41  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: September 29, 2018, 11:20:23 PM
I wouldn't actually encourage anybody to quit ICO as it remain the strength of new coins. Come to think of it, if we all decide to quit the ICOs, how will new projects emerge and survive?
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold On for Dear Life on: September 28, 2018, 09:11:02 PM
Hold On for Dear Life = Bitcoin's strategy to hold by moving a number of assets into a Bitcoin wallet - to stay safe until it's decided to use it or sell it.
Investors who put their money in digital currencies like Bitcoin must be patient to face the fact that the latest trends show a decline in cryptocurrency values. Even so, this does not necessarily make Bitcoin owners panic and rashly release all of its assets in digital currency.

Increasing and decreasing markets are reasonable because they prove that the market has many fans and the market is very active. Some people cannot tolerate the rise and fall of the value of Bitcoin. "If it makes you see the roof at night for no reason, it's better not to have it at all." that's what I think.

Undeniably, digital currency is the future. You have to prepare it for years, we have seen how much the initial price of Bitcoin was launched, until now.

The following is a graph that shows bitcoin prices from 2012 to 2017

I will still hold the coins I have, and still trust in Bitcoin.

This is a good decision for you. You have to hold for life and as long as possible. Since we are now almost certain that digital currency is the future, it will be a good risk saving your assets in Bitcoin or digital currencies.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Germany recognized the bitcoin on: September 28, 2018, 08:52:25 PM
The Ministry of Finance of Germany signed the Decree on recognition of bitcoin  legal tender.  The document specifies that purchases made for cryptocoins, are not taxed! What do you think about it?

This is a very wonderful recognition for Bitcoin in Germany, a member of the G8 countries. That means we are pretty safe with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: September 28, 2018, 08:47:34 PM
So you have being wearing a signature for more that ten weeks. Each week you made more than 15 post on different thread on this forum. And just when you done with the campaign you have been asked to keep the signature for three more weeks while wait for stakes to be calculated. After stakes are calculated, it takes more than 3+ weeks for tokens to arrive in your wallet. and a month for the token to go on exchange. On exchange, all your token is worth for your hard work is just less than $50.
How do you feel?
How will you react?
This your narration is a very frustrating experience. I would have preferred a situation whereby the token your are carrying the signature gets listed within two weeks of completing the bounty campaign. I don't like the long waits.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I? on: September 27, 2018, 10:22:50 PM
Hi I just got some extra money and I'm looking to invest, I want to invest in BTC but the price is too high for me,  what do you think will be the next BTC
one you can buy low and make a good profit when it burst?

You don't need too much questions about this. There are so many promising coins you can try such as OAX, Ripple and even Waves. I am sure they will all give you good profit.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment. on: September 27, 2018, 10:20:34 PM
Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment.

I have send email to some companies in the UK to ask them to add Bitpay as a payment option.

Let's start an Operation Bitcoin. All of us send emails to companies to ask them to accept bitcoin.  Smiley

What you have just started is a very great initiative and I am very certain that if we all follow suit by sending as many emails as possible to companies especially the ones we already have transactions with to accept Bitcoin, it will aid quicker acceptance of Bitcoin worldwide.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think ICO investors are Decreasing? on: September 27, 2018, 10:16:45 PM
I think ICO investors are decreasing day by day. Many well rated ICO projects can't make even the soft cap! I think this fall of ICO is happening because of the lack of investors! And many Investors stopped investing because of the bear market. What do you think about this?
Of course the ICO investors are decreasing drastically. That is why the ICO stages now take a very long time to be completed as compared to before even last year.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: September 27, 2018, 10:14:52 PM
Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.
What's your thoughts on it? Should I hold now?
Things are really going very well with Ethereum which is why I think it is very good for you to buy and hold for later time in the far future.
49  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: September 27, 2018, 10:12:35 PM
The risk in the virtual currency market is the risk of losing some or all of its capital when the investor performs the investment or virtual currency transaction. Identify the risks before conducting a transaction, helping them to know the specific loss rate in each case of investment will be how to, minimum and maximum how to decide the scale of investment, the first time investment, time of investment completion, and other relevant factors.

