41  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Open Group Buy 1] AntMiner U1 USB STICKS - US only on: January 03, 2014, 12:10:26 AM
Thanks,

vouch iluvpcs seems above board, order is in the mail =)

About the hubs, I always liked mondohubs for my FPGA farms, I don't see a reason they wouldn't work here

50$ for 28 powered ports, I don't think you can beat the price

layout is pretty stupid but oh well

That's the ugliest, but yet coolest, looking USB hub I've seen in ages.  Specs here: www.mondohub.com/hub_overview.php

only thing I'd caution, it looks like its powered with 4 AMPS at 5V, that is about 20 watts, or 9-10 of the AntMiner devices, any more and it won't be able to power them.

Also - Everything ordered up til about 4 PM EST today shipped today
This hub could only stably run 6 AM sticks so I'd cation it

Would you be able to hot wire the hub  to the 5v rail on  a psu ?    I was able to do that with a couple cheap ebay 10 port hubs  to fill em up with AM sticks.

Got my first U1 in mail today!  Thanks for the fast shipping.

Got it up and running in about 10 minutes

Now just need to get my red furys to run along side the ant  in the same instance of cgminer.  anyone have any ideas?

if you want to use cgminer  with zadig

download the current cgminer

use this as your target line

C:\Mining\cgminer\cgminer.exe -o poolurl:port -u worker.name -p password

if you did zadig you need to set up cgminer.

if you want to use bfgminer  do this.

install the driver file in this http://www.mediafire.com/download/819me4zvdju8lyg/bfgminerWin.zip

download and use the current version of bfgminer 3.8.0

use this for your target line

C:\Mining\bfgminer\bfgminer.exe -o poolurl:port -u worker.name -p password -S bf1:all

Posted to original thread asking for proof he was legit.

Post deleted.

Seems legit to me. Take my money!

So someone who is asking the community for a million  will not even prove he is legit?  Would rather just delete and ignore requests.   hmmm

Everyone needs to come together and stop all the pre-order bs.  Let  companies fund their own ventures  and sell what they have in stock.  If said company cannot pay for their own research and development,  they shouldn't be in business.  Maybe I'm wrong on this,  please feel free to correct me if need be.   Boycott the pre-orders and I bet you will see a better ASIC market with more reputable companies and far less delays.  I understand you want to get a jump on the next generation miners,  but how many companies have actually delivered on time.  Bet you can count them on one hand.

I make roughly BTC0.011 per day, just using my 7950. 1gh/s is double the speed I have.

Are you mining btc or a different coin?
I switch between alt-coins, and it pays a LOT more than mining raw bitcoin does for me. Mining bitcoin isn't even profitable for me, as the 0.00004 I would be making doesn't break even with electricity costs.

are you mining script coins  or  sha256 ?

Is the LED  on ?    What OS are you using?  Have you changed anything since it was first working correctly.

Check all your connections to your USB hubs.    Unplug the Red Fury  and plug it back it.    Try pressing the reset button on the Fury.  its the button near the usb port, it has RST printed on the board next to the button.

A few more details about your setup and Im sure someone can help you out better.

50  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BE - Anker hub - windows 7 on: November 30, 2013, 02:21:08 AM
After messing with it a bunch.  I updated the systems root usb drivers.  Ran windows update  and then cleaned up all the installed usb devices and reinstalled them all one at a time.  Now the Anker hubs are finally recognizing the Block erupters.  Now they all seem to be working perfectly.

Problem is solved.  If anyone else has this issue,  I will be glad to help out the best I can.

[Solved]

Had my anker hubs running on windows xp fine.   put windows 7 on my pc ,  i have a cheap 10 port hub   with 2 anker hubs connected to it.   the block erupters show up fine on the cheap hub,  but  they are unrecognized on the anker hubs.     if i plug the anker hubs into the pc,  still not recognized.

set up worked fine when xp was loaded on the pc.   any ideas?

keeping my eye on this.  Will want a few for sure.
54  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My miners turn on and off! on: November 27, 2013, 03:51:06 AM
Looks like your hubs do not have enough amps to run all of your BE's.

What type of hubs are you running  and what is the amp output on the power supply ?

looks like a great project.  Would probably do well to put one in a university campus.  If you could have the vending machine take fiat or bitcoin  it would probably take off faster IMO.  Didn't notice on the site if that was already a option.    But overall it would definitely get bitcoin out in mainstream.  The more people see bitcoin around  the sooner it will adapt to everyday spending for more people.

Thanks!    Hopefully the hub will run Block erupters.  I got 4 sitting here with no where to put them.  All my other hubs are full.

      Thanks..... I appreciate it.

No Problem.  Glad I could help.
58  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Blue Fury Support Thread. on: November 27, 2013, 02:32:20 AM

Has anyone been able to get BF and BE running together, in any configuration of power, using Win7 and BFGMiner 3xx ?

                Knicknac

on your command line  you have to  specify each com device

example

"bfgminer.exe -o poolurl:port -u username -p password -S bf1:\\.\COM3 -S erupter:\\.\COM4 "

you can run more then one of each ,  just have to add each of them  like above.   I currently have 22 BE's and 2 redfurys running together.
