41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Free BTC Help Poor? on: October 10, 2013, 03:53:21 PM
I still don't believe in free and easy money. Even if it exists, it won't last long.

Anyway this thread actually reminds me of this article -> Homeless, Unemployed, and Surviving on Bitcoins

43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block chain size/storage and slow downloads for new users on: September 21, 2013, 03:16:05 PM
Thanks for the complete explanation. This is really a good reading, so at least I can tell some newbs about the reason why they should use Multibit for a start and not worry about it.. Smiley

A quick question: Under what reason should we use Multibit instead of Electrum?

And why does downloading the whole blockchain on full wallet make it more secure than just using light wallet?
45  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many online games now accepts Bitcoin? on: September 16, 2013, 04:16:05 AM
I actually haven't heard about it except those tons of gambling sites or that you can buy some steam games on humble bundle with cheap price.

Maybe it's just me..  Roll Eyes

My guess is that it will goes down harshly because of a certain event, and then being skyrocketed again  Grin Grin

In my opinion, blockchain.info is the most secure among all other online wallets. But I like input.io as well, because it's comfortable, easy to use, and especially, offchain  Smiley (so I don't have to pay a lot of miners fee because I accept many micro payments)
48  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOWTO: create a 100% secure wallet on: September 16, 2013, 01:22:30 AM
More secure = less comfortable to use,
Less secure = more comfortable to use Tongue

what i don't understind how i'm going to receive or send this coin if i didn't wait for the bitcoin-qt to download all the block, and how he gonna do that if its in a CD.
As far as I know, you can always receive payment as long as you have your bitcoin address, hence no need to wait for the client to download ll the block.

And if downloading all the blockchain sounds annoying for you, how about use some lightweight wallet instead, like Multibit? Smiley

The easiest way would be buy it instead of earn it, I guess. Tongue
But if you can manage to use lots of faucets while surviving your life in typing lots of capthcas, 0.01 BTC within 3 days should be achievable  Grin
50  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I tried sending with zero fees, lesson learned! on: September 13, 2013, 06:24:21 AM
So far I have never been able to send something with zero fee with blockhain.info wallet.
Let alone zero fee, even when I add frugal fees (0.1 mBTC / 1000 bytes), it was never being confirmed and eventually be reversed back..
