Although there is one screen where the subnet mask is 255.255.240.0
FYI - Your subnet on all your devices should be the same.

Try downloading and running this free software. Its safe I use it all the time. http://Advanced-Ip-Scanner.comThen run it and see if you can see every IP on your network

The issue is I can't get to the miner settings. After the miner boots I can't log into it. The LCD screen shows the IP address - 192.168.1.99 - but it never appears on my network and the lights on the ethernet port never light up.
Is there another way to get to the miner settings? Are they on the SD card that I can access?
Do you have more than one showing the same IP address of 192.168.1.99? Are they both on at the same time??

Are you using static IP address or DHCP on your miners? Is your new router setup the same as the old? I am sure we can help you, just need more info. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Tried to share something I found that works for me, didn't make any money on this, just sharing. Some people are just too critical and suspicions about everything. NEW SHARING RULES FOR THE FORUM
Must be ONLY FREE. Works by magic. Someone else sets it up for FREE. You make lots of money from it. No effort on your part what so ever. No reading needed. Only a hero member can post anything of value. LOL ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I give up.

Your not reading the whole thing here, maybe go back and start over. What you are listing is fine for ONE outlet, OK great we all get it and have it. What I posted and yes I have no skin in this game, no profit to make, just posting the info, is a device that goes in your breaker panel and monitors all the electricity for your WHOLE house, not just your mining units one outlet at a time. Read people read!!! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

What the heck, I just ordered 3 S3 units.
Hope they will arrive quickly.
Will be adding my review in July.

I wonder what the better buy is here now that the S3 is out? BTC Garden seems to be doing a good job. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=661116.0btcgarden-AM-v1 @ 616 GH for $690 or Bitmain S3 Any comments on this? Are you still buying an S3 at this time? Anybody get coupons for the S3 yet? I have none.

Im using a standard PSU over sized but thats what i had in hand EVGA 1300 with 8 Epower 450w juice box they have 4 PCIe connector each and run smoothly
Those box sells for 29$ each on Neweggs.canada and 24$ on neweggs.usa
The main power supply is used to power the relay inside the juice box so it could be an El cheapo PSU with molex or just a custom wiring that brings 12v to the Juice box connector
Note: S1 @ stock clock 180ghs
Enjoy the info.
Is this it??? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817101044

Tried to flash the S2 today. All I get is: tar: invalid magic tar: short read cp: can't stat '*': No such file or directory This is after I extract the file to a new folder. What is the name of the extracted file? Mine is this: initramfs.bin.SD-20140619 Do we need to modify the file? I have done these on router before not sure why this is not working. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Yeah, Don't extract the tar file! This is because our more knowledge! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I did the same and gave the same error! use the same tar file and that worked for me! That worked! Thanks for the info. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Another issue is coming up on these last 2 S2 units. If I reboot them for any reason, they lose their mind and reset to factory. Any idea why??? Sorry if someone else posted this problem, sent an email to Bitmain and waiting to hear back. Thanks Rob ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

This is indeed a sad day. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) After 25 units ordered from Bitmain and all running perfect, I have to report to them my first RMA. I just got in an S2 that works for 1 hour and then turns off and resets. Not heat as 2 others next to are just fine. Ok, guys wish me luck. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Rob PS. Also anybody seen the same thing on there S2? Power supply maybe???

I will go with 2.
Thanks for doing this.

I have 2 of the S2 units and 4 on the way. So I really like the quality of my S2, solid case, easy setup and just gets the job done. I can't help thinking the way they built this thing with 10 cards all in one power board, there going to be releasing upgraded cards so you can make your box hash faster. Just my guess. I don't own a dragon miner, but when I read about it and look at the pics, it looks cheap. Hope this helps. Rob ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)
