41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable on: February 09, 2018, 03:05:07 PM
The basis for crypto invests is tokens. And if in your project tokens are used unnecessarily then you will fairly be sent to seek investments elsewhere. If your tokens were conceived as a means of payment be sure to release them to the crypto exchange.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in crypto world on: February 09, 2018, 02:53:28 PM
It so happened that among the guys who are versed in the subject of all sorts of coins, blockchain and other newfangled cryptos in our world the males are an order of magnitude larger. It's understandable technicians we have mostly men.
Nevertheless, the girl discussing with her friends a next ICO for a cup of coffee, you meet perhaps not often.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: February 09, 2018, 10:52:54 AM
I heard that a Dutchman who sincerely believes that bitcoin is waiting for a great future.
He sold his house and all the things and the money he got was bought with a cryptocurrency. Now he is waiting for bitcoin to finally take over the world and he will get rich himself. haha
I say that he went crazy but apparently may be they love adventure and they're ready to take risks.
Without risk life would be boring.  Shocked Grin
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Beginners Guide to Bounty Campaigns on: February 08, 2018, 02:49:02 PM
Welcome to what I hope will be an informative and useful guide for beginners who are getting involved in ICO Bounty Campaigns.

First things first.  Make sure you have an account for AT LEAST each of the following:

1. Bitcointalk.org (this one is pretty obvious)
2. Telegram
3. Twitter
4. Facebook (I don't do FB campaigning - I keep this just for my personal life.)
5. Reddit
6. Medium
7. YouTube
8. Steemit
9. Discord
10. Slack (maybe)
11. Any other Blogging platform that is currently popular.
12. Feel free to join any of the dedicated Bounty websites that are popping up. eg. bountylord.com (bookmark it) | Amazix Bounties @ bounties.biz (subscribe)
13. Cryptocompare.com
14. twitteraudit.com (for your Twitter account)

Have a selection of crypto wallet addresses for receiving your bounties:

1. ETH (most useful) and the Wallet must be ERC-20 compatible
2. XEM (Desktop version, not mobile app - Mosiacs currently aren't visible on the mobile wallets)
3. WAVES

### DO NOT USE EXCHANGE ADDRESSES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ###

Create a document/note on your desktop with all the various usernames, profile links, public wallet addresses, etc.  You will be using this information repeatedly.

Next, create a Spreadsheet Workbook and make a Mastersheet that you will duplicate for each Bounty you join.  Suggested columns include:

1. Date
2. Telegram
3. Twitter
4. Facebook
5. Signature
6. Reddit
7. YouTube
8. Medium
9. Other
10. Other

Row 1 should have each of the above labels.

Row 2 should be kept available for cutting and pasting the specific bounty instructions for each task
- under the Date heading, I add links for the BCT Bounty page itself and sometime a link to the ANN Page, Website, Whitepaper, and bounty spreadsheet.

Row 3 should be used to record which tasks were joined and any comments about what you did.  eg. under YouTube - "Joined - upvoted all current videos."

Row 4 - leave blank.  Use this as a delineation row from the actual work records.

----------

Now, to start with, users new to this forum will be Newbie rank.  This severely limits what campaign activities you can participate in.  Most signature bounties require Jr. Member as a minimum, but if you look around, you may find a bounty campaign that does allow Newbies to participate - just don't expect to get much in the way of reward.  Use this time as an opportunity to start contributing to the forum discussions.

Don't just post crap and spam the forum with rubbish posts.  Posts for the signature campaigns should be on point to the subject being discussed and add value.  Take the time to give your opinion on the matter and extrapolate your ideas to give substance to your posts.

Remember, to get to the higher ranks, you now need Merit in addition to Activity, so make your posts as valuable as possible and hope that you get a bit of Merit for your input.  Without it, you won't get to the Ranks that earn the big bounty bucks.

----------

Some campaigns require you to be a Jr. Member to participate in other/all parts of the campaign.  READ THE RULES CAREFULLY & FULLY.  You don't want to be wasting your time doing activities on a campaign you don't actually qualify for.

Be aware that some ICOs are now requiring KYC.  Are you comfortable with doing KYC?  If not, don't take part in those bounties.

----------

Become familiar with the interfaces for the various chat platforms - Telegram & Discord.  Understand how to reply, how to send a PM, and be aware that many ICO channels prohibit discussion of Bounties.  There may be a separate Bounty channel, or you may need to PM an admin to discuss bounty-related matters.  (The General Rules of the campaign should explain how/who you contact for bounty questions.  Sometime, there's a form you need to fill in; other times you need to post in the Bounty topic or PM the Bounty Manager in the Forum)

When you enter a room in Telegram or Discord, take the time to read the Pinned Message (Telegram) and check the Announcement channel (Discord), if they exist for the room you're in.  Read back up the chat for a bit to see what has been discussed.  Quite often, if you have a question, it may have already been answered recently or be included in the pinned message / announcement.  Taking a couple of minutes to read recent chat will make the admins work much easier - there's not much more annoying than answering the same question multiple times every minute or so.

