Bump. Any response yet? Same problem....

Thanks, that's correct I also called the supplier, they said they are all the same. You pay for the brand/package/stickers/game etc.

I'm mining at the EU server, same problem. Also higher reject, 2.2% normally 0.6%

Same problem here, 10MHz but almost no increase in anything. Still accepting shares..

I tried it without unpowered and had a lot of unexplainable problems. Crashing drivers, low hash rate, high temps. Lots of them were solved when I powered them. You can do this in 10 min yourself Edit: although just 2 cards may be fine. I thought the limit from the motherboard is 75watt.

Hi, I'm going to extend my farm with 2 new miners with 3 x R9 290X. When looking at the prices these cards differ substantially between brands. For me they look the same. Is there a difference between them, the specs seem the same?! - XFX R9 290X 4GB DDR5 (core: 800mhz, boost: 1000mhz, memory clock: 5000) - 500 euro
- MSI R9 290X 4GB DDR5 (core: 800mhz, boost: 1000mhz, memory clock: 5000) - 585 euro
- Club 3D R9 290X 4GB DDR5 BF4 (core: 800mhz, boost: 1000mhz, memory clock: 5000) - 531 euro
- Club 3D R9 290X 4GB DDR5 (core: 800mhz, boost: 1000mhz, memory clock: 5000) - 516 euro
- Sapphire R9 290X 4GB DDR5 BF4 (core: 800mhz, boost: 1000mhz, memory clock: 5000) - 519 euro
- Sapphire R9 290X 4GB DDR5 (core: 800mhz, boost: 1000mhz, memory clock: 5000) - 509 euro
- Gigabyte R9 290X 4GB DDR5 BF4 (core: 800mhz, boost: 1000mhz, memory clock: 5000) - 516 euro
- Gigabyte R9 290X 4GB DDR5 (core: 800mhz, boost: 1000mhz, memory clock: 5000) - 485 euro
So which is the best to buy? Is there a performance difference (I expect around 1000mh)? And what is the difference with a BF4 edition? Thanks!

Hi guys, What do you think of the accepted shares of GPU 2 vs the others. Is this a problem or normal?
|
|
|
Haha, definitely think it's the gremlins: - all 64 bit systems - disabled onboard GPU (in the BIOS right? Or did I forget it somewhere?) - Ram is 4GB, I will try to pump it up yo 8GB see what happens.

I think we misunderstand each other. The photo from the last post is from the rig that doesn't recognise the 4th card (also accepted share problems as you say). The working rig am talking about is a complete different one, it's this one:

Thanks for your suggestion, but could there be other possibilities than power. I tried running them on low intensity and still the same problem. Also the three other rigs run 4 cards high performance but. With respect to the OpenCL problem, how can I 'reset' that? At least its accepted some shares (same miner as above). Also some weird temperature differences:

Hello, I hope you can help me to get my rigs up and running. I have 5 rigs with 4 x 7950 each. 3 of them run fine but I have trouble with 2 of them (same hardware and software). One miner Windows/CGminer just doesn't recognise my 4th card (can't find it in Windows Hardware as well). I already tried a lot: test each card single, test all/different slots, connect then direct to the motherboard/use risers. On another rig I have a setup working perfect by using 3 x 1x-16x risers and 1 x16 straight on the board, this is exactly the same hardware/software. On another miner, one card of the three gives me a 0 speed. Card is fine, tested it on other rigs. Of course I also tried to connect 4 cards on this rig but it also doesn't show up: Stuff I tried: - I think the PSU is enough 1000w premium brand - other rigs run just fine - Lower intensity/config - Rebooting a lot / removing .BIN files - I'm connecting via Teamviewer, so no output is connected to the cards. However, tried to connect HDMI/VGA adapters to the cards to 'activate' them, no success - Latest driver/update Some weird stuff: If I connect only one card to the motherboard (tested all ports) it works fine, just not with 3 - 4 cards. Using CGminer 3.5.0 - here is a config file: http://pastebin.com/3D7r4U0vWindowss 64bit - Catalyst 13.9 - OpenGL 6.14 Thanks!

I'm using Middlecoin for around a week now with around 10Mh/s and it has it ups and down but in the end it's the most profitable pool so far (over Hashcows and Middlecoin). Before Middlecoin I was checking Coinwars/CoinChoose to find the most profitable coin, but everything by the time I switched the pool the profitability was already gone. In my opinion it's hard to decide with is the most profitable - based on past data. But if you have a better strategy, then you should definitely build it, 3% over 4000BTC is a lot And everybody goes where the most profit is, and then you have the problems Middlecoin has right now, too much users...

Hello, I have a rig with 4x 7950. However, in CGminer 1 card is slower every time. It doesn't show any HW errors. Do you have any ideas? Thanks Paul

New Chinese regulation prevents the Chinese people from buying BTC ... dropping large volumes ... probably because all the automatic trading bots have a loss order. Expected to go up but slow, so if you want to enter, this is the moment
