Hi,

Anyone has 2 * S1 coupons for me? I will give the receiving new coupons for free back to community.

Bitmain Name : btcminer

Thanks a lot!
43  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.422 BTC for 180GH/s on: May 26, 2014, 11:35:20 AM
BTC value has increased about 20% the last week, why did the price not drop by that percentage in btc?

I calculated over and over again, with kwh @ 0.27€ and diff increase 15%, the S1 will never ever make the btc back you invested if I have to pay monthly the electricity from mined btc.

What did I wrong? Why should someone buy S1, at least in germany it's just stupid?

Last jump was 18%

I assumed 15% average in the future. If S1 does not pay at 15% it won't pay at 18%.

Moinsen,

... (or dig their own grave even deeper).

The Problem is .. they are already in the grave .. I guess they are bankrupt  Sad

STOP spreading FUD ! BITMINE AG isn't BANKRUPT !!

With ~1870 BTC = ~625.000€ it's not that much money for a company dealing with millions. If they have no other reserves in fiat, I don't know....

Sorry Schinder7, but your logic have serious flaws !
What if Bitmine.ch has another wallet, which isn't public ??
Think for a second: they sold a lot of ASICs, WHERE are ALL the money?
As you wrote, Bitmine AG deal with millions, right ?
Where is the difference from these millions and what's public displayed for the common Joe, less than 2000BTC ?
I will not perform a lesson of economy right now and never again !
I am just a customer who is entitled to receive REFUND + PENALITIES, according to Bitmine AG's ToS.
Therefore I don't care !
And all the Bitmine AG's customers shouldn't care about this too!

Calm down a bit. I'm angry about that shit too. I know that they have sunken large amounts in redesign boards over and over again. This should not be an excuse for them. I'm a customer like every customer of bitmine. I wrote hundreds of mails to switzerland, had a visit there and so on.

I don't know where our money is, I just have no explanation why the delay all the refunds.

If temp rises high ->65 you definetly should install one or two extra fans on the front.
I have 2 x 220V 3000RMP 12" fans on the front and those keeps 1TH desks steady 45C even at turbo extreme, however Im running now turbo light as one PSU gone broken and I think that was because of power draw in turbo exteme might be too high for 1500W PSU?!

My miner consumes 1560W at turbo ultra. I'm using 2 * 1000W PSU's, running stable and hashing @ 1.2 THs.
So it's possible that your 1500W PSU delivers not enough power.

do you guys think is ok to make an upgrade on firmware? or run with old version will be better?

Yes, do the update. Miner runs more stabil, low error rates in different turbo modes as I could see. I'm running with new firmware since it was released and it works fine for me.
50  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 14, 2014, 12:07:19 PM
Got 3 bitmine 1 TH/s desk units. Cant run one of them in anything other than normal (hw errors >1%). One of them runs in power safe mode cuz it produced too many hardware errors in normal (about 5% or more). I have read the ratio accepted/hw error should be < 1%. Some advice?

Did you update the firmware to latest version? http://bitmine.ch/support/firmware/
That should reduce your errors.

Check your PSU, if its only a 1000W PSU (like me) you will not be able to run any turbo mode stable, that's my experience. Attach a second PSU will hopefully help you running turbo modes stable.

1TH Miner consumes <1000W in nominal mode, turbo ultra consumes 1,5 KW currently.

Check your temperature, it should not be so high, what I have seen, the higher the temperature, the higher the errors.

Does anyone know if and what is the difference between a green and a red module?
Opening my CoinDesk yesterday I realized that my compensation module has another color. The Hashrate is the same as the other modules.

Put a second PSU (now 2 * 1000W) to my full populated CoinDesk, set turbo to ultra and it hashes stable at 1.2 THs, consuming lots of power (1.5KW), low hardware errors. Everything seems ok so far.

So it is clear, the delivered 1KW PSU will never supply enough power for the turbo mode ultra as bitmine told me.

52  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 13, 2014, 02:02:03 PM
I asked how serious is his statement. He answered: I hope so.

Typical bitmine answer...
53  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 13, 2014, 02:00:06 PM
I now have the 1th/s unit running at 1th/s and have been assured, by bitmine, that the HCP Platinum 1000w can produce 1500w of power if needed however i cannot find any documentation from Antec that verifys this. I dont know if turbo mode is useable.

I have the same 1000W Antec PSU delivered yesterday. On full populated CoinDesk I can run only normal mode with it. Turbo light dies after some time (couple of hours), turbo moderate dies after a few seconds.

So that PSU seems do not able to deliver enough power at all.....

Support said that I'm the first one of all customers whose CoinDesk doesn't run with that PSU ;-)

Today I attach a second PSU and try the turbo moderate....that should work hopefully.
54  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 12, 2014, 01:36:15 PM
Update from me.

Today I got the missing PSU (original 1000W, not enough power for 4 modules in moderate turbo) and the missing compensation module for my coindesk.
I set bitmine a 14-days timeframe expiring last week on tuesday. Excatly on that date bitmine send me the package with the needed parts.

