I'd like to see articles about the demand for in game items and the economies outside of the game that have grown to feed this demand. Ultima online players really pioneered this by seeking items on ebay. Of course, things have evolved since then.
As an old UO player I can vouch for how much irl money I spent to buy items. I always wondered why a real economist didn't study the UO economy and write about it. In it's hay day it was crazy. |

I think that general discussions about the advantages of integrating cryptocurrency with gaming communities is of great value. For instance, gamers like to accumulate digital items and digital currencies. There's a belief held by many that gamers, and probably everyone, want to digitize things that they enjoy such as music, pictures, videos, and money. These digitized items are then even further enjoyed when they can then touch the real world again. I know that sounds like the plot to inception but there is empirical evidence for this. They touch the real world again when shared through social media. However, this real world to gaming back to real world connection is most extreme with digitized money (cryptos). Not only can cryptocurrency buy in game items, in game items can be used to buy cryptocurrency. Now let's look at cryptocurrency itself. As a digitized store of value, it lives in both worlds and can be easily shared among gamers touching the game world and real world. Gamers aren't just ready for cryptocurrency integration, they are uniquely primed for it more than any other population. I completely agree with you on this one and this is why I started following DXC a long time ago. There's so much potential there for DXC and when it succeeds it's great not just for the DXC community but for crypto as a whole. |

I was also surprised that within the DNR ecosystem that there is a battle between miners and stakers!
It's quite an engaging and fun time within DNR.
Honestly, I don't get your ideas. What are battles between miners and stakers?  It wasn't so much of a battle but a well crafted reward system that was designed to allow the community to prevent attacks like the one DNR was experiencing. When new technology comes out and it allows a small handful of miners to get huge rewards it isn't good for the coin, the POS allowed the existing holders to reduce the number of POW blocks by increasing the amount of DNR staked making it less profitable for the guys who bought expensive FPGA's. |

Is this going to make me profit ?
It isn't just about profit. If the project continues to be successful it's beneficial to all crypto. Crypto isn't meant to be just bought and sold like stocks or bonds it's meant to be used as currency. It provides financial freedom to millions with limited access and allows people around the world to interact and make transactions with each other without needing a bank, which is just in it to take their cut. What's the point to grow the mn collateral? I mean, we will have just less people into masternode, but basically the same reward, am i wrong? I'm asking because i'm curious, i don't know so much how it works.. what will be the benfits? Thanks  I can understand the concept and the reasoning but I'm not sure if it's the best way to go. The concept is that it would create more demand with existing users who would buy more and create more volume. The reasoning is because we need better volume and a more stable, and hopefully higher, price so that the hub can get started with some of the premine being sold so keys can be purchased and when the keys are sold the can be traded into BTC and then fiat so more keys can be purchased without huge changes in the price. I don't know that it will work and I think that if everyone in the community would spend a bit of time each day promoting the coin it would do more for the price than this would but I could be wrong. Either way this is something that needs to be addressed to help the hub succeed. But also they can create the opposite.. if a masternode need 2000 collateral, all the people who have for example between 1000 and 2000 will sell, as the people who have between 2000 and 4000 probably.. so don't know if it is the right choice. It's a difficult choice for sure. Glad I'm not making it For the time being seems like we're staying with 1k collateral. |

This is definitely a great project, I'm really glad there was a switch to MN/POS only, I hope to see the value climb while dixihub continues to grow usage.
I was a bit torn on that one. I love mining but with all the 51% shenanigans going on lately I get why they did it. It really made the coin more secure. |
