Just wanted to take a moment to thank those who provided feedback on my post this morning. I've been asked if I could turn this into more of a "blog" type post for vericoinnews.info which I would be happy to do. I'm actually going to take what I wrote and tweak it around for my own website geared more towards people who haven't heard of crypto digital currencies all together. I should have this all done by tonight.

I think a real investor would be worried about the devs (who are great) much more than an unmoderated forum thread on the internet freakshow.
Maybe so, but the wallet links right to this forum. If it linked to a professional, well run, moderated forum...it would look a lot better then this dribble. This is in the works. We ultimately will have one moderated (more family friendly forum) and this one unmoderated. this is great!! finally a place we can talk seriously without the spammers... a place were real investors can see whats really going on with vericoin.. |

If you open eyes barabbas everywhere where are money are manipulators. All markets are manipulated more or less. In crypto there are whales / twitter pump and dumps squads / scams too. You saw BTC dump to 350$ yesterday... **** You can like Devs/Community or not that doesn't matter (for me this is your personal opinion/vision - you don't know personally anyone of them) - delivered features and working stuff matters = then value coin as strong or weak) You can put shit on any coin dev/comunity member i won't take it serious till people are working around and delivering
that is why i am observing VRC because Dev is around and working - advancement if project tells me if it worth invest in coin or not; stuff like ( instant transactions/bank system (VRC promised VeriBank) / smart contracts / true anon tech / decentralized exchange...) interesting me but everyone have something for himself in crypto ( Minerals.Sexcoin,VPNcoin,Xcloudcoin,Datacoin,Namecoin...) people can have different needs than me. In real life on conferences people from different communities can talk together and be friendly without hate or flame war, i have no idea why you are so "toxic here" barabbas and insulting people with different opinion. PS: Coinking/BCmupltipool work almost equal i have no idea what is your problem / maybe sometimes cryptsy api stuck and that is all. |

Glad you mentioned Apple, Last I checked they usually have up to a year before their next conference. So given that much time to prep and announce a product it is almost a certainty that they will not miss that day, considering all the media outlets, PR, Promo materials that need to created and organized. On the other hand if say you look at Intel, which as of late has announced many products ie updated Haswell Cpu and the new upcoming Broadwell chip, they were delayed by at least 2 quarters. Likewise Nvidia is notorious for this this too. They release roadmaps, their latest Maxwell Gpu line is well over 1 year+ late. Hence all the major hardware rehash you see from Apple, Intel, Nvidia etc, since they all depend on each other. In the end, Yes these companies do deliver granted for the most part the geeks in the industry are usually underwhelmed, yet the public usually line up to buy the latest shiny iPhone regardless of its technological advancement. Same goes in the video games industry ( which I worked in for over 3 years ) Games get announced, then deadlines get pushed. ie Now look at the Sony Ps4 line up. When they announced the console, gamers were promised dozens of games by end of 2014.. what do you see. 80% of major IPs have been delayed till next year 2015. You work in software / Hardware expect delays. Fact What the devs should do going forward is to pretty much wait until they have locked down all aspects of talk, negotiations / updates and new features. Once such a feat is fully done, then release a public statement. We will know soon enough  |
