For me, it is fair. I think you need to forget dust transactions. Bitcoin priced had increased so I guess we need to adjust too. Bitcoin is still the cheapest in my opinion in transferring thousands to millions of dollars worth of BTC. If you are to send dust better to use altcoins for it.

I don't think so, Ethereum will not take over Bitcoin as we know Bitcoin is the number 1 coin in digital currencies and its very popular maybe bch will take over Bitcoin because its price is stable. We do have many speculation but we cant predict the value of the coin because it will always depend in useful of the coin.
