41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What stage of adoption is Crypto currently at? on: March 13, 2018, 12:09:27 AM
Well they say when your taxi driver starts mentioning it you've probably reached mass adoption and my taxi driver did in fact mention cryptocurrency to me the the litmus test failed. I don't think we're at mass adoption yet though. Cryptocurrency seems to rise in bursts of publicity and then falls somewhat flat for a while. It's like repeated dot coms
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1-2 years of Bear Market from now? (or much less?) on: March 12, 2018, 11:05:46 PM
I don't think there is any evidence to that claim. There is also no evidence to say your prediction will not become true but to be quite honest I think the fact we are still around 10k is evidence of a healthy price increase. The fact of the matter is the fundamentals have not changed so I can't see a bear market lasting that long
43  Economy / Exchanges / Re: WHat’s the issue with binance days ago??? on: March 11, 2018, 10:06:59 PM
Their api keys were stolen so somebody used peoples money via binance to pump a coin they had placed a large stake in. They then cashed out and returned the funds into peoples account. Basically a hacked pump and dump
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: March 10, 2018, 08:50:56 PM
I think you being retired is a positive! This means you have more time to research and a little extra research really goes a long way in this industry. Remember bitcoin is only a decade old and most of the current users were only introduced in the last couple of years so there a not many cryptocurrency specific experts in this industry.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the market recover? on: March 10, 2018, 01:22:57 PM
By the end of the month people will start liquidating some of their assets in order to pay their taxes. So we could possibly see a further downside. Allot of the people liquidating will be the customers of hedge funds who got in last year who will not be able to stomach the drops
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin? on: March 09, 2018, 09:52:08 PM
Litecoin is a good choice.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: March 09, 2018, 05:21:47 PM
DIM need more marketing!

No, they need us their investors to be patient that's all, we also nagging. We are never satisfied by anything they do. Let's give these TEAM a break
the great team has been pausing for months. and the token price is as low as a crushed dog . every investor should have bought eth. there would have been much profit. This token is the biggest garbage

Why should the price increase when there is no product? AND why should the price increase when the rest of the market is down?

Good coins can get pumped and dumped too so I won't jump to conclusions
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [🔵] Palm Beach Group Confidential (main thread + vip leaks + access + updates) on: March 09, 2018, 02:41:00 PM
If its too good to be true. Its probably to good to be true.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Is the Binance hack today true??? on: March 07, 2018, 09:06:32 PM
Hi I noticed allot of commotion on my twitter feed regarding a binance hack. Binance have temporarily postponed all withdrawals. Not Ive looked around and couldn't find anything official regarding the subject. It was only a few weeks ago John Mcafee was FUDing binance so I don't want to jump to any conclusions.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin? on: March 06, 2018, 06:28:18 PM
It depends on your overall strategy. What price did you get in? Are you confident enough in your trading skills to short bitcoin? If so you could hold until bitcoin reaches about 13800 where I anticipated allot of money to move back into the alt coins so at that point you could move money into some good alts
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | DARENTA | Revolutionizing the CARSHARING Industry | on: March 06, 2018, 01:51:16 AM
Very cool idea. White parer is detailed and not too impossible
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin affects students' performance in school on: March 06, 2018, 12:52:58 AM
Why not do some research into the subject and teach it to the kids as a lesson to get it out of their system. I'm not really sure how much freedom you have and a teacher but I'd like to use this as a positive. Get the kids on your side but also share some valuable information with them on the dangers of cryptocurrency
53  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Well educated nation is the key? on: March 05, 2018, 11:22:27 PM
I think a well educated population is the single most important thing if living in a democracy. That's probably why the world is in such a bad way now. Too many uneducated people. Even the educated ones are misinformed so the term educated is subjective.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prediction bitcoin in the future on: March 04, 2018, 01:09:55 AM
100k in the next three years because that's how long I think it will take to take 5% of the gold market
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: March 04, 2018, 12:52:48 AM
No but I think it can coexist with state issued crypto. I keep reading about this future and I think it's a possibility
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium Classic - Callisto airdop 5th of March 2018 on: March 04, 2018, 12:22:19 AM
It was crazy seeing the price drop as much as if did recently. I still think it's fantastic long term. The fact you can't tamper with the blockchain in eth classic makes it better than eth imo
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple Vs NEO on: March 03, 2018, 11:44:15 PM
They could both do with some decentralisation if you ask me
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICO'S prefer ERC20? on: March 03, 2018, 02:16:40 PM
It's currently got the best product with the lowest level of entry. I think eth have almost a monopoly on the ICO market for the time being so it also comes along with a heap of infrastructure for the people creating the ICO and also a market of buyers used to using the eth system. Compared to bitcoin it was unbelievably easier to run smart contracts on making the masses flood to their platform but it definitely has competition on the horizon. And the cryptocurrency space moves fast so they could be overtook very soon.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 46% of last year's ICOs have failed already on: March 03, 2018, 02:09:00 PM
I think 46% is allot higher than I was expecting. Most businesses fail within the first year anyway in all industries. The majority of ICO's don't even have a working product, just the vaugue promise of a business. We consider it good if they have a white paper, good team and are active on social media. These are hardly high parameters so money is being given people who in traditional venture capital as totally inadequate. Yet over half have survived the first year in business in a market that is small when compared to other sectors
60  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BEST WALLET?? on: March 03, 2018, 02:02:22 PM
I've found out the hard way regarding security. So I follow some staple sucurity measures know. I store all my coins on multiple hard wear wallets and I also have the private keys written down stored safe. I think for online wallets you are taking a risk but there are a few with less cases of hacks than others. I like my ether wallet. I used to use exodus but the recent hack scared me.
