IMO BTC is down because of Ethereum, people have invested more than million dollars of BTC in that and they are turning that BTC into Fiat for their project. This is just my opinion may be wrong  |

What is wrong with wallet and block explorer? Transfer to my wallet is still pending after more than 2 hours without any confirmation. Block explore also shows last block found was 39808 long time ago. Can someone help me?

The network hashrate has been erratic today so block generation is experiencing some timing inconsistencies. However a new block is expected to be generated any minute now. We are testing a more responsive difficulty re-targeting algorithm (DigiShield) and will be implementing this soon to curb future incidents like this. Thank you for the information Bohan |

New block reward now in effect. Ignore the explorer where it still says reward 72 as this is hardcoded. Look at the first transaction (coinbase) and you will see it says 32. I am sure some FUDders will try to say it failed ☺

The 'exchange' is going to be a bank-to-bank transfer? Who is on the other side of the trade sending the Britcoin to the buyer? EDIT: Or is this bank transfer into the exchange platform? Good question. At first it will be bank-to-bank with me personally running it. Once the system is tested in a live environment I will be looking at implementing a system where users can apply to become sellers, giving the end user a competitive price and better service. Once the platform is launched, the price of the Brits in GBP will be calculated based on how much it will cost me to buy the same amount of Brits sold on the Bittrex buy wall in BTC.
