Apologies for the noob question, but could someone please ELI5 the main differences between SHF and EXP and LSK?
Shift allows you to make DApps that are compatible with Ethereum so they can be easily ported both ways, but also allows you to host them in a decentralized manner, thanks to Phantom. That means, let's say you want to create a casino dapp for example, that's just an example, I don't specifically encourage anyone to do that, but it's possible... And in that case, you don't have all the hurdles you would have to create a casino in real life. Now cryptocurrencies are a grey area in most countries and are not considered as money in most, so it's a sensitive topic I admit and laws might evolve, it's another topic though... In addition, if you wish your players to easily find your casino, you can create a domain name like casino.shift for a small fee. You may think these features are not available yet? Wrong! You can do that right now! (domains are still in alpha phase though, and will be reset once released) |

Hi, download the latest gshift (3.1.0) from here https://github.com/shiftcurrency/shift/releases/tag/v3.1.0, then copy gshift.exe and replace the file in Phantom-bundle-windows\phantom folder. We'll be updating the bundles soon. |

I left ETC to do EXP..which is good, but takes a lot of hashing to pay a little Expanse...I went to shift again (mined it before)...almost none of the pools are working...I went to Bitcause and have 396 Shift 'stuck' there...I see others have abandoned that pool with balances unpaid too. Not sure you can help, but I liked this coin from the beginning...can you get my coins from Bitcause?? Also, now I'm on some obscure Russian pool with one other worker?? Where are the pools? Is this coin just about to die? I searched for ages to get a pool to mine on...hope this one pays out my coins...I don't want to waste another 12 hours mining only to have my coins 'stuck' on a pool...also, Suprnova pool has been 'down' for Shift for over a day doing 'maintenance'...I feel this coin may be on it's last legs...is that right? Please tell us so us miners don't waste our hashing on a coin that is not being supported, but is dying...a list of actual working pools would be greatly appreciated...I see the coin is still listed on Bittrex..which doesn't surprise me..they aren't discriminating in what coins they support. Shift is a coin (like ETC) that I want to like...but seems terribly neglected by the devs and pools.

What is the total number of SHF in circulation? Is coinmarketcap accurate at 7M+?
yes, it is! Two requests please, can you update the website and first page to reflect the number of coin there are and how many there will be (it seems to indicate only 3M), and can you update the milestones that have been completed with dates of completion and add new milestones? Really impressive work so far. It sounds like you've laid a good foundation and I'm anxious to begin seeing apps role out to validate the proof of concept. I am a little surprised that the price didn't surge with the release of the Phantom Alpha, but that's probably a good thing. It does look like it's had a nice run in the past 30 days. Hey thanks for the mention. I will still be making improvements as I find time, I just added some pagination in the address pages for transactions and mined blocks last night.
I will be adding some additional miner statistics and getting the API docs published once I have some time.
If anyone has any other suggestions about what they'd like to see, please let me know.
