41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in Bitcoin and never invest in shitcoin on: November 29, 2023, 05:39:51 AM
Bitcoin is the father of all crypto currency. The name is an eye opener to crypto, and has brought or attracted many people into crypto currency today. And has continued to stand firmly without fading.

Many turn into shitcoin investor. After knowing about Bitcoin. Unfortunately it didn't work out the way they thought.
I am a tipical example of that. when I heard about Bitcoin how it started from $0.01 to thousands of dollars I thought shitcoin also has that potential. I was working and was investing in valueless coins thinking dey will be like Bitcoin. but never did as Bitcoin. all gradually disappeared. And that made me regret no investing it on Bitcoin then.

Although some people were pretty lucky to make alot of dollars from shitcoin, but mine didn't work out in any ways, so I would like you guys to shear your ideas on this an the possible solution.

Those who have less risk appetite should stick with bitcoin. Because fluctuations in price of bitcoin is less as there are lot of individuals and companies truly believe in this.

But there are some people who have good risk appetite. They can get higher rewards as well by investing in alt coin. Here also, you have to select the alt coin after lot of research and go with coins with solid founders and a good use case.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s $4B settlement the green light for spot Bitcoin ETFs? on: November 27, 2023, 03:59:52 AM
One crypto executive predicted five months ago that spot Bitcoin ETFs would only be approved after Binance lost ground on its market dominance. Binance’s $4.3-billion settlement with the United States was the final hurdle before the country’s securities regulator approves spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), many industry watchers claim.

The settlement to Justice Department and Treasury compliance monitors for up to five years, allowing the agencies sweeping powers to keep the exchange in line with Anti-Money Laundering and sanctions rules, among other things.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has cited market manipulation when denying spot Bitcoin ETFs, and Binance’s market dominance had to take a hit before BlackRock’s spot BTC ETF application would be approved, according to a June X Twitter post by Travis Kling, chief investment officer of Ikigai Asset Management.

Binance is bigger than that. When crypto will explode, the transactions on binance will also explode which will mean that their revenue will also increase by a lot. They can even best top companies in terms of profitability and yearly revenue. 4 billion is not going to end them or make them look smaller. You should always think about long term scenario. I also feel that current CEO might come back on the board in the future when matter has cooled down.

44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: November 27, 2023, 03:55:01 AM
There are some old people in my family which are paying cricket fantasy games. They usually talk about the games and their performance is matches almost daily. It is obvious that if any younger guy in family will listen about this, he will also be eager to know more about this. How can I stop the younger generation in my family being carried away by this and focus on other important things like studies only ?
In order to properly manage younger need to create a suitable environment for them. And in this case those who are elderly members of the family should think about this matter. The younger always try to follow the older. When a family has a discussion about a topic almost most of the time, the kids will be encouraged to learn about that topic. I think if you can convince those members to point out the negative aspects of the discussion, then those people will definitely try to refrain from discussing the game. If they take precautions, it can stop its impact on the younger.

I am one of the younger guys here. How can I instruct older generation to avoid something ? If I oppose them, they term me as rebellious and tell me to shut up.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 27, 2023, 03:53:16 AM
Indian batting destroyed Aussies in second T20i as well. Surya and Kishan both got out on playing balls that should have been left alone.

Gaikwad despite making a fifty, didn't appear confident on crease.

In the second T20 match yesterday, three batsmen in the top order scored consecutive half-centuries. Although Ruturaj Gaikwad bowled more balls to complete his half-century, Rinku Singh reversed his bowling equation. In yesterday's match, although Australia had a great performance towards the end, their top order batsmen failed and Australia lost the match by 44 runs.

India beat Australia in all three formats of the match. Like in fielding , if you see the catches taken by Yahswasvi Jiaswal, he took two very good catches. He batted well as well and seems to be solid material for captaincy.

In batting, India was obviously batter, with all batsmen performing good while in Australia , only two batters did well. Bowling aspect, spinners in India performed best while Zampa was struggling a lot.

47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with crypto because taxation makes no sense? on: November 25, 2023, 04:11:28 AM
If you are paying with crypto, it does not mean that you are free from taxes then. You still have to pay the taxes. Regarding tax filing by an accountant, yes it can be costly. But , I suggest you to learn this yourself. It is not something very hard and everything can be filed online following different online tutorials available on YouTube or Google.

Taxes seem to be unfair to majority of population especially in countries where politicians are very corrupt. But , if everyone decides to avoid taxes, the economy will come to a standstill.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? on: November 22, 2023, 05:37:32 AM
Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? If yes, what had been your strategy ? Do you diversify to multiple games in order to ensure that end result is always profit ?

