We are only able to talk about the work we've done on lyra2z and cnv1

I noticed on your site it says "Power: 75W PCI-E + 150W 8-Pin AUX", so would that mean it'll actually require a max of 225w combined for each card depending on the algo? Or the 150w for lyra2z and cnv1 were already measured as the overall baseline? Trying to figure out how many can fit on my PSU safely without overloading.

Power utilization is determined by the bitstream you're using. You can have a bitstream that uses 5 watts. 225W is maximum power availability, you should build based on 250W-300W to be safe.

Do if that's the case, does that mean you're likely able to increase the cryptonight hashrate further by using a bit more power or is it limited by other aspects of the card?

Lol

Why not just call it heavycoin?

Aaaaah

Your price doesn't include tax so its $4320 dollars a piece!

I'll stick with my vegas for now then but will look forward future versions when that price comes down a little
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ALLMINE INC - FPGA Cryptominer on: June 07, 2018, 07:30:36 AM
And....
Unless the new bitstreams are completely free you'd end up paying more over time
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ALLMINE INC - FPGA Cryptominer on: June 07, 2018, 07:28:59 AM
Don't worry, they just posted up cryptonight V1 at 14k/h

I was hoping for better, lol

Thats equivalent 7 vega
In UK you can pick up 6 Vegas for around the same price
It'll use more power
But you'll be able to resell easier

If I tried I'm sure I could get 6 vega up to 14kh with some SoC tweaking

limit to cryptonight :
there are 2160BRAM+960URAM in XCVU9P,you can use 38MB in big ram cascade mode, that is 19 core
each cryptonight  hash need 1M memory read and write cycles.
if you remove all pipeline, you may get 100H @100MHz per core.
if you all pipeline to improve fmax, you will get slower hashrate.
it maybe very hard to run 100MHz with no pipeline.
assume it is 100MHz,19CORE, the max hashrate is 1900H/s.
if using extern DDR4,the limit is bandwidth,36MB per hash, each DDR4-2400 may get 533H/s,
but the cryptonight  random access rate is 16byte ,memory random access rate is 128byte , the valid efficiency is 1/8
each DDR4-2400 may can get 66.6H/s,and 4 DDR4 you get 266H/s

the max theoretical cryptonight hashrate is 1900+266=2166 H/s
Don't dream to get 22KH/s

Wow you have no idea. In fact your maximum is so far below the basic achievable without any tricks  that I now have zero confidence in anything you’ve posted.

Yeah I thought that sounded too low also
Whats your estimate?

So this card will do cryptonight at the sane rate as 1 vega then?
Lol, surely that can't be right?

What's the expected turnaround for new bitstreams on new algos likely to be?

I do a lot of cryptonight coins and it seems a growing trend for coins to create their own algorithm variations by just tweaking a couple of settings

Some that come to mind are:
cryptonight Aeon
Cryptonight IPBC
Cryptonight b2n
Cryptonight Arto

Then you've got all the rest
Standard
V7
Lite
Litev7
Heavy

Etc etc

Wow, not seen that template used in crypto a hundred times already
Same designer again
Are people just buying premade coin releases now?

WHOAH!

I just caught the tail end of this thread but have go a back and read through it all

You're NOT shipping to EU until batch 2??

LAME!
 Sad

That's been taken care, we're shipping pretty much worldwide batch 1.

Hooray!

I went through the order process so got as far as getting the BTC address and reference to send to but no further
I responded to their emails stating concerns the item did not exist, asked them to send any evidence that they even have multiple units as there is only a photo of a single unit

They sent me the BTC address within a few hours
But a few days have now passed and I've not heard anything back at all

Sorry but a genuine seller of anything will do what they can to put the buyers mind at ease in order to close the sale

Pretty certain it's a scam... I might be proven wrong but at least I've not lost any money!

You say you're cpu friendly but have used the original cryptonight algo

Which means you're ASIC friendly

So the CPU miners have absolutely no chance!

Scamcoin!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that logic

Yeah..... Because it shows they dont know what they're talking about

have you missed a few steps out???

where do you get the config file?

this is very very bad for a released coin
