Yeah same thing. Upload, bandwifth same thing. how many connections does your server have? 1Gbit? 2 Gbit? and how big is your hosts upload speed? 100mbit or Gbit?

Your software is it running on a Harddisk? Because when i host heavy SQL applications on our LAN-party everything is loaded in a RAMdisk to handle 200 sql connections. Otherwise it bottleneck like hell. Maybe a idea?

PM incoming.

Omg SPAM  Shocked

How big is your server upload? And do you have loadbalancing software?

Server upload?  You mean bandwidth on the upload connection or the size of the server?

The back-end mysql cluster is load-balanced via mysqlnd_ms, which is supported on the MPOS installation.  I can see traffic between the cluster, so I know it is working properly.  I need to trace the bottleneck and find out if there is a fix.  I'll be working on this throughout the weekend.

I logged into the Hashfaster pool and saw that they're in the same boat as us when they hit ~150MH.  I might drop a line to a few helpful pool ops and see if they have any suggestions.  If anyone is a server pro, PM me if you have any advice.

47  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / [XUBUNTU] Cgminer doenst start. on: December 08, 2013, 04:00:09 PM
Hey Guys,

Im busy with migrating my Miner back to Linux and i have a problem with CGminer. I used a online tutorial to install the miner and drivers of the GPU's.
Now when i want to execute my CGminer with ./cgminer. Nothing happens. Even when i try to execute the cg file nothing happens. I dont get an error report, i dont see anything.
With other words, nothing happens.
Does somebody know how to fix this? because i already googled but i cant find a solution about not starting or showing a window.

I run the 13.11 Beta drivers with 3 HD6990.

Greetings Johan

WARNING EVERYONE CHANGE OVER TO NEW BINARIES AND QTs as the old ones may start facing issues after 10,000 blocks

Windows QT: http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/476263/globe-qt-rar.html

Linux QT: http://speedy.sh/K5uZW/globe-qt

Hm, Windows QT doesn't work for me.

I have 6 connections but the wallet doesn't sync.  Huh

Same here. Still 13 blocks remaining and quits syncing

51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GLC] Global Coin Pre-Release Info Thread | Released | Store Being Updated! on: December 07, 2013, 06:56:15 AM
There's a nice globalcoin pool up and running at: http://globalcoin.miners-pool.eu/
I mined on that pool about an hour and i didn't get anything with 1540 hash/s. Pool stats showed an estimate of 10000 at the time and blocks were found every few seconds. Still i did not get anything.
Also the "add worker" has some weird ToFist as default username, but once i added worker it was same as my accountname and the workerpage showed my worker as not active with my hashing speed.
Another weird thing was that network hash speed was sometimes below pool hash speed.

As soon as i changed to p2pool, i started getting block rewards.

I've just noticed the same thing, none of my shares have been counted (including several block finds) for the past few hours. I've notified the admin but haven't had a response yet.

I'm on p2pool now as well and would recommend everyone swap over until this is fixed.

I cant find the p2pool vor GLC. i dont see it on the website

Hey Guys.

Starting post says it is a SHA-256 coin and Coinwars said it is a Scrypt coin. Which is it?

Globe is SHA-256

I think you're looking at global coin.

Sorry indeed.
No i have still a BFL 5ghash ASic and i was wondering. Is this profiteble?

Would love to win that jackpot... I should qualify as I have had my miners running pretty much 24/7.

Been interesting...

I started mining this pool with a single 7790 at 240kh/s... pounded away at this pool for a week or so... not much to show for it... then Fuse sent me a nice gift for my persistence.

About a week ago I brought my son's big gaming PC online whenever I could and upped my hash-rate to around 600Kh/s when he was not playing games.

Yesterday I took the 7790 off-line and stuck a 280X in my computer... current hash-rate of 1Mh/s... yoo hooo!!!

If all goes to plan there will be a dedicated double 280X mining rig coming online in the few days and I plan to be tackling this pool with more the 2Mh/s!!!!

All credit goes to Fuse for encouraging my to persist until I started to see so progress and profit... my goal is to mine and hold 1000 TagCoins in the next few months.

With the dedication and innovation of the TagCoin admin team, I believe that we will see TagCoin be worth more than $50 ea... that will be a nice ROI.

Sounds like a plan. I run now 3xHD6990. When my new mb arrive of course. Because my last one died.
The price of TAG was a few days ago 1 bitcoin for 300 TAG, sow i think TAG will be oke.
I mine TAG and GLD at the moment. Both nice and profiteble.

Finally got my ASIC from BFL and it is shit now because the difficulty is to high.

Good to see everything seems to be running reasonably smoothly and it's great to see some new miners on the pool.  The new difficulty algorithm appears to be doing its job and keeping the multipools at bay.  Looking at Hashcows last 30 rounds they haven't mined the coin once whereas before they were on the coin all the time.

Honestly, I'm glad they're out of the picture.  I have noticed that some rounds are going really long, but overall it has been smooth running.

The first jackpot is this Saturday.  If you're not sure if you are eligible for the jackpot, check out the second post of this thread regarding the jackpot system.  The way we're sitting right now, I'm thinking the first jackpot will be at least 40TAG.  Make sure you stay connected, miners.  You don't want to miss out on this one!

Tomorrow my Rig will mine full power again. if my calculations are correct it wil be arround 2.8Mhashes. If my PSU will survive it.

Btw guys. never use a Cisco Firewall in combination with TAGwallets. Bad choice.

Hey Guys,

How long takes a deposit to Cryptsy normally?

Have you tried deleting your bin files and starting the miner again?

That's a weird one, mate.  Is anyone else experiencing any issues with the pool dropping connections to miners, other than when we go down on a hard disconnect for maintenance?

It is just only worker 4 that goes to Mhash and then starts Ghas mining and stops. It is no problem but for some Reason only number 4 has it.

Just miner 4 crashes and quits connection.

Scale your settings all the way back on that card and see what happens.  Like intensity 9 or something.

Already done. I only have te problem with tagmining. When i mine at gld.dencoin i dont have problems.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAG] TAGMining.Com- 0%, Weekly jackpot!, **UPGRADED TO 1.02** on: November 30, 2013, 01:18:11 AM
Correct chain is blocks - 12133, difficulty - 14.49974591

Per Mark @ Tagbond, we are on the correct chain right now.  Some of the blocks we pegged in the 12000-12100 range will probably orphan.

You still using that PSU, or did you upgrade?  After our convo, I thought about when mine was doing that with my 650w, and how with the insufficient voltage it was throwing all sorts of weird temps and speeds.

Or is this in the 2 card rig, meaning the second core on the second card?

No i mean my Main rig.
I have 4 workers on my Main Rig with 1200 PSU. But my fourth miner keeps mining in Ghashes and then hey crashes.

Total computer crash or just card crash in the miner?

Just miner 4 crashes and quits connection.
