Warning: yuluxugi32132, nimiqshitcoin, coinfanatic, andrewjaxx, john.btc, sasha.new, Scamiq, robin.nimiq are sockpuppet accounts, proven liars and FUDers. All of them were only created this year and only for the purpose of spamming this thread (check their profile). They claim substantial losses due to their Nimiq investments, yet fail to provide any proof that they actually invested. Rumors say that they come from another crypto project, assuming they are a direct competitor to Nimiq. Don't expect anything mentioned by them to be true. Make no mistake, this is definitely a coordinated effort aimed to bring Nimiq down. Have you noticed that nearly everyone FUDding has an account that was created this month.
There's only one way for your building to be the tallest building in the city, you can either build it or destroy the other taller ones! This effort to attack Nimiq is the latter.

Would it be more appropriate to allow an exit window for those who want out? e.g. the escrows setup a buy back for a limited period of time where people can voluntarily choose to stay or go. The remaining holders can then follow Imed or Ton by vote.
Wouldn't it be better to just do a complete buyback (or as *complete* as it can be), and then let those people decide whether they want to re-invest in current or future endeavors by Ton or Imed? Both of them could run some sort of crowdsale once the mess is over. This gives everyone involved absolute freedom. I agree 100%. Anything else is just a delay of the inevitable. I know this much: there will not be a Dex by either of them after the buyback. Both Ton and Imed will eventually disappear because of lack of funds. Anyone that wants to back their "candidate" afterwards put your money, not ours, where your mouth is. You can contribute to their projects as you see fit. |

Hey Lauda, do you know approx. the % of funds compared to original remaining that would be used for refunds? Sad to see this project implode after so long but glad there are still some resources in escrow.
Here is a breakdown of the milestones per original post. ---- The funds will be released using milestones defined as follow: - 30% release at the end of the crowdsale. - 30% at the delivery of the beta wallet and first API Cluster - 30% At the delivery of the Beta Validator - 10% At the delivery of the plugin system The funds won't be released until the escrows agree that a milestone has been reached. --- There was a beta version of the wallet delivered but I don't think the API Cluster was ever finished so the question would be whether 30% or 60% is disbursed already. A question for the escrows to answer. |

I will expect the same amount sent from the address returned back to it and not a satoshi less.I will also now expect the matching shitcoin fork amounts attached to that address refunded.
You will receive neither one. If you failed your own due diligence before investing, then that is your own fault.  I have read all your posts regarding a possible refund and all seems firm and fair with the exception of forked coins. What happens to the forked BCH and others that's in the escrows possession? They've have been long liquidated. There are no forked coins in our possession, maybe only Bitcoin Private and some other random ones that I do not keep track of. Thank you for the clarification. Does liquidated in this case mean turned into BTC and added to the ICO funds, spent, disbursed to the founders, or something else? Further clarification is appreciated. |

No dude, it was pure pump and dump performed by TSWR ( a regular investor, not a team member) from his reddit post. It was pure speculation from him and several members who hyped the price artificially. There is no particular reason for the price to grow. No any development updates, no news from the team, nothing. The team doesn't communicate at all and it's been silent for a while. Yet there are people who fall for it. So why are you still around with a hard-on for TSWR? Don't you have other projects to harass? |

By the way: a few members of the community (radiumsoup, TSWR and myself) have created an unofficial NVO discord group. We made it because the slack was full and we felt that telegram wasn't a good option for communication between the community. There's a general channel for discussion which is open to everyone and an announcement channel which is only open for modification by the devs. On the latter, we are copy pasting what the devs of the NVO project are saying on the slack and other mean of communication. This way, instead of reading tens of pages of useless conversations, you can just look up the news from the devs there. We are pretty active when anyone has interrogations, so feel free to join if you have any questions. Why it does not trade on any serious exchanges?
Because the NET token is temporary and most exchanges would rather not invest time and effort into a temporary token. (NET = Nimiq Exchange Token) |

A few members of the community and myself made a Discord for people who couldn't join the NVO slack. On the discord, there's an announcement channel where I try to keep the news up to date with what the devs are saying on the slack. This is an easy and simple way of keeping updated compared to searching all the information in the slack, so feel free to join. Moreover, the messages in the "general" channel from the slack will soon appear in the discord as well, so there'll be more animation if I may say. As of the 08/11/17, : Wallet release date was pushed back as there are several minor bugs to be dealt with. A skype conference call that could have been joined by anyone (Can confirm the things said in this sumary + I was here for the conf call) was made on the 07/11/17 where the devs were showing the wallet and its user interface. They then proceeded to answer a few questions. One of them was regarding the exchange listing of NVST. Apparently, they received a response from Bittrex saying the devs had to choose between listing NVST or XENIO (they asked for both). The NVO team saif they wanted to list NVST and are still waiting for that. No dates or proofs were given so we can't really tell when that happened. The wallet already integrates trading functions and about 20 currency if I recall, of which XCP, ETH, BTC, etc. All ERC20 tokens can be easily listed. There are no deadlines for the wallet except that it should be soon. The project should be fully complete around Q1 of 2018. It is realistic to keep in mind that deadlines are rarely met and are just for information purpose. Just tell yourselves that you will be able to trade by Q2 of 2018 and everything should be fine. As of the 20/11/17: The devs (Nemgun, Marto and Tonbi) joined the slack to answer some concerns from the community. Here are a few things they said. Marto mentioned : "There are no particular issue, but working on the development of a software teaches you one important thing, regardless the efforts you put in the development, or the size of your team, release dates are most of the time rescheduled. Especially during the pre-publishing as there are always last minute bugs, elements you forgot to add, or elements you should change" Ton said that "Yanni (marto) and his team manages only the wallet. The team managing the validator and the tests are handled by nemgun. and last time they were checking compatibility with the packages ". They also added that they did some "compatibility test, it went well, we had a delay because of ethereum but it is resolved". Finally, they said that HitBTC wanted $400 000 as a fee for listing NVST. The devs sees that much money as a waste and would rather invest that amount elsewhere in the development of NVO.io Tl:dr Yes wallet delayed / Final deadline of the project still Q1 2018 / Wallet still possibly released November. LOL if you just held your bitcoin you would be 4x times richer righ now with equal amount of the forked coin to dump which is also priced at $1.5k right now.Investors have been suckers while the bitcoin you have invested now sits in wallets many times more valuable than where it started while NVO token remains stagnant.  ...and you know that because you have a crystal ball? Hindsight is always 20/20. These noobs that can't stomach market changes are better off investing in Bitconnect where everyday is a great day! |

Just to make sure I understood....to use this card, you actually have to pay 1% for every transaction?...meaning, if I buy something worth 1 BTC (let's say it = 4000$), I have to pay 40$ (forty $) commission?

It is my understanding that the merchant pays the fees, not the consumer. Amex charges merchants 3.5% on each transaction. |