You can actually try your best to mitigate some of the losses that you may incur from your cryptocurrency investment. One of the best way is to ensure you invest in legit ICOs and then monitor the general market to know when to sell or hold.
50  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of fake profiles of ICO team members on: September 25, 2018, 04:59:24 AM
You should only invest in ICO team members which have linkedin. Because they can not create fake profile with linkedin.
What makes you think so? Linked is just like every other social media platform. Whatever profile created on linked in is never going to be verified by the management of LinkedIn, and as such, they can create a fake profile and as many fake followers as possible. The money to make from the ICO is huge, they can part with a little to employ someone to open as many accounts as they want. It is very easy.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have to make big investment before you can make profit in crypto? on: September 25, 2018, 04:53:18 AM
You must not make big investment before you make profit in cryptocurrency. What you should be aware of is that whatever profit you make will be proportional to your investment. The onus is on you.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: September 23, 2018, 08:39:14 PM
But higher risks brings higher profit too. It's not new to us already that bitcoin and cryptocurrency investment is a very risky investment. Only those who are willing to take the risks of losing are also the ones worthy of earning a good and high profit.
It is quite true that the higher the risk, the higher also the profit, but it is not enough reason for one to invest everything in cryptocurrency.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wish! I wish!! I wish!!! Stop always wishing You bought Bitcoin in 2009. on: September 23, 2018, 10:00:24 AM
If wishes do come true then i think my wish should have taken me to my dream.its a good thing to wish but a dream without work aint gonna result to nothing so i think ya'll should stop wishing.if you couldn't buy bitcoin in 2009 does not mean you can't buy in 2018 because bitcoin is always here to invest, thanks to the rise and fall so u can always buy so stop wishing and start investing.
Yea. That's right. Just wishing can never solve anything. The best way is by working towards a dream if you want it to be actualized.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: "10 Common Mistakes We make with MONEY" on: September 23, 2018, 09:53:35 AM
I know a number of rich people and they all say the same thing: make sure that things you buy will be working for you. Like if you really want to buy an expensive car, make sure it's a rare, vintage model. Something that won't lose value over time. The worst thing you can do is buy a Ferrari that will cost a fortune to maintain and every paint scratch will make a dent in your wallet.
This is a very great point from you. Often at times, you see people buying items or properties they don't necessarily need, then they start struggling to either maintain it or pay tax on it. I think that is a shear waste.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: September 22, 2018, 06:52:17 PM
I can say that the number of Bounty hunters who are ICO investors are very few. People usually choose the bounty option as a means of holding the tokens rather than buying iy during the token sales.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold. on: September 22, 2018, 06:50:18 PM
Yes of course, this is very true. Even if you bought bitcoin at $20,000 and the price of Bitcoin is currently $6,600 and you still refused to sell, you have not lost anything as long as you are still holding the amount of Bitcoin you bought.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: September 22, 2018, 06:47:24 PM
It is almost impossible for anyone to invest in BTC without the willingness to take risk. Everything about bitcoin and cryptocurrency is tisk taking and therefore anyone not prepared for such shouldn't get involved.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using cryptocurrency as payment method in sports is key to mass adoption on: September 22, 2018, 08:53:12 AM
Using cryptocurrency in sports just like it was somehow experimented in Russia will quite interesting. Almost everyone one on earth has interest in at least one sport or the other. If Crypto can be used in transactions from ticketing to sports wears, it will someway, help to promote cryptocurrency.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wish! I wish!! I wish!!! Stop always wishing You bought Bitcoin in 2009. on: September 19, 2018, 11:42:36 PM
Thank you so much, people should stop dwelling in the past make the most out of it now, no time is too late for you to start investing whenever you start is the right time for you and stop killing yourself over what you cannot change.
Yes of course. There is no point of one trying to kill himself over what he or she cannot change. It is best to just see what has happened in the past as a life lesson and focus on any other opportunity. It is never too late to start investing.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: September 19, 2018, 09:37:39 PM
... or force the traditional banks to reduce their ridiculous interests rate which we have been robbed of for decades now.

What is your take on this and what do you think will make governmental bodies to finally accept crypto?
I think this may probably be one of the reasons. You should know that even our governments too are very selfish and what ever interest the bank charges you, a fraction of it is returned to the government through their central banks.
