41  Other / Serious discussion / Someone emailed me my linked in password today and asking for Bitcoins? on: September 30, 2018, 09:08:13 PM
Today I received the below email which has my linked in password correct but because I use different passwords everywhere and always put a magnet over my webcam, they don`t have anything else for sure.

However, I still wanted to let the community know that linked in somehow, sometime got hacked and leaked the passwords.

So once again, Fuck centralized systems that keeps your personal data insecurely

42  Other / Off-topic / SD Card Showing Wrong Size on: September 28, 2018, 09:57:05 AM
I have a 64 GB micro sd card and it shows 27GB right now. I checked to see if there`s any unallocated space in disk management and fdisk but there`s no unallocated space to add. It shows 27 GB everywhere so it doesn`t format it back to 64 GB again.

Can someone please help me on this?

44  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Job Board on: June 14, 2018, 01:19:48 AM
This is "services" listed under "marketplace"

I don`t see this being even similar to a job board where people look for employees and employers
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Place to find Resume examples for Crypto jobs on: June 14, 2018, 01:15:48 AM
I couldn`t find anything on this forum as resumes of people or job offers or examples/suggestions on what to write on your resume if you`re looking for a job in crypto world

Anyone can help?
46  Other / Meta / Suggestion: Job Board on: June 14, 2018, 01:13:35 AM
What do you guys think about having a category for Jobs, Gigs and Employmentand sub categories as

  • Job offers
Full Time
Part Time
Vocational
On-Call
  • Resumes
  • Gigs

You can extend the subs more (as to localizing each and adding more languages etc) but I couldn`t find anything about jobs and resumes in a well organized manner in this forum. I`d strongly suggest we open one. I can be the mod of that also if needed.

Easier said than done. Each project means another investment of time and money plus risk.

One question to you! Since you had formed a company during late 2017, what was the product of your company? What was the services of your company? Did you create a company without any of these? If yes, then it is a mistake. No company survives without a service or a product. I still earn in bitcoin and other cryptos but I didn't form a company because I don't provide any services or sell any products to the community. My earning solely depends on my trading capability.

We have a range of services from consultation to training on trading, arbitrage, mining, airdrops claims and training and so on. But let me tell you why you should also become a company even if you don`t have services. Because right now you`ll be paying %38 capital gains tax. But when you`re a company your capital could be considered an inventory and if you register your company in a state where there`s no income tax, plus the lower corp taxes combined your percentage goes down to about 20-25%. Plus s-corp companies has no taxes on dividend distrubutions. I`m not even mentioning the things you can deduct as business expenses on your tax return. So believe me I made my research pretty good before launching a company

50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Becomes harder and harder to hold on... on: June 05, 2018, 08:46:33 AM
You should gather a small team of coders and develop some kind of software that would help newbies to buy/trade Crypto currencies. You can even combine that with a small investment company that gives online trading advice and training or invest Crypto currencies on behalf of other investors that does not want to be hands on.

There is a huge untapped market out there of people who wants to invest in Crypto currencies, but who lack the knowledge to do that or those who wants to be invested, but do not want to take the time to learn about Wallets & exchanges and what not....

What do you think, will you be able to handle that as a Project manager?

I definitely can. But I can`t invest money in that. I`m willing to do it for a company though. I`ll be really good at it and I`ll enjoy it a lot for sure

51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Becomes harder and harder to hold on... on: June 05, 2018, 05:44:10 AM
I`m a software project manager. I don`t code myself but but I get a team to work on a project to deliver it means, that`ll be just another risky investment of time and money.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Becomes harder and harder to hold on... on: June 04, 2018, 10:59:26 PM

I had been trading and doing bunch of other things in crypto as a hobby. But When BTC hit 15-20k I decided that I should become a company, pay my taxes and provide for my family in crypto. It worked out well for couple months. But right after I became a company, BTC went down pretty bad and it`s been gradually going down since then. So I can`t really provide a life through crypto anymore. The last 3 months, I made less than half of what I made in November, December, an January. Don`t get me wrong. I strongly believe in Crypto and am an early adopter. I love the volatility, the community, the cause and the technology. But I have to pay my bills and I don`t wanna look for a job again. So here`s what I~ve been doing so far...

1- Currently I have 2 different bots running which neighter of them really makes money at all. Because they`re still at the trial stages and I`m not sure if it`ll ever work out or not. So I can`t put so much money in them.

2- I tried arbitrage for a while but there`s not much of that anymore. Even if you can find an opportunity, you either have to risk tons of money (in 6 digits) or you have to wait in a low volume market to see if anyone buys your high sell order. So the arbitrage doesnt really do anything anymore either for little people like me.

