My doa hashrate in my very small operation is around 1.7% I can live with that. With my scrypt mining asic its closer to 6% and I am a bit uncomfortable with that percentage but not a whole lot I can do about it as everybody running that hardware reports fairly similar.

Since we are not going to get the price he paid out of him. Have any of the other bidders in the auction disclosed their losing bids? That would still give us a reasonable idea what was paid.

Did I read that correctly that a 327w machine needs 6 pcie cables? Wow I am very surprised if so that there isn't a simpler way to connect each blade without requiring a psu with so many pcie output.

I am still watching these machines seems like a reasonable set up. I am waiting to see more end users comment on them however speed / watts/ stability etc.

yes jpc is very resilient I around the current area. Hopefully the mp curse doesn't kick in but hey its been a good ride before. And as i have said in other threads you always need to protect yourself. Lock in your profits then play with the house money.

What do you mean by SB power? I have block erupters and 2 of them can run overclocked if thats what you are talking about 1 of them just refuses. And i have them in a nice cool basement about 18c.

I am also optimistic. Imagine a coin that actually has a market. And its a great concept. There are lots and lots of people not technical that don't want porn bills on their credit card. To the person who said what about bitcoin. Well the people who take this coin can make more money with this coin imo. Remember the premine went to some of these if not all of these websites. So they have a VESTED interest in the success of this coin.

The per-block difficulty adjustments have not been turned on in my opinion. The reason for the big jump is the hash rate jumped so high so fast. It went from about 8 th/s to 120 th/s overnight. This caused the normal block difficulty increase to go up accordingly.

Yes you won't lose that many. If it forked on 45000 you will only lose that block and anything past it until they get back on blockchain correctly. Sorry for any loss though the coins where you make money are far far to infrequent.

From the information we have so far I believe its a yes. Some settings maybe slightly different but it runs on same chips so it should be fine.

Any new updates on the rk-box. Anybody get their rk-box in. Any unboxing photo's. Guess I am just fishing for any new information. I am especially interested to see the final gh/s per watt.

I am so sick of seeing people whine about premine. This dev has obviously done a lot of work. If your worried about pump and dump then protect yourself and lock in some profits. Nobody good is going to work for free or cheap for very long. I want the dev to get rich so he keeps coming up with new stuff to keep the money flowing in. Most dev's dump when they hit a brick wall due to lack of knowledge, skill, or if they assume the price will NEVER EVER GET HIGHER. Please open your eyes. Not just this coin a there are many good coins with pre mine.

I am choosing to be optimistic. Lets face it we are all guessing. I think the price will drop around 50 us dollars on day of auction. I am seeing a lot of people predicting the coins will actually sell for higher than market price. But I feel that could be a bit optimistic.

I believe the exchange btc-e you can buy it with credit cards. I don't believe their information requirements are very severe. I believe their fee is around 5% Also depending on what country your in another choice maybe zapcoin they are all over uk and russia.

Actually the person who suggested scrypt coins was right and xmr right now would be interesting wouldn't it. Can you imagine the forums if all of a sudden the hash rate double lol. It would go bonkers until it stopped then start right back up again with conspiracy theories.

It just goes to show if a company has great gear and isn't desperate for cash why would they sell something they could make more money with? Of course they wouldn't. The only companies pushing out product obviously need the cash.
I realize i am generalizing a lot but still look at the history! Only 1 major company off the top of my head doesn't seem to be doing this bitmaintech stands alone. I would also say the innosilicon miners have saved us all a lot of money by having a bunch of different companies competing with a reference design.

Now I know the price is about to go up. I have 100% proof!!! The fud is starting again. Not sure about DCM and honestly not to concerned I was not thrilled the xbc team was splitting time with another coin to be honest. We will soon have an even better wallet. New and improved forums. And another place to vote :p . We hit bottom a long time ago and there is nowhere left to go but up Steve

First thought is what brand power supply are you using? If your using a cheapo non name brand and even some name brands that could explain your problem. On the back is the psu rated power amps per circuit. I suggest you check that against the power draw of 2 s1's.

rosewill capstones are a step under corsair in most people's opinion. It takes a good psu to run at nearly full rated power. If you hook it up to just 1 s1 and it starts you have pretty much answered your own question A rule of thumb I use (very conservative imo) is 75-80% of the rated capacity of psu is all I use. Remember most psu aren't as efficient at low power draw or max power draw. Sweet spot is 75-85% from my research. Steve

I often suspect the genesis block calculator many quote to say you will not roi. Is no more accurate than the calculators that say you will make a huge amount of money. The truth as usual is somewhere in the middle. I do use all calculators available to me to try to make the best decision available. And its good to have the voice of reason to slow down the dollar signs floating in the air most calculators give.
