41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you need to know before investing in crypto on: June 04, 2018, 11:44:42 AM
Better to be careful than not because once the money lost it will be lost forever it will not return forever. It was a good warn to have some idea about what everyone wants to enter like crypto. Better to have some advices from others than nothing.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: May 31, 2018, 08:12:31 AM
Thanks for the links. Anyway I wound not sell all my alts maybe some in order to avail a little amount of bitcoin. It is good to have bitcoin while I also have altcoins. Both are very profitable if it goes up.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: May 31, 2018, 08:08:36 AM
It is depends on what price you bought your bitcoin and what price you want to sell your bitcoin. The profit is depends on the market flows.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: May 31, 2018, 08:01:53 AM
Although this thread was created long ago I still would like to drop by my opinion. Actually this thread is appropriate for every moment that bitcoin goes down. Yes good to buy bitcoin when it goes down because the price decreases and maybe in another day bitcoin will goes up again rapidly. So better grab to buy while it is on red color.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: May 30, 2018, 10:13:48 AM
Actually bitcoin is accepted in other country as currency but not a national currency. But there are more who make bitcoin as investment than to make a currency because they know that one day it will become more expensive. So better hold than use bitcoin.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: May 30, 2018, 10:08:48 AM
The nation's have different area and sovereignty that's why the legalization of bitcoin is big issue. That's the truth and reasons why the countries all over the world did not become accepted but in some part it is very welcome. Maybe few years from now bitcoin will become welcome more acceptable.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: May 28, 2018, 05:13:16 PM
I decided to quit ICO's. From December till now I invested about 5 eth into several ICO's. Invest what you can miss, this is what was able to miss.

Right now the first few of my ICO's have reached the exchanges. Most are under performing, but this is related to the overall dip (can be read everywhere). I understand, but ICO token economics have changed also.

  • massive hardcaps
  • most is sold in pre-sale to big investors, leaving scraps for crowdsale
  • much attention to marketing, less to working product or realistic time lines
  • immediately available on EtherDelta and IDEX, sure sign of little interest in token economics/future
  • no lock on pre-sale tokens, whales take their x2, x3 or x-whatever as soon as possible (I would probably have done the same). Prices drop to below ICO price.
  • too many ICO's without distinctive differences.
  • too many ICO's in general
  • too much tokens reserved for team/marketing
  • many ICO's don't even have a crowdsale anymore (which perhaps is a good thing as the little investors are protected this way)
  • ICO prizes are quite high. 1eth = 1000/4000 tokens is pretty common, but with a hc of 40 million, this will not easily go x10 or more.

I was 'unlucky' to miss out on a few ICO's besides the ones I was able to participate in. Afterwards I am glad, since I was able to pick most up at a fraction of the ICO price.

Important as ever: DYOR as not all ICO's have a genuine solution to a genuine problem. Some may seem like a fantastic solution, but often it is marketing combined with a strong team, and not so much a great working product.

And who am I? I am definitely a nobody Tongue, but still wanted to share my experiences and perhaps save people from thinking of getting on board of the next x100 ICO Smiley

p.s. when a Telegram has over 20k subscribers all screaming 'when lambo' with endless rows of animated gifs, you may also wonder if this is a serious block chain solution which will revolutionize 'x' Smiley

thanks for the great insights that you shared. Very interesting. It is very important to remember that we deal into the risky world. There should have a product in it to have value because some ico does not have product.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Disable person on: May 28, 2018, 05:07:11 PM
I agree with that but the problem we didn't control the future. I mean there are person with disable that bounds by the help mindset just rely your needs to the government. It will be so hard to catch them and teach to our new currency. I know it would really help the disable person by bitcoin in terms of dedication of the person who will teach them. Another achievement if they will all become able to earn money by their own capabilities.
49  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people think everyone is a scam? on: May 28, 2018, 04:00:10 AM
I think it is just a part of being aware in crypto system that there are a lot of scams in this place. We can't blame the people for it is partly but not totally right because not everything or everyone is scammers. Maybe its a matter of injecting mindset and form it a beliefs.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins hold to moon 1 year? on: May 26, 2018, 07:16:27 AM
I think one year is not enough to hold your coin specially if you invested in ethereum and neo. Both coin is good to hold for a short term and also for long term. I think it is also depends on what your choice coin in crypto to hold. Study carefully for your future coin investment maybe it will bring you to unexpected success.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a good idea? on: May 26, 2018, 06:51:38 AM
Yes. There are things that we should prevent because prevention is better than cure. Now bitcoin price is good time to buy. There is potential that you can gain more enough by investing in it. Let us assume that it will rise soon then you are one who grab the opportunity then you are with bitcoin investor who become successful.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: May 26, 2018, 04:47:13 AM
My opinion it is because eth seems overtaking bitcoin since bitcoin value won't go above 10k in months past. Also eth have the ability to take over bitcoin once bitcoin won't step up from stagnant situation. In addition eth is more affordable than bitcoin.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: April 26, 2018, 03:05:20 PM
It is not easy to handle when experiencing that kind of situation. It is okay for awhile. You can get sometime your loses.
It is important to learn from your experience. The most important now is to regain your strength and go back again in the track. Good luck my friend.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple Future on: April 26, 2018, 03:00:31 PM
Ripple will probably punch the moon it is actually slowly but surely process. So it requires to wait some time on its time to increase exceedingly.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest to Ripple? on: April 26, 2018, 02:41:21 PM
I think ripple is not that kind of shit coin. You know if this is shit coin then it shouldn't exist anymore because ofcourse people will know about it if that is true. Why not try to invest in ripple and see to yourself if what will be the result in the future. I think someday it will increase more than 1$.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins to buy? on: April 26, 2018, 02:35:29 PM
Pearl, oax, neo, and ethereum. Take a look on this coins and try to read the whitepaper paper and members of this project. Maybe you like it.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: April 26, 2018, 02:20:21 PM
Personally if I will be one of the lucky guy in this place by receiving big numbers of bright potential coin in the future and have a large value price in the market. I will hold some and exchange the 1/4 to buy land to prepare a good future with a practical mindset. Farm good vegetables and build a house in the center. Simple but rock.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion on token airdrops? on: April 26, 2018, 02:11:57 PM
Airdrops is a way to invite and possibly attract some investors for they are the number one needed to survive the project in crypto. Somehow the success of the projects depends on the success and how good the way of dev management. If the dev is so active to response on whatsoever the matters then they get some trust of the supporters and that will be the time to support the project first in airdrops.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year of altcoins or down again? on: April 24, 2018, 05:47:09 PM
The decreased is now quiet. Increase situation in the market is what we can observe for now. I think the increase is starting to clean up the loses of those who loss huge amount. I hope that if btc will crash again it will not be like what happened last last month. Good luck my friend.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin for investing (begginers) on: April 24, 2018, 05:40:39 PM
Divide your money on what do you want to invest to be sure your not putting everything in just one coin that not bitcoin or ethereum. However if you choose bitcoin and ethereum then you can put everything without double minded if possible for these two coins are proven already.
