i haven't had much luck with bitcoin or dogecoin sites, always get up then lose it all, so just gave this a try since I have so many dime coins, man...only risked 100k, came out with 147K ... make that over 300k now Any plans on implementing a chat system?

I keep my rig outside just in case something like this happens. Sits on a concrete pad away from the house with a cover over it in case it rains. Harder to set the house on fire, cooled naturally by the outside air....it's a win-win

FWIW, I have 3 r9 290's on an EVGA 1000w PSU, and my killowatt meter says 999-1030W at the wall. Given at 100% usage, the psu is 87% efficient, that means the 3 cards + mobo+proc +1stick of ram = 870W or so. If the 290x is similar, you will be fine.

Good news, but I'll wait for a legit Dime site that i can send my dime to myself, I don't trust just sending coins to some random "service staff"

so i make a habit of encrypting my wallets, except now i get a message saying Minting is stopped because the wallet is encrypted. I don't see an unencrypt option in the menu, is there a way to unlock the wallet without creating a new wallet, then sending my coins to that new address?
Go into Help, Debug Window, Console and type walletpassphrase xxxxxxxxxxxx 9999999999 true the xxxxxxxxxxx is your passphrase that you used when you encrypted it This will unlock it for minting and then it will automatically lock again when you close the wallet sweet send your address i'll send oyu some grain 9RXESr6LCa5LZ3xFMGCsvh7q4KgU36oEHa Thanks no thank you! If I had a backup of my roaming folder, would that have everything I needed if my hard drive failed? Or are there other files that I need ?
wallet.dat is all you need to backup really I was trying to find an easy way to backup ALL of my wallets at once, so that should do it shouldn't it? that is where the wallet.dat files are stored? zip your entire roaming folder if you're paranoid, place contents on 3 flash drives that have truecrypt on them. place one in a safe deposit box, another burried in your yard, and give the 3rd to a family member or friend that lives far away.

Need help with CG Miner (want to mine with AMD GPU) and I get this screen, "Need to specify at least one pool server. Input server details," even though I inputted all the stratum info in the batch file. I've been fucking around with this thing trying URL with and without http and www. Also tried my user name for pool and miner. And also tried different pools: netcodepool, icehash, and dedicatedpool. No luck. Please help.
Your batch file should look like this: setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer.exe --scrypt -u WORKERNAME -p WORKERPASSWORD -o stratum+tcp://POOLURL.com:3333 -I 13 Oh yeah the 3333 is the port of your pool No luck please check PM which version of cgminer are you using ? what is the error are u seeing ? 3.7.2 started cgminer 3.7.2 started cgminer 3.7.2 need to specify at least one pool server. input server details. after i input the credentials i get pool 0 slow/down or url or credentials invalid pool setup failed did you create the workers properly in the pool site ? I wrote you a tutorial. I would try a different pool. Check your PMs one more thing, usually pool usernames are like "loginname.worker", so for example, -u username.workername -p workerpassword

If you click on Help then select Debug Window/console, type in listtransactions and it will show if the 13 transactions are orphans or not.
-tb-
never new that. they're all orphaned take it that means they're gone. Since i have no YUM, would you take a doge donation for your help? actually i'll jump on one of the pools for an hour or two and donate it to you..i was excited to get in on first run, wasted my time. need to find a dummies guide on coins, still new to this stuff.
so.. uh. wtf. I got 13 transactions, during mining i actually had 3 "recent transactions" with the mining icons. I closed the client (rebooted for windows updates) and now this is what I see: where are my coins?
weird, wallet shows 5 transactions, but only 1 mining received for 30 yum....behind because of the onslaught of miners?

3.5mh/s : 51 orphans 0 accepted and a shower of rejects same. >300 rejects, 0 accepts, but first coin with 1.7kh diff for me! woot
Just saw the 2 minute pre-release for client. Finally a release that doesn't favor faster miners. thanks dev!
either? they're the same, one is just in the announcements section.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library "The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applicaiton's support team for more information"
Every time a block is found, whether rejected or not.
We didn't see this problem when developing and testing, but again we're sorry and it definitely must be because of the crappy Qt5.2. As said before we're gonna have a Qt4.8 client out in a day or two. Keep your eyes on the first post in the thread. Thanks, except that doesn't help the rest of us...looks like it works for some people, but without a pool, or a fully working client, the people that are successfully mining (don't know how) are basically pre-mining at this point, so that when a working wallet comes out, diff will already be up.
