It seems the first Block has raised trust in our pool Smiley, we are running now about 6 TH/sek, and nearly doubled our workers in the past 24 Hours!
44  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC GUILD is the best? on: April 21, 2014, 09:25:50 PM
people still using pools? Why?  Huh

What do you mean lol?
Unless you get a huge ASIC farm, it is pretty much meaningless to do solo-mining now.
Well maybe he wants to point to p2pools
45  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC GUILD is the best? on: April 21, 2014, 11:44:07 AM
why they shoudlnt?
mining alone takes ages to find a block..
46  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: I need help connecting my 200ghz Avalon clone to my router! on: April 20, 2014, 10:26:39 PM
Hello,

If you connectected your computer directly to your miner and were able to access him:

Thats a good start Smiley.

First of all it seems youre using a cross-over ethernet cable, this one cant be used to connect your miner to your router.
You have to get a patch cable.

If you have done this:
- Connect your computer (with cross-over-cable) to your miner
- Connect to the webinterface
- Choose DHCP in network settings
- Click Apply/Submit or something like that
- Restart your mining engine
- Connect your Mining engine with your router with a patch-cable!

After that your Miner gehts a dynamic ip (from your router), you have to search for him, if thers no display or something on it, which shows his ip.

This is how it goes:
First You have to check out your computers IP.

On windows -> Start -> cmd -> ipconfig
On Unix/MacOS -> Terminal -> ifconfig

Youre ip should be properly something like

192.168.0.*
or 192.168.1.*
or 192.168.178.*
or 10.0.0.*

after you found your ip lets say its 192.168.0.20, then try to reach your miner with adding one to last part of the address for example:
192.168.0.21
if this doesnt work go on
192.168.0.22,192.168.0.23,192.168.0.24...

If you reached the web-interface again you successfull connected your miner to your network Smiley

Let me know if it worked ! Smiley

47  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [Cgminer] connection to pool 0 interrupted (15$ btc bounty) on: April 20, 2014, 10:16:25 PM
Its a connection interruption.
It can be on your side (if youre using wlan or any wireless connection),
otherwise its a pool issue.

Anyways you should setup a second pool as fail-over otherwise youre loosing mining time!

what is probability of finding block / getting payout with pool hashrate ~ 2.2 Th/s ?

6 months at current diff.
if they indeed found a block, I'd take the money and run lol..

That would be a bad move ..

Why we dont do this?
Well we spent a long time to create custom software (multi coin software, queue cloud system, android app and so on..), to bring a stable pool in the long run.
49  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC GUILD is the best? on: April 19, 2014, 10:38:17 PM
As already told, theres no "best".

What you can do is do compare some pools on following facts:

- Uptime
- DDOS-Protection
- Do they run custom software?
- Payout System (PPLNS,Prop...)
- Did they already payout?
- Support Speed
- How many Blocks they found
- User experience (Google for it)
- Financial Stability
- How long are they online?
- Do they successfull run any other coins?
- Security (Two factor auth)

And so on Smiley, good luck with choosing your Pool ! Smiley