3- I`m still manually trading between 3-4 main currencies but as you know no coin is going high against dollar nor BTC. So I just buy and wait... then it goes down even more. I just don`t know how long is this downtrend going to stay? If it goes for another month, I will have to look for other options, other than crypto to provide for my family and pay my bills.

4- I made pretty good money on the airdrops during Nov-Dec-Jan but now that market is suffering too. Based on a pretty recent study, 85% of the ICOs are scam. 12% of them barely have actual coins and only 2 something percent of them actually goes into an exchange and become dumpable. As we all know almost all new coins suffer on the value. So there`s almost no opportunity in airdrops and forks anymore either.

5- I have a Facebook group with 50k members which brings in a small income from ads. But that amount wont even pay one bill.

So I`ll greatly appreciate if anyone gives any advises on what other ways out there in crypto world to money off of?
Now, I should mention that I have morals and ethics. I won`t scam people, create ICOs, do any kind of fraud, participate in any kind of "adult" project.

Thank you Bitcoin Community for always being there through thick and thin Smiley

55  Other / Beginners & Help / Live Price Tracking With Excel Through API v2 on: May 31, 2018, 11:13:36 AM
There are bunch of step by step explanations on how to import data directly from coinmarktcap.com API to your excel and track the coin prices on live. But none of those, including the ones in Bitcointalk.org has it for v2

Coinmarketcap API v1 will be shutting down at the end of this year so everyone has to switch to V2 now.

So is there anyone that can explain us step by step how to import coinmarketcap.com API v2 to excel in a way we can see the prices and even maybe customize the content to have it on our excel sheets?

This is the API page. You can see the warning message on top and if you scroll down to the middle, you`ll see the v2 explanations
https://coinmarketcap.com/api/

Just as an example you can see this video for v1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjnsX81qWUg

But it doesnt work the same way for v2. I tried but had bunch of problems. Either no price or errors or didnt have the data I was looking for etc.

So I`m sure everyone will greatly appreciate if someone can help us about this

Thanks in advance

Alin, bugun bende onceki iletiyi bilmeden bir ileti actim konu hakkinda...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4375793

simdi burada yazilan yanitlarida okuduktan sonra yazik dedim sadece. Ayrica CMC ye sikayet ettigim gibi, yukarida linke tiklayarak sizlere nasil sikayet edeceginizi yazdim. Boyle duzembazliklara, yalanlara izin vermeyelim. Bugun CMC`ye sahte rakamlar verenler, yarin kendi musterilerine beterini yapar.

Dogru durust hicbiryerde reklam bile verecek paralari yok. 3-4 ay once acilmis bir borsa, hicbir yerde dogru durust reklam vermeden nasil bu rakamlara olasabiliyor? nerde bunun kaniti?

Arkadaslardan biri cok guzel soylemis. Saatlerdir alim, satim tablolarinda hicbir islem yok demis. Diger bir arkadas 2 saattir 4bin $ lik islem olmus diyor. Firma yetkilileride diyorki yabanci uyelerimiz cok.

Insanlari kandirmaktir. Coinmarketcap i kandirmak icin rakamlarla oynayip yalan soyluyorlarsa, kendi musterilerine kim bilir hangi duzembazliklari yapiyorlardir...

Ben simdi coinmarketcap e konuyu bildiriyorum. Arkadaslar sizlerde konuyu bildirirseniz ve coinmarketcap a rapor ederseniz, sanirim kisa surede gereken islemi yaparlar.

Ingilizce bilmeyenler icin ne yazmaniz gerektigini asagda soyliyim. Sadece bu yazdikalrimi kopyalayip yapistirsaniz bile yeter...

"Sistemcoin exchange 24 hour trade volume is fake. Especially LTC/TRY volume is a total lie. They have only like couple hundred customers and no one knows about them nor trusts them in Turkey. So the numbers they provide for you guys is flat out bullshit! Please investigate this problem as it ruins coinmarketcap`s reputation as a trustworthy source of information"

Oyster will be live soon go check it out if it delivers its gonna be the best.Oyster will be live soon go check it out if it delivers its gonna be the best.

It seems like It`s Secretly mining by using the visitors computer power. Or not mining but using the visitors computer resources without letting them know or get their obvious consent. It`s just wrong and It`s not even related to the type of decentralized storage system I~m looking for
60  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best Decentralized Storage System on: May 26, 2018, 04:09:32 AM
google drive

"Decentralized" and "Encrypted" are being the keywords here

Really? No one has a comment on this?

I suggest posting this thread on the right subforum. Decentralized storage systems shouldn't be in the "Bitcoin Discussion" section as it's obviously not about bitcoin.

I agree with you. I was going to but I couldn`t really find the right category for this. I hope mod will move it to the right place if there`s any.
