Some community support is needed to help us to achieve more exchanges

ok so now I see it *(the exchange while trying to load stuff is hitting my peerblock wall which means they are using something malicious, asking for details off my machine that are not even needed to log onto their site, like user names and such. I am tracking it all right now something called digital ocean amsterdam and savvis. what is this nonsense. why do new coins have to have so many scams tied to them?
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PEN] - Binary options in progress. on: February 13, 2015, 09:39:10 PM
the one and only exchange is screwed up cause it keeps telling me I need a nonletter or digit in my password and I know full well I am using a number (digit) in my damn password, (also using a capitol letter too since it flagged me on that earlier) but nothing is going right for it, so they need either to fix it or we need to realize that it is a damn scam

I guess the most important thing is working with the exchanges so that things like craptsy throwing the coin wallet there into permanent maintenance mode does not kill the coin, too.

The marketplace, Steps, gift card section and Pay are not going anywhere. The Marketplace is currently getting an overhaul first.

I'm not jumping ship. The focus is still on crypto services. I just stated I was done being held solely accountable and responsible for a global cryptocurrency with approx. 10,000+ wallets (I think it was?). Especially because the direction it is taking is not one of my choosing, but still one I support for democratic reasons.

so this means (for clarification for others to know,)

you will be assigning positions to others?

stepping down? (my guess is this is a no, since you said you are not jumping ship)

continuing work on your goals and letting others shoulder other things like POS /POS-II if they are willing to do so? (this is what I am taking from this personally Smiley )

I still want to hold a more indepth discussion with you on what I wrote you about.

the market place needs something that nowhere else it can be gotten, we have a chance at that if people want to talk seriously to me about it, most of what I need are old spare parts that people may be dumping and throwing away cause the tech in it is no longer suitable for the needs of the people. or is broken in a way that actually benefits my project. Anyone seriously interested in talking to me about this just contact me here via PM or over on the IRC channel, as I want and hope Rofo gets a chance to chime in and we can all have a round table discussion about it. open to all, of course.

what my wonder was, is if it penalizes you for having a huge wallet staked, what would stop you from making dozens of wallets and staking them all with smaller increments ? and if this was possible would it not help to at least appear to be more stable and safe to everyone else since no one would automatically know how many wallets one person was in possession of? meanwhile a person who heavily invested in noble would still be fine with making profit off staking.

oh yeah it should also be noted that there has been an enormous amount of FUD being spread in the real world having NOTHING to do with bitcoin with one exception, it has caused a lot of panic buying of various things (guns before gun bans, meds and supplies before an expected outbreak, remember the ebola scare?) gas stocking up or fear of it going back up so people holding money they did not have to spend when it went down in price, so they could be ready for it to skyrocket back up again, so this has seriously been draining the investment capitol to crypto and other investments draining the money inflow from investors, and only having money coming in from utilizing entities, whom are going to actually use the bitcoin and other alts they buy, at some point all the FUD should end for a while and the market will spring back to life everywhere not just bitcoin or gold and stocks.
52  Other / Politics & Society / Re: HOW WILL THE COMING ECONOMIC COLLAPSE EFFECT BITCOIN? on: January 19, 2015, 09:44:56 PM
how do you think it will effect the community if a coin (not bitcoin) is supported by a 3D printer technology that is able to print out ICs and other components on electronic devices as well as the boards, copper traces and structural (plastic and metal body parts) of products,

just as an example, we have say megacoin that someone puts a 3D printing company together that only accepts megacoin, or possibly they do some hybrid thing where you can send them x amount of scrap copper for a part, megacoin, or you can pay double what the megacoin is worth in fiat directly

so you have a circuit board you want to buy that is 20 bucks (could be an ASIC you designed the chip for or a cell phone or what ever)

you can either spend 20 dollars cash or the equivalent in euros, pounds steriling or what ever OR

you can spend 10 bucks on megacoins and pay with them instead, saving 10 bucks for your trouble of converting over to the coins.

or finally you can send 25 dollars scrap value worth of copper, or zinc or aluminum, or any combination thereof to the company and they ship out your $20 circuit board complete with components printed right on the board

thoughts?