----------

Okay, let's assume you've found a campaign you want to join.  What should you do next?  REREAD THE RULES CAREFULLY & FULLY.  Make sure you understand what tasks are required of you to be eligible for rewards.  Understand how long the campaign is scheduled for?  Be aware the schedule can change.  If they hit Hard Cap early, the campaign will likely be finished early.  If sales are slow, there's a chance the campaign may be extended.

Return to the campaign page at least twice a week to see if there's been any changes/updates to the campaign rules/timeline.

Be certain you know what reporting procedures are in place, if any. If in doubt, clarify uncertain points with the Bounty Manager.

----------

The first thing I do when I start a new bounty is label the spreadsheet with the name of the ICO, the weekly reporting date, and the campaign end date. eg. "AstorGame R-Sun Fin 14/3"  Now I can easily see that I need to do the weekly reports on Sundays and the campaign his due to finish on 14 March.  Use whatever format you're comfortable with.  People in the US will no doubt use the 3/14 format for Month - Day, whereas we Aussies use the old British format.

For each part of the bounty you signup to, copy and paste that section of the rules into Row 2 of your spreadsheet under the relevant column.  Now you have all the pertinent information on hand, which will make following the rules easier.  Be sure to add links to the Twitter account / YouTube Channel / etc on your spreadsheet as well.

If, for example, the Twitter campaign you've signed up to requires 2 Tweets and 10 Retweets per week, go ahead and lay out the numbers you need for the coming week.  If there's a max of 2 RT per day, then add dates spaced 2 rows apart so you can easily see what is needed each day.

Be aware that over-posting is just as bad as under-posting for some bounties and may disqualify you from receive a reward.

----------

If there's a Whitepaper available for the ICO, read it. Read it again.  Use the salient points in the Whitepaper for crafting your Twitter/FB posts, or for asking leading question in the Telegram channel (on those occasions that activity is a requirement of the bounty).

Take screenshots of graphics from the ICO website and White paper and add these to your posts.

If there's a YouTube video - share it.

Make sure you include any required hashtags and links when making posts.

Create interesting ways of wording your posts:  Pose questions | Highlight benefits | Make comparisons to other lesser Token in the same genre

----------

Be sure to check the bounty spreadsheets regularly - mistakes get made, so be sure you've been credited for the work you've performed.

----------

At the end of the bounty, don't pester the bounty manager or devs with questions like "Where are my coins?"

It takes time to ratify the spreadsheets, and even then, bounties aren't normally paid out before the ICO distribution.  The rules will normally say when the bounties are due to be paid.  Accept that they know what they're doing, but if no details on bounty distribution is mentioned anywhere at all, feel free to ask.

----------

You can also use the spreadsheet to keep track of any Airdrops you participate in.

----------

Well, that's about all I can think of for now.  I hope this info proves useful to you.  Happy Bounty Hunting!!

# Merit is always welcomed #

If I had a merit, I would have given it to you. But in any case, you have done a great job, this guide will very much help newbies in the crypto world and they come every day.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: February 08, 2018, 02:44:07 PM
While the whole world is just starting to install Telegram, there's already a trade inside the messenger itself, as on the market on Sunday.
Only this market has to go so far with closed eyes to the touch (I hope, soon will enter a suitable search) but still find good ico projects.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: February 08, 2018, 02:22:41 PM
Surprisingly, many refer to the creation of the WP without due seriousness. They create some sort of formal deed document, in which there is no specifics-only general phrases about what a great currency it is and how it will defeat all the rest.
If you don't have time to master 10 pages of important information, try one pager with the maximum squeeze of wp.
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction: Bitcoin will hit 100K on: February 08, 2018, 10:57:55 AM
Hey guys I want your opinion on this prediction. Seems legit to me. Bitcoin is always growing in the long term.
Why not hit even this year 50K.
Here is the link https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/915882/bitcoin-price-prediction-cryptocurrency-bull-run-latest-stock-market-sell-off

