I'm not saying one is going to build an empire of S7's. They served me well and got me started. I'm ready to increase my efficiency with bigger and better miners. Someone else may be in the same beginning point and look for S7's.....and I have some I am retiring while also trying to keep them on the pool. You are right that they won't be very much, especially if you knew what they cost at the time they were purchased.
I agree. If someone wants to get into Bitcoin but doesn't have a few grand just laying around, they have to start somewhere. I started with an Avalon6 (3.5THs @ $2/day in electric) when Bitcoin was 2x what it is now--paid a pretty penny for it too--and with the steady increase in difficulty coupled with the constant drop in Bitcoin prices, one could argue that I'm currently doing little more than laundering my electric bill payment for Bitcoin. Ok, I'll accept that, but I'll also ask what other legal investment that you'd recommend for me to spend that same USD on that will potentially double later this year when the price goes back up. I'll admit that in hindsight I could've went a cheaper route than to buy my friend's Avalon6 setup this January. On the other hand, I also paid my way out of some potentially demoralizing frustrations, which may have delayed and/or discouraged me from following through with this Bitcoin endeavor altogether. In fact, this would be the time to buy a less than top-tier miner at a low price and upgrade when you can sell it for more, or just get every last TH out of it while waiting for Bitcoin to go back up in value. So, with that I say... PREVIOUS GENERATION MINERS FOR EVERY NOOB (myself included)!!! and, of course... MINE ON WITH KANO!!! That reminds me, I do have some Avalon A6's for sale as well lol. Should plug right into your controller. PM me if interested, I feel they are pretty cheap.

I think right now I’d just buy btc instead of more miners. Unless difficulty dropped and we started hitting the block lottery.
I did both....Yes, I have a problem!!! Hahaha!!! Same here. Why not take advantage of both, right? It seems some are getting spooked again, my eyes are on the prize.

If you can get them for $16 then why don't you stock up?
They are power hogs relative to current tech. They still have value. I'm not saying one is going to build an empire of S7's. They served me well and got me started. S7's here, come get your S7's. Cooooome and get 'em folks; ripe, sweet and warm S7's now. PM me if interested. They are operating on Kano pool and it would be nice to keep it that way. PSU available.
Sorry to say, but don't expect to get much for those. With coupons, I could buy V9s (relabeled S7s by all accounts) for $16 each plus shipping. I'm fully aware of the market. Fact is, people are still looking and they are still selling. I'm not worried about the BTC price and neither are many miners looking to add more equipment for cheap. If you can get them for $16 then why don't you stock up?

Yeah, the S9 prices are dropping by the minute it seems. I'm looking forward to sweep some more of them up.

Nothing positive? That depends on how you are looking at it. For example, I just stocked up on all my cryptos

Sounds good, I'm here to stay. Starting to phase out the S7's for S9's slowly but surely.
so.....
If anyone is interested in some S7's I have a few various condition ones with some choice machines in excellent condition to some hashing on 2 out 3 boards and some running on a reduced frequency setting but mining consistent. Also have an S7-LN which is a more efficient version with only 2 boards but averaging 3.5 Th/s. Please PM me for details. They are listed on Ebay, but I will give an extra discount to Kano Pool members.
Mine on.....and uh, I believe it's about that time. As the late great Colonel Sanders once said, "I'm too drunk to taste this chicken."

Are we welcoming any sales of used miners? I've got a few S7's we're offloading on Ebay, but would offer them here for a discount from the Ebay price if anyone is interested.

Kano-san, eat and sleep well. Stay healthy, we still have much to learn.

Hi, I just joined on with 950TH/s. I have 5 miners down, but once online I’ll be just over 1PH/s. Hopefully it’ll be a good pool to be a part of WELCOME!!

Interested in hearing what may be considered fair pricing for an S7 with PSU

I am positively surprised that people keep adding miners since at these btc prices doing so is highly optimistic if not unrealistic. I am all for canaan, but they need to have a more up to date price for their product, however, I am not buying bitmain either. I would buy something if I had 4-5c/kwh. At around 9-10c, it is a losing proposition (for now).
I'm thinking I can still sell off a couple of S9's at profit and replace 'em with the 841 At profit eh? What are you thinking $ wise?

Oh well, maybe it'll find a block while it's here.

OOOOWEEE we're getting some hash power now.

Thank You Kano for the info! A BIG THANK YOU TO KANO FOR ALL YOU DO FOR ALL OF US!! .. MINE ON KANO!! [snip]
Sad to say I'm disappointed in humanity now knowing what happened. If I would've known this, I wouldn't have wasted the past 2 weeks pointing my 2nd (tiny) miner there--only ~150GHs worth--on a whim to watch it inch up the rankings. Now, I've almost hit a brick wall in the mid-400s and still need to break into the top 100 before I get a payout. The concept of a zero fee once a month block reward from a small pool sounded good since I knew that Kano and CK were associated. Any suggestions on just cutting my losses and pointing the tiny miner back here for a baby boost to my Kano payouts? Bring it back. I got you boo boo. Even though you couldn't get padrinogtr to explain his 5nd understanding, you put forth a valiant effort. I will still honor it until further notice, but would like to extend to you some hash from an trimmed down S7. She's pumping out about 2.8TH/s at the moment and I would like to let "borrow" it for a week or so. If interested, shoot me a worker name and its all yours.