and finally as this grows in recognition how do you think it will effect the world in general? we often fight over energy and other reasons cause they can make money off it, but if a sudden change in direction say to production of solar cells that cost say 2 cents each to make what would currently cost over 10 dollars to make (I am talking 10 dollars in china vs 2 cents in china) and cost that much less energy to make them too.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you are waiting for the "despair phase" to buy like in 2011 consider this on: January 19, 2015, 09:18:23 PM
there are two things I see here, in the last year, one is we are on the backside of a 4 year bubble and all the "bubble prices" we saw before were just bumps in the road, and when this bubble ends, a new one will begin, mainly because the device in question has usefulness just like others have mentioned with the internet. we will see another dotcom bubble and another housing bubble, as well as another damn government fund bubble (quantitative easing) after these all have crashed and recovered, everything goes in cycles, the question is when it is falling and good to buy now, how long can you as an investor hold out. if you can do it for quite a while, then you stand to make a fortune, but if  you have to get that investment back in 3 months or 6 months, then I have bad news for you lol.

the one thing missing from bitcoin right now (and all other cryptos) is a solid exit strategy from crypto to real world product, with out having to go through fiat, and since very few exits to fiat (your bank account) exist other than the most popular ones like litecoin and bitcoin, you are going to see all the others value's tied to the ones with the exit strategy, we need one for materials and goods as well as labor produced goods and energy. do not forget an exit to energy. everything from cars to machine shops and manufacturing plants require energy and it effects their production directly, (ie pull the plug and everything comes screeching to a halt)

so I see (and am involved in some serious) production being developed that will mount on crypto's solidly. meaning it will be far more expensive to buy product from them with fiat than it will be to buy with scrap materials used for the production, or crypto instead.

The issue has been discussed in circles over and over again - I agree that higher interest vs low interest pros and cons become less relevant with time. The primary issue is actual usage and adoption which cannot happen without some form of mainstream recognition and connections to the real financial world.

I would support #1, with exact % between 5 and 10% that we can agree on.

this is exactly why I was reaching out to Rofo. Hopefully I can get a dialog going with him and others about how we could realize this process.

Usually the fastest way to contact him is pm or IRC private message.

Im really curious about your idea now.. Wink

yep that is why it stated that I sent him a PM already lol. as for the idea, it will be coming to fruition either way, but I would love to use it to help out the most "noble" coin as well as change so many other things too, that it will inherently effect positively Smiley

Hi morphtrust,

rofo is taking a much needed break from crypto at the moment. Hopefully he will reply to you in due course, but if you feel like you need to discuss your idea (and we are very interested in it) either PM eagleflies, myself, voephilisI or kresu or join us in #noblecoin on IRC Smiley

his email:
info@jasonlcurby.com

Thought there was his telephon number, too. but I can't find it anymore.

who's info is the email addy for? Rofo?

@rofo

I sent you a PM to see if you are up for a discussion (voice on something like skype or I can call you at a phone number, up to you) about some tech that could help add physical support to just about any coin, however Noble would be the one in current existence I would rather support than any other honestly, from our dealings in the past you have definitely proven yourself beyond what anyone else in the industry has up till now, (not saying anyone else is not out there, just saying I have not had personal dealings with anyone myself that is as stand up as you)

you can message me here, or on skype (architct is the USER name there, and should show up as Thomas A. Anderson when searching that name) same name can be used on google+ too, just look for a guy in dark goggles and a tophat, you remember my goggles I am sure, so...

to all others, if this idea I have and tech I am working on, is brought together you can expect to see the fecal matter hit the rotary blades in the crypto-world lol.

looks like coin is dead, time to dump everything you have, I just noticed that since the 18th all my mined coins are just vanishing when exported to my address, and not getting there, then when I go to the block explorer to look at the txID it says "sorry this is not on our server" and "sorry not found" Wonder if the people setting this back up were responsible for pump and dump with them or something, reviving dead coins then selling off what they have after buying super cheap cause the coin was dead, or something
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PYC] Paycoin - Going to be hard forked soon! on: December 21, 2014, 01:09:32 AM
so is this the same one as that paycoin that Gawminers is launching or are they ripping off the name of this coin?
