yeah, first I tried to follow every project. Such a simple task which I thought should be easy becomes harder and harder. There are more and more projects shooting up, more and more time is needed to figure out the details of the projects. All the projects together will evolve to form the ecosystem. |

The release of Asset Exchange will only be the first step. Many big stuffs will follows one by one. A lot of things that most people take for granted today will be changed by Nxt forever. We will see the world be changed in front of us. Those interesting in Nxt really should go to https://nxtforum.org/ and see by yourself what the devs have been busy developing. Cool. While the price temporarily goes up, the whales will sell. Scam. A lot of people who buy into that will be left holding the bag like usual. Nxt holders will make money from Nxt but not by persuading others to buy. Yes, some will buy and some will sell as what happens to any other cryptocurrency everyday. However, the key point is that a lot of businesses using Nxt as tools in addition to as the currency will be built, that's where the main profit will come from and why we call Nxt a platform/ecosystem. |

nxt innovation (and I use the term loosely) for innovations sake, feature people don't need or want, if you can't sell it too the crypto community you can't sell it to the public. people seem to think if someone doesn't copy paste and writes their own code that it makes for innovations. ha, try buying a mining rig with 1 BTC and see whether you can mine something. forging income is only comparable to bank interest, don't expect to get rich by forging, just consider it some spam preventing mechanism. |

Well, I saw and heard many comments that claim bitcoin is a scam recently, not a few yeas ago. The distribution of Bitcoin is extremely unfair. So what? Just keep complaining, you will always have companions.
Nxt is more like a decentralized company than a currency. A lot of services will be provided by Nxt and Nxt will derive its value from being used as tools, just as google derives its value from providing the service of searching, Facebook derives its value from providing the service of social networking. So nxts is more like shares of a company than bitcoins. You can keep complaining the founders hold too many shares of the company or you can buy yourself some shares early, that's your choice.
Nxt is actually more innovative than Google and Facebook and the services it can provide is more revolutionary. I personally think it will be as big as the biggest companies in the world given some time (Yes, you can calculate how much 1 nxt will be worth in this way).
The distribution was fair. Satoshi made Bitcoin public on time. It's on a first come first serve basis. The distribution of Nxt was fair, too. The IPO was open for a very long time, every one is free to join it. I was just saying that basing on the complainers' point of view: why you can have so many coins while I have none, it's unfair. I didn't have the luck to join the IPO because I was not there when the IPO was happening. But a lot of things happened when we were not there. We cannot simply call that unfair. There are also people who knew the IPO but just called it a scam. In fact, new shitcoins with much more "unfair" initial distribution are created every day, we can see few people complaining about them because no one cares. people complaining about Nxt because Nxt really matters with the great potential. |

Yes, the same is used in Bitcoin, isn't it? In Nxt u do it manually, in Bitcoin this is hardcoded.
I don't know much about Bitcoin though I read the whitepaper. I only used it to buy Nxt. Edit: Hardcoded well-known nodes lead to centralization. This is just another one of the cases where Nxt is more decentralizing than Bitcoin. |

Hard to answer, Transparent Forging is not implemented yet. Without TF Ix's attacks would be successful.
Are you saying that after TF is fully implemented, the new guy can tell who is the bad guy from the blockchains? How? If anyone sees a contradicting block mined by someone then he will "report" it by including block headers into the blockchain. Then both the branches will report the other in its blockchain. The new guy is still confused. |
