Whats long with such a long post? It's not like it was just one paragraph. It was basically a mini-essay, even with titles for each section.
Sometimes it takes a while to explain what you are trying to say, that is if you actually have something to say =P
I've made quite a few long rants in here myself. There is a lot to rant about with VRC it seems =P
Apparently not for the devs though.. My balls are getting so blue in anticipation for this announcement that it's getting ridiculous.
I mean, how long are they going to string this out? Negotiations are done, now what it's going to take several days to write up the announcement?? That's just rubbish and anyone who believes otherwise is kidding themselves.
The devs are stringing this out on purpose, there is no question.
We had to make a few minor adjustments to the written agreement for the benefit of VeriCoin. We are doing this the right way and that takes time. Each day we are getting closer and closer and the agreement is getting better and better. We are not stringing this out on purpose, that would not benefit anyone in anyway. LOL, 100+ hours later you continue to string people along. I have an idea for VRC branding, screw "rollback" coin. Lets make this "PromiseCoin" I have never seen a development team more capable of promising to deliver everything, deliver nothing, and then have the community chear and applaud the efforts. They are so good infact, people let reality slip and just submerse themselves in the games and promises that has become vericoin. I remember when this was a "good coin" Remember what made this good.. It was the promises. What has been DEVELOPED that has moved the needle? Name me one action that has benefited this coin? Please, one product, something that VRC has DONE to make this a great coin? I am failing to find anything other than promises for this coin. If you all want to keep investing in promises from 3 clearly overwhelmed, and incapable developers, then so be it. I have tried for months to be a part of what makes vericoin grow. Anything I have said / done in the past will not change the future of vericoin when the basics of business are ignored on a constant basis. I have been a cheerleader, I have been critical, I have taken a reasonable approach to VRC for months. I was in, and had domains since the first week of this project. I have constantly thrown my support, and business advice to those who wished to listen. I will not support a coin who wants to be mainstream, but yet lacks everything a mainstream coin needs. A mainstream coin needs a product, not promises. A mainstream coin needs developers who have 100% time and devotion. A hobby from 3 people who don't need the money doesn't sound like the ground of people desperate enough to take that extra step, to make that extra code, ect. VeriCoin should be everything these developers eat / sleep / talk about. These guys have a life, family, education, and many other things going on. I don't think they meant any of this harm, they thought that a few promises, and veribit would make the sheep flock to the potential future value of VRC! This via twitter @Pnosker in june a 500k satoshi coin. "Count on it!" Calm the donkey down. Seriously. It is rants like this that make devs give up. Your rant is nothing but a waste of time - it isn't going to change a thing. I'm sorry you bought into the coin and are now pissed off. But seriously, we are 3 months in, the price will rise again. If you are going to moan like a little bitch, do it somewhere else. |

this happens all the time in the business world, your obviously children and crypto as a whole stands no chance if these kids don't mature..so they were late wtf calm your tits ppl.. its coming...
In any business you miss announcements or if the announcement is underwhelming then guess what the stock drops this is no different. Delays are not good in any business. u obviously don't run a business.. i own a large manufacturing denim company... trust me these things happen all the time and no stocks do not drop cause an "ann" is a day late.. ex: apple has many times delayed their new phone release to ensure quality and quantity ...or caused by manufacturing delays... pls if u don't own a substantial business don't comment on what u don't know thinking the that you do cause of the way crypto is these days... Please tell me a time when Apple said they were going to release a product on said date and didn't?!?? Link as well please. Apple is uncommonly good in this regard, we aspire to be more like them in many ways regarding marketing. It is fair to be disappointed with the delay here and I take responsibility for it, though we are close. I misjudged the time required for the unfolding of this process and it was a misstep, I have learned from this. Hi all,
Just got it touch with TheCryptoEdge, fluttercoin co-dev.
Nothing clear yet - but he told me he's interested to "further it". I'm happy to get him with us, hopefully he'll join the skype group tomorrow and discuss options with us.
Meanwhile, my little Mintpal buy order @190 sato is still unfulfilled, that's good, no more dumping, things are under control !
Let's get this thing up !
Hi - I was involved with fluttercoin PR the first time around. I would strongly advise not to involve TheCryptoEdge, or TheKidCoin, or the Multipool dev. It was a total distaster, with no one really wanting to help. They were more interested in dumping their coins, and didn't care about the future. TheCryptoEdge owned the @Fluttercoin twitter account, but hardly ever posted anything useful. TheKidCoin was a one-man-band who spent more time swearing at people who tried to help than developing the coin. There was no real leader, and the whole thing suffered from in-fighting. Everyone was more than happy to offer "good" ideas, but no one, and I mean NO ONE, wanted to put in their effort, time or money to make it work. A totall new, fresh team is needed, and you guys sound great, just don't involve the original crowd if you want it to work. Good luck! |

Another interesting fact is that http://greenearthsystems.com.au/ is registered under IMPACT INVESTIGATIONS AND SECURITY PTY LTD which according to their linkedin profile is a surveillance company. If you look at the web archive here: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://greenearthsystems.com.au/ You will see that greenearthsystems.com.au started out in 2008 selling Green (i.e., energy efficient) Security and CCTV systems, hence the name IMPACT INVESTIGATIONS AND SECURITY PTY LTD. NOTE that the current website design appeared Jan 2012. Note also, that in 2012 the front page states that the comany deals with trading in green technologies, and commodities INLCUDING Urea. So, overall, I'd say it looks pretty legit.  |

the KidCoin - please ignore the idiots. We should spend our time working on developing the coin, and on improving PR, rather than dealing with these idiots. I hear the multipool could be out of beta this weeked. We need the official twitter accounts to accounce that there will be some good news soon. We need to get the hype up. Silence just doesn't work. You don't need to post a link to anything. Just saying "business as usual" is good. Also saying big/good news coming on Satururday will be amazing.

Raising the fees to 1.5% would mean that the users would be paying for this mistake. It doesn't make sense - take 12% of balances and then get the users to pay for it with higher fees. If fees went up many would go elsewhere, leaving the rest of us to pay even more. The users should not pay for this.
He will refund 12.3% balance when covered stolen BTC so you will be lost 12.3% BTC or less in total. Yes, I understand that - but you will effectively be paying for your 12% back via fees. I repeat - users should not pay for this. |