I personally feel that there are very less chances of making a steady income with gambling. In fact, if you win a big amount in gambling, from there on , you should play games with less on stake and keep the winnings invested in some good option like crypto. It is important to have self control to end profitably with gambling ventures online. Do you agree with this ?
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: November 20, 2023, 07:12:49 AM
Hi guys I was wondering that Bitcoin crossed 37000 dollars is there any chances that Bitcoin bear market over and we might see good greeny day.
What are your thoughts 🤔💭

This gain in price recently probably happened because of this reason

With more positive news expected in coming months, we will only see upside from here in long term.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.P. Morgan Thinks the Big Crypto Rally Is Overdone on: November 15, 2023, 01:13:46 PM
What do you all think about this?
What is the person referred to? An analyst. As some analysts will be saying A, some other analysts will be saying Z. What you can just do is to buy and hold bitcoin and relax because bitcoin is going all-time-high by next year and next 2 years.

Some analysts predicted that bitcoin will fall to $20000 again but it did not happen but increased over $35000 instead.

There are only two possibilities from here: bitcoin is done now or we have bull run in next two months. Be predicting one of these, they have 50% chance of success. Many are bitcoin supporters of bitcoin here and will thus not like this prediction though.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ? on: November 15, 2023, 01:10:29 PM

What are coin accounts ?
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ? on: November 14, 2023, 07:56:10 AM
What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 14, 2023, 07:53:58 AM
Let us discuss in this thread the things one should completely avoid while gambling. Here are some suggestions according to me :

1) Do not gamble in work area : It is not ethical to do so. Your employer is paying you to work for him for certain hours. If you waste these hours for gambling, it is a bad habit.

2) Do not take loan to gamble: Some young guys are so irresponsible that they take loans to gamble. It is a very bad move and can even produce life threatening conditions in future when loan recover agents knock your door.

I do gamble at work yet I think it is super bad luck when doing so by playing slots,at least that happened to me while I am not caring much about the amount of money my company pays me,they pay me the minimum amount to stop leaving the company not a cent more,it is a dream shatter, the salary is the drug they give us to stop following our dreams as they say,so I only not play at work because of bad luck.

I do in fact gamble at work and it is only to place sport bets,I analyse a bit and then place those sport bets in a short amount of time.As for the loan it is always the worse possible thing a gambler can do.

I hope you also earn good in future and start a company. Then when you start managing employees and they play games while you pay them for their time, then you will realize how wrong you are doing now. We never see situation from another person perspective and it causes a lot of problem for both the parties in future. Sooner or later, your employer will find what you are doing at workplace and will fire you.

All forums have different way of operation. This forum also puts considerable efforts to keep accounts of members secure. Like, there is a separate bug bounty program by the forum owner where security researchers can report security bugs. Very few online forums have such a bug bounty program with respectable payouts.
56  Economy / Exchanges / Which exchange has the most easy to use app according to you ? on: November 02, 2023, 03:37:36 PM
Let us discuss on this thread about the crypto apps that you find most easy to use. Based on my personal experience, for international use, binance has the most user friendly apps . There are lot of features on this app that are useful to users like one can convert one coin to another with single click without any charges.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: November 02, 2023, 03:34:24 PM
I was listening to a news that one of the relatives of a person kidnapped him and asked him for bitcoin in ransom. This happened because that person showed his bitcoin holdings to many of his relatives and news spread among them that he has lot of money invested in crypto. Though, finally funds were recovered from that guy but he could have even lost his life in the whole scenario. Thus, you should be careful with disclosing about your bitcoin holdings to everyone.
58  Other / Archival / Re: When did you first learn about Bitcoin and when did you first buy it? on: October 30, 2023, 11:33:00 PM
I first learned about bitcoin from another IM forum. Some members on that forum were accepting payments in crypto but I did not take it seriously at that time. But later, when the price of bitcoin started increasing fast, I also started accepting crypto for receiving payments. I am glad that I took that decision because it benefitted me a lot financially. Thereafter, I also invested in alt coins and made good money with it. Now , for all the advancements  related to crypto , I follow bitcointalk.

Being a member of this Forum, what are the things that you can say YOU have done for the growth of this Forum aside from posting (which is normal) or fishing out scammers/hackers.
I'd like to know because we do have members that have the title (if I should call it a title) PROMINENT dancing by their name, and I just wonder.
What have they done to own that title?
Is it that they have contributed much on this Forum? What have they done or how can we tell what they have done?

The next best thing to posting good content here is sharing this forum with others. This has exponential effect because if people you have shared with also like the content, they will share further. This can result in mass awareness and adoption of crypto. Many here are for other purposes like interested in services. If the forum owner could encourage such members also to share the forum with friends and family, this forum can see huge growth.
60  Other / Meta / Re: How Was This User Able to Buy 550 Merits At ones? on: October 30, 2023, 01:19:06 AM
Very simple, since his earned merit is only 50 merits, it means the rest (500 merits) are airdropped before the merit system. So, he was lying if he bought all the 550 merits at once.

I doubt if he bought the 50 merits, it high likely an alt accounts.

He was a Hero member and then delete all of his posts, so he back become a newbie rank.

Do you work for FBI as a day job ?
