I have trouble syncing my wallet...Tried to delete and install a fresh wallet but no luck, says 2 years behind and will not sync. any help?
If you guys keep mining and get the wallet going I could talk to bittrex to get murraycoin added, ive done this before for another coin....

There is something up with MRY. Before when I hit a block it gave me a different address. Now every block I hit begins with MASFED.
Also, the Estimated total blocks is 689076.
Something is up. I shouldn't be getting the same address every time I mine a block.

I'm bored and have machines sitting here, would someone mind helping me point one of them at MurrayCoin solo mining just for something to do?
The difficulty is 0.05 and nobody is mining this thing so I would like to help keep it going. I downloaded the vertminer and I think I'm 90% of the way there as I see there are no pools left.

So I went to the Bill Murray art show in LA (put together by the same guy who did the Bill Murray art show in San Francisco), talked to some potential investors so hopefully they will get in contact with Brock via the website (I also showed them that they could buy on Cryptsy). Additionally, I talked to a guy online who's interested in professionally producing a Murraycoin video and getting paid in Murraycoin for it so think about some good ideas for a MRY video.

Also, I hate to stoop to this level, but here is another mikeymillie post from earlier today: UTC is cool, it's one of the elite coins that everyone knows "something" will happen with sooner or later. People just have no patience.
UTC value has dropped nearly 20 times more than Murraycoin over the same period yet he made these two posts mere hours apart. Ah, altcoins - overwhelming levels of clever; mikeymillie is so transparent that he no longer exists. Times may be a-changin' but some things never change. This is one of the reasons we need to separate Murraycoin from these goofballs going forward - this forum has become a caricature of itself 5 layers deep. Murraycoin is dead. Brock promised a new website by Jan 21 (along with lots of other things along the way), what happened, nothing. Promises, promises, promises, nothing. If it waddles, quacks, and flies - it's a duck - stop saying it isn't a duck.
I would love to be behind this coin 100% but the developer doesn't even seem to be behind the coin 10%. Last time he logged in was Jan 3rd. He can delete this post if he wants but it would be much better if he actually responded to it. I've put a lot of BTC into MRY and I held and waited. Fusion hash - the only pool - has a banging 5 miners on it. If it wasn't for Cryptsy, this coin would be dead and buried and an airport built over the grave. There are so many zeros in the price of MRY that I have to use a pen / pointer on my computer screen to count them all.
People can say I'm just trolling or FUDing this thread. It isn't trolling or FUDing if it's fact.
Long term investment? Every month in crypto is a year. What year are we on?
I'm going to dump my coins on cryptsy. Good luck everyone waiting for Murray to get on-board, it's ain't going to happen. Murray, who is great, uses a flip-phone and isn't on any social media sites and doesn't plan on signing up. If he's going to sponsor any coin it will be Bitcoin.
Oh brianbbad - you should be the developer. You have worked harder on this coin than the developer. If the developer spent as much time working on MRY as you, the coin might actually be worth more than nothing.
yeah... holzer has done it before, hoping he's "still got it" and prove everyone he can make shit happen. even with a busy 'outside crypto' work/personal life. but it is disheartening how slow progress is....and it only continues. lots of potential here too. I would like to see this happen as well but ALL of the existing MRY coins combined are worth $7,000!! Very hard to do much with that. However with Bitcoin only being $225 each a simple $20.00 injection will drastically help. I have some pre-paid mastercards lying around the house that I may use to inject back into this coin again. Somebody has to do something or they might as well have a MRY burning party like 888 is planning. |

I haven't forgotten about the maple syrup, everyone who was promised some is still getting it (and it's more than 5 ! It's 8 I believe).
I can't imagine why this didn't get sent out a month ago. There's no reason it couldn't happen this afternoon. You should make it happen now for credibility sake. You think after stealing $10,000 for 1% of a pre-mined coin he would at least honour the $3.00 maple syrup!! |
