42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Bitcoin changed your life for the better? (Those who bought <2017) on: July 07, 2018, 05:04:22 PM
Yes indeed it did and i earned a bit of profit out of it. I needed some cash and btc helped me a lot.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: July 06, 2018, 02:11:20 PM
I think BTC will again strike back and will break all the records once again.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the main reason for india to ban cryptocurrency on: July 06, 2018, 02:08:52 PM
I think lot of black money being transferred in the name of crypto. Govt. could not regulate it so they banned it i guess.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: July 05, 2018, 02:47:17 PM
I think crypto is more volatile. Yes risk is there and if you have a good appetite for risk then go ahead. Otherwise stay away from crypto.
46  Local / India / Re: Welcome to Indians on: July 03, 2018, 02:45:51 PM
Welcome to all my Indians brothers and sisters. Great to see lot of Indians here and I know in Gurgaon, Haryana lot of my friends are into crypto.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto currency ban in india on: July 03, 2018, 02:41:46 PM
The last date is 5th of July and lets see what RBI going to do. Just wait and watch.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto currency ban in india on: July 02, 2018, 06:25:55 PM
Crypto is not banned in India. RBI just pulled banking services from the exchanges. If they do thay, then I think crypto to crypto trading will be there and people might be able to convert their crypro through peer to peer trading.

50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is crashing (And Thats a good thing ) on: June 27, 2018, 10:29:01 PM
Think on the bright side guys, as bitcoin drops the less hackers will make if they hack our account Smiley

If bitcoin keeps dropping at the current rate, then this is the only favorable outcome Tongue I am already not afraid of my account getting hacked Cheesy
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who sells BTC now? on: June 26, 2018, 10:09:27 AM
People which are selling btc now are those newbies who thinks that bitcoin is going to zero or at least going down from the current level. They are trying to minimize their losses but actually they are going to have more losses by selling BTC at this price.

53  Economy / Economics / Re: How much more fall is possible ? on: June 25, 2018, 09:32:46 AM
I don't know it's manipulation or not but the steadily declining price makes anyone panic. I'm really so sick of the bitcoin market that keeps on declining prices, because it keeps my money going down, what should I do? hold or sell? I've lost too much, and I've been waiting too long

Same here. I'm just tired of waiting for market to recover. Bitcoin goes down and takes the whole market with it. I make some profits and reinvest it again just to recover my original invested amount but Bitcoin doesn't let it happen. I've just stopped checking my portfolio from last few days because its just going down and down.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: How much more fall is possible ? on: June 24, 2018, 10:12:04 AM
Unless panic selling is discontinued price will continue to go down further and whales are benefiting much on the low price. We should remain steadfast in being patient for us to have the strength to hold and  bitcoin like before will emerge once again.

People are panic selling because of the market manipulations carried out by whales. They started decreasing the price by putting sell orders and then people are continuing the trend by panic selling and ultimately benefitting whales. So it'll keep going down until you and me and others understand the power of HODLing because ultimately price of BTC will restore, it may take some time but it will.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold & Silver are safe than bank deposits ?? on: June 24, 2018, 10:05:28 AM
Thats the average of 4 years for the piece of metal. Man in crypto we have more than 500% in profits if considered for 4 years profits. It is lot more profitable than anything.

Even BANK, GOLD bonds are very weak in front of the whole thing like that. If we are here then we should really focus on benefits of crypto currencies because there is really one and many to consider for our future. I think no matter what happens with the gold and silver but crypto currencies will always be ahead of them in profiting us.

Banks, always sucks.

Not every person in crypto has made profits. For every person in profit, there is someone in loss. So this logic fails here while if everyone buys golds or keeps their money in bank, they all get same return.

Comparing bank deposits and gold/silver, I think investment in Gold/silver wins as they give more return than fiat in banks.
56  Local / India / Re: People pay your Taxes on: June 23, 2018, 06:01:57 AM
Anyone here who pay taxes for crypto currency?

yeah I would love to if I had made any profits. But since I entered the market, whole crypto market is just keeping on going down. I don't even know whether I'll recover my original investment or not. So no gains, no taxes.
57  Local / India / Re: RBI will Regulate Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in India on: June 22, 2018, 01:43:50 PM
RBI have not banned it earlier , they had issued warning about using them and they said govt. will not be responsible for any fraud or loss its totally up to user ,so they its better to stop using them, but with this statement it was also been said that they appreciate block chain technology and will try to use it in future and build a better digital India.

It was clear from the beginning that RBI/Govt is going to use blockchain in future but they don't support crypto. That's why they are going to stop all banking services to Indian crypto exchanges.
58  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [SECURITY | GUIDE] How to protect your wallets and private keys on: June 21, 2018, 07:16:49 AM
You can use the hardware wallet to save your wallet. You can also use paper wallets. You do not have to share your password with anyone to save your wallet. Do not keep your laptop open when you.

There are places where these wallets are not easily available and if they are, then they are very costly. problem arises when the value of portfolio is less than or equal to the cost of that wallet. What do you suggest then as the most safe option?

You can use desktop wallets or web wallets but keep their private keys safe. Do not store them in your pc unprotected. Store them and encrypt them and also store the backups as you may never know when you'll need them. After encrypting, you can store them on an email, preferably which you don't use for normal daily purposes. Just my two cents.

Hello
I've been meaning to ask somebody about mining and I tried google search but couldn't understand anything. I want to mine coins but I don't know a single thing about mining. Can you please enlighten me on this topic? What kind of hardware is needed that could be used to mine almost all the coins or do we need different hardware/software for different types of coins? What is the procedure for doing so. This question might seem stupid but I would really appreciate if you would reply positively to this. Thanks.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: June 20, 2018, 08:58:31 PM
Joined Crypto currency investing and trading purely to make money so that I could earn enough that my family and I could lead a comfortable life. I have a full time job but who doesn't like some extra money if they can make it. Still learning more about investing and continuing investing too.
