Back to the Mintpal scam. I think this is one of the few projects which was able to prevent those scammers to cash out. I imagine they got a shitload of money out of their altcoins: there was no such control over those funds like there is now.
This should be accounted to the team.
Wouldn't this be an interesting story for any news channel/forum that has interest in Bitcoin/Altcoins? |

Before was my coins listed in the Bittrex wallet as SC. When the wallet was disable, the SC disappeared from my wallet list. The transaction is still listed below "Deposit" though.
Is this normal Bittrex behaviour?

I find faith in SILKs developers and do not see any problems with an obsolete currency is removed from the market, when it will be replaced with a new currency
I have decided to withdraw, not sell, all my coins from Poloniex and wait for Weaver. Developers: would be nice to see any proof that you keep your investments and do not right now dumping it on the market.
Is Silcoin-QT-Win32-1.1.1.2 the latest wallet and is it safe to use?

I've noticed that Evergreen Coin has been performing spectacularly well recently.  Congratulations to the SLG devs who are involved in that project.  Hopefully this means that they have acquired a wealth of experience and technical skill which they can now bring to bear in the further development of SLG. I'm really looking forward to a truly outstanding core-code upgrade for SLG by the end of the summer, one which will launch Sterlingcoin on a similar trajectory to that of Evergreen. Here's hoping!!  Sterling Sentinel Thanks Sterling Sentinel! Yes, much has been gained from the EverGreenCoin project. Matt helped me, Steven, during launch and shortly after but, his focus moved to DRKSLK. Spencer as well did give me some brief wallet consultation, answering some 'dumb' questions I wanted a second opinion on, prior to the Dec 25th 2015 launch of EGC. The gains were reciprocal, as I was proud to be able to quickly point out to Spencer the solution of a small styling issues he had with the DRKSLK wallet. Certainly the knowledge I gained from my SLG colleagues and the SLG community gave me a solid starting point for EGC, for that I am very thankful and do not forget. Yes, I wish to repay SLG for that with the knowledge, contacts, and assets I have gained from EGC. It is actually funny you did mention this, Sterling Sentinel. In a meeting I had with investors of EGC from India, USA, and Australia just ~48 hours ago, they expressed interest in Sterlingcoin. They had learned of my involvement. This group of investors have come to know me well, we meet almost everyday, many have become very communicative with me on social media, and I have gained their trust and they my trust. This is no small group of pump and dump self-proclaimed experts. We have close to 300 participants and we are getting ready to bring in Chinese investors into the group. Their objectives are very much long-term investment strategies, aiding and assisting with the project to grow. All while filling their pockets with EGC because they know I have the commitment and dedication, and now the resources, to bring it all to fruition. Yes, our sights and thoughts are on the same mark and objective, Sterling Sentinel. I too look forward to putting SLG in the ranks it belongs in the coming months. Cheers! p.s. ELI5 please:
Just logged in to my Poloniex account and realized that I had some ETC, if I had understood it right from other sources I have scrolled through this is because of I loaned my coins to someone during the hard fork.
So what can/should I do?
If I sell the ETCs, does this affect my actual amount of ETH coins I have on Poloniex, or are these completely separated from each other?
Can I sell the ETCs for profit without any retaliation, are these just given to med by Poloniex?

Suggestion: Update the OP with collected information from the last 20 posts explaining the conceptual idea. Indeed, the splashscreen itself will create a hype around these coins. Should I buy Silk now and convert the coins or Should I wait and by Slk from the market? No sidekicks out there that can give me some intel about future market prices |

I am honored to inform the community that a partnership has been officially formed between RenewableEnergy.London, it's solar engineers and EverGreenCoin. We do have many projects slated in this partnership. The first to be announced is a solar powered EverGreenCoin staking wallet. It is now in the early prototype testing phase with design changes very much the possibility. We plan to sell this only at the cost it takes us to produce and deliver. We envision a final product that will completely be self sustained and only require it to be in range of a wifi connection as we aim to make a product that will be easy enough for use by nontechnical community members. Follow this link to another thread on bitcointalk and answer the poll honestly.https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1325566.0 hi all ... i managed to get compiled a static version ( on centos 7 x64 ) of the deamon - and have tested the stability of not only the daemon but also the servers systems they are sitting on ... and i am happy to see that they are not only stable - but functioning very well indeed ... as such - i have setup three permanent egc nodes on the granite system and have implemented them as dns seednodes also ... as mentioned earlier - i support this coin - and support the dev and team in the work that they are doing ... so here is my contribution ... i have also forked the code - and changed it to reflect the permanents nodes that have been setup - but have not made a pull request for it be incorporated without the devs consent and / or changes ... the egc seed nodes are as follows - so that ANYONE who has a sync issue can just add the node addresses to the .conf to sync - OR - if the code is accepted and hardcoded into the wallets / daemon - will sync automatically and without issue ... and its fast btw ... test it and see for yourself ... addnode=egc-seed1.granitecoin.com
