Good lord, I'm having all kinds of trouble the last couple days.
This morning I tried to send coin to Mintpal and Cryptsy but never got any confirmations on my end and of course it never showed up on their end. Check the transaction ID and it doesn't exist on the blockchain. I removed everything but wallet.dat in the darkcoin folder and restarted, but after the reindex, my coin total still does not show those, "Sent" coins.
I'm sure they're still in the wallet, but am unsure what to do.
Any ideas?

*edit* Just had the idea to restore a backup from yesterday. We'll try that first. If anyone has other ideas, I'm all ears.

What happened with this idea : Ring Signatures, RC3 Progress Report 22 May 2014 I've had some substantial progress on DarkSend and have figured out how to make our existing system as secure as ring signatures. Vastly improved security, no bloat (from the ring signatures) and without actually having to trust new cryptography (it hasn't been extensively tested like what DarkSend uses) . So I think it'll give us a HUGE advantage in the coming months. More to come soon, I'm going to start implementing this tomorrow.  It have been removed from first page . Just as I was about to transfere some drks into cryptsy for arbitrage the price went free fall even beneith mintpal!!!  Coin transfer, even more so between exchanges, especially in busy hours can't possibly be fast enough for things like this. Cut you funds into 4 pieces. Keep both DRK and BTC on both exhanges and play until you run out of one of these currencies on both. You won't be rich but you probably make more of one or another coin. You can try and aim to end up with BTC on one and with DRK on the other exchange and then keep calm while you make a cross-exchange transfer. Actually not a bad idea. I'm just a little cautious daytrading as a result of pure lack of skills on that matter. I just saw an oppotunity to make some easy drk, but looks like someone beat me to it |

Does anyone know why there's such a huge difference in price on craptsy and mintpal? (C=0.026) (M=0.022) And is someone currently taking advantage of it doing some arbitrage? I'm certainly thinking of it if it continues I don't know but I'm buying like mad. Evidently bot is on the downcycle to accumulate, I'm following. Good idea. But how would you exectly take advantage of the price difference? I just woke up, can't wrap my head around anything with numbers before my third cup of coffee! |

Is it me or is the cryptsy chart warming up? If we get to 0.03 tonight, I'm on the champo  I don't follow the cryptsy chart but the mintpal chart due to the fact that cryptsy has such lag on cancelling orders. It simply can't be trusted to represent drk-value realtime when peoples funds are frozen. Months and Months, the darksend update is coming out on june 14th, You're so fucking retarded/stupid....omg do you even read, can you even read???!!! Now they have 3 weeks to dump this useless coin at high price. 80% of the darkcoin is in the wallets of 100 people. You can see it too with in just a hour analyzing the information. There no proof of working darksend or any capability of the dev to implement any kind of anonymity . Terzo what happened? You used to like DRK. Did you have a couple of bad trades? Unless you're an experienced trader and can deprive yourself from beeing overly enthusiastic or smitten by other people's panic or whalebait, I'd strongly recommend you to hold. I learned it the hard way and lost +500drk and thereby my chance of running a masternode. (I should be mentioned I was terribly high and paranoid at the moment i sold, but still) so the only way would be to try and get 859 drk? or find others to pool with - but that would take a lot of trust. not really advisable, but an option. Do you think DRK can hit $800 one day like btc did? No one can know for sure. We can come up with all sorts of brilliant analyzes but look what the china news did for btc. It doesn't take much bad press to scare away investers etc. Bad news could come tomorrow or some news that this and that internet site is now accepting drk, which will send the price flying. ( but I hope so, just so you don't think I'm trying to scare you away) |

Unless you're an experienced trader and can deprive yourself from beeing overly enthusiastic or smitten by other people's panic or whalebait, I'd strongly recommend you to hold. I learned it the hard way and lost +500drk and thereby my chance of running a masternode. (I should be mentioned I was terribly high and paranoid at the moment i sold, but still) so the only way would be to try and get 859 drk? You could try and start out with trading a few drks to get a feeling of how the price fluxes. When you then feel comfortable enough you could put more drks into the equation and thereby maximize profits. But be aware of all the trolls in forums/reddit/etc who will try and make you sell or even if the coin is dying make you buy, and don't gamble with more than you're willing to loose. I know it's the most cliché advice, but it's kind of true |

The cup and handle is a chart pattern used to describe the small dip in value just before another breakout. People often debate whether it's a double top, which is as it sounds 2 tops before a decline in value, or a cup and handle. I've read somewhere that a cup and handle formation is often characterized by more of a u shape where the doubletop is often more v shaped.
 And now i can exhibit my paint skills...so, these may both be examples of CupNHandle then? These are both different charts showing the same time frame as yours as far as i can tell.