So finally all went good for me and after hundreds of mails and a visit in switzerland (28-hour journey, 2350 km, 2 hours of sleep, 2 hours of visiting bitmine for pickup -> what a ride!), I'm happy that bitmine delivered me what I ordered.

But overall, I will never order there anything in the future, thats for sure!!!!

Wish you all the best getting your refunds or miners...

55  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 09, 2014, 01:18:09 PM
how is Bitmine compensating the impossible turbo max feature?
They have a contract with Antec for PSU's,
and the max PSU Antec has is an 1300watt PSU.
But I dont think Bitmine has ordered the 1300watt types, but 1000watt instead.

For turbo max I need at least 1500w PSU.
Am using now 1300watt and its getting awful hot with turbo max.
I see also that speed fluxs up and down, just like it cannot run stable on
the power it needs.

I dont mind if they sent me an extra module in the CPP desk.

I'm in your boat! I have 1000W PSU and cannot run moderate turbo with 4 modules. Need higher PSU.
I'm waiting for a compensation module because of turbo also.

No answers, no nothing....for 3 weeks now.
56  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 09, 2014, 12:36:47 PM
I received e-mail from BITMINE yesterday(8 May), and been told my order is planned to be shipped within a week from yesterday(8 May).and my order status on your website is changed to "completed",2 days before 10 May(on that day I can request my refund) Cry...... I don't know what to say...
@giorgiomassa , I know maybe you still not ship my order right now because when I check on UPS with the tracking number, the shipment is still not moving in UPS network??...

I have waited so long here...now ,you reject my request a refund from you just because of the 2days...........

Now, I have to say, please do ship my order right now...Hoping I can received them next few days. ..

All my chinese business partners were watching on your company(BITMINE) from my case..a failed case ...

At least you got an answer. Be happy. My mails are ignored for now 3 weeks. Still missing compensation and PSU. No reaction, no nothing....

Thats bitmine, king of scam...take your money and returns you a load of shit.

I'm now planning to visit their facility and if needed file a local police report. Anyone visited their facility lately and/or having the same plans? For people who have visited their facility more recently, are they still located at this location?

Code:
Centro la Monda 2
6528 Camorino
Switzerland

Please send me a PM so we might join as a group.

Yes, the adress is correct and they are still in that building. I have been there early april.
First I could not find it at all, had to ask some people walking around. They told me that bitmine has changed their location IN the building, now they are on the first floor I think.

It's just a metal door with a pencil written bitmine on a small paper, thats it.

Wish you all best luck there...
58  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 06, 2014, 01:21:15 PM
Yea they are late, but I am sick of these "scam"-comments, driving all the other customers crazy and worried about their money. In my case everything went according to ccp, so I cannot really complain about it, even if an earlier delivery would habe been nice.

So lets hope they won't deliver a package of rocks!

Cheers.

I wish you all the best with your miners.

The facts are I got a miner, wrong PSU, missing a module missing money. I always gave bitmine a chance, but they ignored everything.

So if they keep remaining money from me, deliver my machine that I did not order and ignoring mails from me...it's a scam, they have my money and i didn't get the miner I ordered. It cannot be said in other words. Thats it.

How do you call it?
59  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 06, 2014, 01:03:53 PM
So, my timeline set for bitmine to react is about to expire today.

I contacted the procuratorial in switzerland and will have a talk to them tomorrow as they said. They will do the rest and investigate bitmine.

Have fun bitmine....you didn't let me any choice, so I cannot go another way.
60  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 06, 2014, 12:30:01 PM
Gotta say that every email I have ever sent to Bitmine has always been answered the same or following day.  Even when I requested a refund, my email was answered quickly and professionally.  However, since then my last 3 emails asking when I was going to get my refund have gone unanswered.  The 30 days are now up and the email asking when I could expect my refund has also gone unanswered.

@girgiomassa, From reading some of the messages in this thread I can see that the non payment of your customers refunds is a growing problem. Please don't just stick your head in the sand like you did with the hardware issues. Please take just 5 -10 minutes out of your schedule, put finger to keyboard and come on this forum and tell us what is happening with regard to our refunds.

Do not expect anything from this company. Currently they post nothing in forum but keep reading it. Support is not allowed to answer questions regarding refunds, missing parts or compensation...even personal messages here are ignored from giorgio.

If you want contact to bitmine, you have to place an order again. With fresh money coming in bitmine, there is a chance that they will answer your questions ;-)

I'm waiting for 3 weeks now for an answer about changing my PSU. They delivered me the wrong one, so I cannot even run the so called turbo modes at all.

But bitmine does not care about it. They take money from customers, made promises they never could hold, and now when the miners are delivered (missing parts, missing compensations) they just ignore you...

I was happy with communication with bitmine until the point they delivered me my "order". I didn't get the ordered miner at all, I got a miner with less power (hashing and PSU).

So what does bitmine expect from scammed customers? We have to go the hard way....