Until the end of 2018 is still far away, the year has just begun. It's possible that after the market subsided we are waiting for a sharp rise, but hardly $50K, about $100K in general strongly doubt. My forecast is maximum $40K in the spring even.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: restaurant in bali closed on: February 08, 2018, 10:38:46 AM
Law is the law, it must be carried out. The Central Bank of Indonesia issued a press release in which bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can not be considered a legitimate means of payment in the country! As a result, the Bank of Indonesia in conjunction with law enforcement agencies has begun inspecting companies that used bitcoin transactions rather than rupees.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin finally hit 20K on: February 08, 2018, 10:27:58 AM
In 2017, the market of bitcoins was led by inconspicuous consumers and random investors. Virtually no institutional money was invested in it. In 2018, experts, including Novogratz himself, Vice President of Bitfury George Kikvadze and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, are expecting a multi-billion dollar investment in bitcoin, which will push the market price to a trillion dollars.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does certain people called Bitcoin as bubble investment? on: February 08, 2018, 10:21:02 AM
A bubble is when the price of an asset doesn't depend on its "main factors"  investors value the asset to determine its value.
It can be money that is transformed from stocks in the future, the company's cash flow, the state of the country's economy or even the rent for the property.
But bitcoin doesn't calculate profits (from shares) or rent (from real estate) and is not tied to the national economy. This is one of the reasons why it is difficult to say about its value.

52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: February 05, 2018, 03:08:43 PM
I think so. Companies are beginning to abandon Bitcoin, as it doesn't justify hopes as a universal and stable payment tool.
In reality, we were convinced that Bitcoin became less useful for payments. The transaction time has greatly increased which led to an increase in refusals from operations with cryptocurrency.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we all please accept.. on: February 05, 2018, 02:58:46 PM
Some governments have long felt that completely digital assets could be fatal to themselves.
In this situation states take all measures to reduce their risks: the sites are equated to financial organizations with all the ensuing consequences for customer identification, anonymous payments are prohibited.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: February 05, 2018, 02:54:33 PM
In fact, in technical industries men dominate who are familiar with gadgets from a young age. Of the total number of computer students only 16% of women.
In order to encourage women to use and believe cryptocurrency you just need to establish aesthetic characteristics convenience for users. It's also important to simply raise awareness of the female half about Bitcoin about what benefits can be from the cryptocurrency.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: February 05, 2018, 02:30:59 PM
I heard the version that Satoshi Nakamoto may be a Russian or Chinese agent, and bitcoin himself threatens the global financial system. The knowledge of Satoshi's personality was to help establish his motives. Roll Eyes

How much can you create the same threads?
We have repeatedly discussed this. It's very nice that Facebook is trying to protect us from unnecessary earnings, thank you for their attention.
In fact, Zuckerberg just wants to protect his billions in fiat.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your opinion about the fall of bitcoin on: February 05, 2018, 02:22:05 PM
If Bitcoin prices fall below the second support zone located at $2700-3200 this will mean not only the collapse of the "bubble" but in general the entire cryptocurrency market.
The main cryptocurrency will completely depreciate and the market capitalization will fall below $ 100 billion.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nakamoto - Hiding from his flaws on: February 05, 2018, 02:18:45 PM
What if Satoshi Nakamoto " The creator of Bitcoin " is actually not dead but hiding. What if he knew that these scaling issues are going to come in the future and there are actual flaws in his own system. But he didn't wanted his hardwork to go in vain and so he let the system run on it's own. What if he knew all of this and this is why he is hiding away from the world.
What do you guys think ? Did he wanted to test whether the world could find a solution to this ?

Why would he do that. If he really knew how to fix everything, do you think he would just look from the outside as we will manage it ourselves?
It's silly how to have a cure for cancer, but wait until we find it. Is not it?
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia just made all crypto legit on: February 05, 2018, 02:13:35 PM
Russian central bank just legalized all cryptocurrencies. They will even make several citiea offshore zones where minnimg will be tax free

I consider this just to hype crypto if it is not backed by an official statement, post the link where you get that report and just don't rely on a buzz, we need reliable news so the price can get back to the right track.

https://news.bitcoin.com/bank-of-russia-allows-crypto-mining-proposes-miners-sell-their-coins-overseas/?utm_source=OneSignal+Push&utm_medium=notification&utm_campaign=Push+Notifications

According your link the news is that Russia is considering a proposal to allow mining, but to impose taxes on it.
No mention of the legalization of all cryptocurrencies and the confirmation of the adoption of such a bill, all the more!
Regular Hype!!
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta Scam on: February 01, 2018, 05:04:02 PM
EtherDelta is a decentralized exchange intended for trade in crypto currency, which was issued on the basis of Ethereum blockchain. The system carries out operations on the purchase and sale of cryptocurrency since the summer of 2017. Its distinctive feature is a high protection against hacking ensured by decentralization!! What scam?
