Have fun boyz, volume is coming back. I'm just too tired to play with you tonight

These drivers must work better for Vega, though I was not able to install them for Vega FE. For Polaris I don't see any changes in speed for ZEC. Unfortunately, I have no idea what you mean, I don't have enough experience in these Linux problems. I test my miners on ubuntu 16.04 and gpu-pro drivers, for old cards I use 15.12 drivers and Ubuntu 12.04, for NVidia I use Ubuntu 14.04 with CUDA8-compatible drivers, it works fine. Since you did not specify any details, may be you use some different Linux or drivers. My miners are for Windows mainly, I compile them for Linux because of a lot of users requests, I don't test all Linux builds and drivers because it can take forever. Sorry, I will give you more info. I lack experience with theses new drivers too but I think I could help you troubleshoot it. Moreover, I think it is an issue you will have to fix in the future if it's on Claymore side (could be some change they made on amdpu that requires intervention from user side, no idea...) So I use the free amdgpu driver and amd-staging-4.12 kernel. I will check if I have the same issue with linux-mainline (the linux 4.12 you find in your usual distros). I didn't have this issue with amd-mainline-hybrid-4.11 kernel. So my guess it that they changed some code between amd-mainline-hybrid-4.11 and amd-staging-4.12 kernels and that it will be merged sooner or later in the linux mainline kernel and in the gpu-pro driver. Here's the AMD kernels I'm talking about : https://cgit.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/linux/Thanks for the linux support by the way Edit : No issue on linux-mainline either, so I guess the code has not been merged there either. So the issue only happen on amd-staging-4.11 and amd-staging-4.12 kernels which are the kernels/drivers where the code is first merged so people can use it before it finally lands in linux-mainline (which can take quite some time).

Im watching the kraken BCH/EUR charts for a few hours now. Its funny to see how 1 big whale is manipulating the prices by putting up big buy and sell walls.
I played a little with it tonight (and enjoyed it) but today's volumes are sad... Guess I should start to find a way how to prioritize cryptos over sleep schedule

So sad I missed the last dips, I think BTC is going back up or, at the worst, will not fall further. Last Bitstamp bears did their sport today.

I'll support whatever crypto ends being the "best" one. If Core need to be replaced and die out, then it will die.
And your definition of "best" one is? Let's both take the red pill and go down the rabbit hole together. Can't give you a definite answer before we come out of this ordeal But I guess short term we'll settle on the one that will eat fiat market shares the better.

Oh for fuck sake. Just got all my shit together to submit and... Krakened...god those losers re: MtGox, yeah, I'm not sure, the Japanese authorities have been pretty opaque I still don't know how it's possible to trade on kraken without getting rekt by their engine... I am neutral.
Well then, you are just in it to make more fiat. Like the stock market, you don't really care about the underlying asset. Not saying that is good or bad. But then I would say you are definitely not one of the minds that are reinforcing Bitcoin's belief system as a (better?) form of money. I'm neutral too. I'm here to increase my assets "real" (as in current and future, recognized) value. But I'm no "die hard Core supporter". In my opinion cryptos are the future but maybe Core can't or will not be the crypto of the future. I'll support whatever crypto ends being the "best" one. If Core need to be replaced and die out, then it will die.

Blah usual "I'm too sleepy, I'll stay in USD", look at BTC recover from sub-4k and buy at 4060 because it would be dumb to miss the train... Now I can chose between putting a "no-loss" stop order which is likely to get hit and a ~4k stop order which is unlikely to get hit if market recover but would net me not so nice losses...

Cool. Just caught the dip and bought $1000CAD worth when it was below $4kUSD. It can go up now. Got A Nice amount of fiat as wel ready to buy the dip , But Allmost thinking of buying BTH in Its run Haha BUT no stick with my original plan buy A Nice dip of btc only thinking to buy now or want A little Any suggestions ? Seems like this BCH train is a nice ride to have... for now. Sadly I missed its last halt so I will just go sleep and check where both trains are tomorrow Doubt BCH pump will end there though...

I hope everyone's enjoying the coins they bought yesterday for under $3.9k.
The price is never too high to buy the dip.
Even if I bought the dip (late, at 3.9k), now I'm greedy and feel bad about letting go the opportunity of a margin long at 4120

Not the best timing, but I have BTC/USD short open from $4041. Target is low $3000's.
Where have you placed the stop loss? I adjust it based on market movement. Since we've made $3880, SL is now at $4201. If price goes above $4100 again, based on market movement I suggest you adjust it at low $5000's. I covered at $3840. Re-shorting this pop here. I don't hold my trades very long. You must be crazy to short this market. I have seen countless of people blow up their accounts. Shorting on margin is suicide, he is probably playing with a few hundred or thousand and will panic buy back at a loss of btc. Seems clever to me. We all waited for this correction, here it is. Why not profit from it ? On another subject, now I hope BTC will stay above 4k so I can go snooze a little.

France is one of theses countries.

Dammit. Bought at 4012 before going to restaurant. Checked price there, was delighted to see 4120. Now I'm back home and I see my stop order at 4000 triggered... Way to give more money to Bitfinex than to other traders V_v
people never learn ... obvious weak hands style dump (+ stop loss orders wipeout) and people in here already posting bullshits about dropping to sub 4000k it's small correction, use it for your good or close charts and live May you be right

Buy at 4208, sell at 4260, miss the 4230 bottom, look at the Bitstamp wall getting eaten and the price rocketing upwards. Holding is hard. Buying after a missed target too. Still in USD
Dammit, my stop order at 4229 triggered Trying to hop back on the train but with the lack of free time, it's hard... Now I'm back to hoping for a correction that will likely not happen soon enough.
Should have put this 4k limit order I'm just so unwell with the idea of buying dips while I'm asleep...

Nothing wrong from my side. Miner started getting this error overnight, I didn't do anything. nice -n 19 ./cpuminer -t 8 -a scrypt:1048576 -o stratum+tcp://5.9.108.114:7103 -u myusername.test -p test edit : Now it works.
anybody else smell a correction?
I hope so, still bagholding USD... But we already got some nice (and quick) dips August 9-10... So I guess we will not see anything else than small dips.

Poolinat0r seems to be down. the page isn't opening and the miner won't connec to the pool .
poolinat0r.comDNS/Domain has been renewed. domain should be fine again in the next few hours but please note that DNS could take up to 48h to be fine again (for me it is fine already). For miners on vrm.poolinator.com with stratum eu.poolinat0r.com try this instead of the domain: Stratum address: 5.9.108.114 with the same ports as on the domain stratum. Here I get "Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to eu2.poolinat0r.com port 7103: Connection refused" whether I use domain or IP.
