i've built a Lite version v1.5.1.1 mac OSX qt wallet.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5j8d4FSc7drWGFtemNKbXFTTDg/view?usp=sharing

---

it spawned at a gratuitous width, so i changed it's resize value to
 resize(970, 675);

https://github.com/Sterlingcoin/Sterlingcoin-1.5.1.1-Lite-Edition-Linux-Source/blob/master/src/qt/bitcoingui.cpp#L85

and i couldnt get rid of the market tab, commenting out the obvious just created startup errors. i'm not familiar enough with the gui to work this out without spending more time on it :p

Thank you so much for doing this. I saw in your signature you advertising OS X builds and had you in the back of my mind if our efforts were unfruitful. I was having success building some other wallets on OS X but could not get all the dependencies to line up correctly for successful compilation of Sterlingcoin. Matt picked it up after I beat my head against multiple VM's and was working on a gitian environment.

None-the-less; this is great news and we thank you. Our OS X users will be glad to hear this and I will test it out. Not that I doubt it runs. I just want to see Sterlingcoin in one of my mac OS X VMs finally. Wink

btw, congrats on Bumbacoin's success at Cryptopia voting.

Just leave it open. The network is strong. It will find connections and sync. Be sure you granted it access through windows firewall if it asks.

Kasper_SKY, if you are still not syncing, I have placed a peers.dat file with 23 connections here. Just copy that peers.dat into your AppData folder, replacing the one that is there. The folder path would be C:\Users\Kasper_SKY\AppData\Roaming\sterlingcoin\

There is also a bootstrap here, if you prefer to go that way. The bootstrap will be faster, however; you will need peers to bring your blockchain current. The bootstrap was made weeks about so, it of course does not contain blocks since then. See this message for further bootstrap instructions.

Sorry I did not provide you with this yesterday Kasper_SKY, I was away from my desk and responding on my cellphone.

Hope it helps and you are able to sync, Kasper_SKY.

Hello all. I've opened a store that sells coffee and snacks in exchange for cryptocurrency - and we accept Sterlingcoin! Please come check us out at http://www.cryptomercado.com - US customers only for right now. Thanks!

(If I get orders in SLG, I may have to download the wallet and get back into hodling.)

Love me some coffee! Smiley  Good luck!

I set up shipping earlier today to Canada, New Zealand, and the UK - but the rates suck pretty bad.

Hi nixon99, see this post for a peers.dat file. The AppData folder on a mac should be /Users/nixon99/Library/Application Support/sterlingcoin/

Hope this helps!

Are our coins at cryptsy lost?

Until they get on the proper chain, it would appear so. I imagine if they do decide to get on the correct chain, we will have to help them reconcile their coins as we did with Bittrex. They may be waiting for the fork to pass. I am really only guessing because my support tickets go unanswered.

FYI, The fork is 365 blocks (~12 hours) away.

Let's open the last tickets in Cryptsy!!

We need them to be on the right chain.
To have a fork is very bad for the coin.

btw, note down how many SLG you have so there are no problems after the fork.

I've had a reply from cryptsy's support 9 hours ago as follows,

Quote
Hello ...,

Thank you for sharing this information. We have forwarded the message to our wallet specialist and we have placed the wallet in Update mode.

We will place the wallet back online as soon as the update is complete.

Thank you.

The fork went perfect. All exchanges besides Cryptsy are onboard. Goining by westloin's ticket reply, they are updating. All the other exchanges had previously been verified to be ready so, no you do not need to contact any exchange.

Many thanks to those who persisted with Cryptsy.

It's very bad for SLG image and also for people who is buying now on Cryptsy.
They'll found they've been buying fake SLGs and they will came here asking for their SLGs.

We need to solve Cryptsy's problem!!!
