This coin isnt dead! We have a great community and big investors
There are 4M of ICB, its a low quantity, the price will rise!

 Grin Grin

Dev raises AT LEAST 100 BTC in less than a week with a non-innovative coin with no future plan in place.  Yeah.......he's not coming back.

A little buying is happening, as the same as a little selling was happening the last few days. This indicates when there is just a active team ready to take the coin over that it will again trade at normal levels.

2BTCs and we are at 2000sats again...

On cryptsy we are already at 1997 sats

I really like this coin, sounded korney until I read up on the NIST5 algo- now the name makes sense.
I threw my .5 btc in! +1 on a new dev team.

Who cares about the N1ST5 algo right now?  It only mattered for the PoW stage, which was a whole 5 days?  That was the extent of anything to do with the "ice" cold algo.

waste my hash Sad((((

Quit throwing your hash at new non-innovative terrible coins!

So I am supposed to compete with farms or rented rigs that drive the diff up like crazy? High Diff for them is nothing, but it kills any chance I have to mine any amount of coins worth trading.

You can either mine good innovative coins and get less of a reward or keep looking for new coins and try to get in early and hope one blows up.  Seems the way of alt coin world right now.  It's why every shit coin that comes out gets attention.  Everyone looking to make a quick buck.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] XCloudcoin File hosting | New Features | Presale on Bittrex | PoS on: July 27, 2014, 03:04:03 PM
^ Haha really what is that?

Ok if bittrex has all your documents can they come here and verify that so incase you bounce with 500btc the crypto community should atleast know who to blame because they'll never blame themselves for throwing away their money at anonymous IPOs

People only have themselves to blame for throwing money down the drain.  People don't learn.  Everyday a new IPO where people blindly throw money to an anonymous person with an idea and nothing to back it up but a few pictures.  It's insane!  Most of them time they blame a) the exchange b)the dev and rarely...c) themselves.

If an IPO was done right the wallet and services would come out first so everyone knew what there was and what they were dealing with.  They could test usability of the wallet and get a good firm feel of what the future of the coin was really like.  10K sats upfront per coin in an IPO is absurd.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] XCloudcoin File hosting | New Features | Presale on Bittrex | PoS on: July 27, 2014, 02:24:46 PM
Lol another 100% IPO coin from a dev with a brand new account.  Dev valuing his coin at over 100K sats per share!  A coin that's not even out yet but has a value of $300K!  Lol I feel bad for the suckers already who are planning on buying in.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICB] IcebergCoin ❄︎ FIRST NIST5 POW/POS ❄︎ NOW 100% POS ❄︎ on: July 27, 2014, 07:01:07 AM
I dont like takeovers. What if the original dev suddenly pops up back again?
I dont know him, he might as well have some personal issue's right now. His wife can be dead, or whatever reason.

Anyway, if i don't like the new plans, i'll dump 48% of total existing ICB coins at 1 satoshi each  Grin
It's good to see people motivated to keep this coin alive, but i think it's more just because they invested way to much in a coin who's calculations proved that 8000 satoshi was WAY to high.

Scroll back to my original posts in this topic, initial calculation showed that a "normal level" would be around 1500 satoshi.
That's not calculated with a runaway dev or a takeover... So right now, ICB is fine where it is.

Let all the people dump it first, to avoid getting slammed by the sell wall when price goes up again.
The only coins left on exchange then are those of the people who invested in them, and are not going to dump for 1000 sat.
Keep this price for at least another week, or you efforts are lost even before you started.

Do you really think that DEV will come back? DEV told that he had a team of 15 people, i'm sure that not all 15 people wifes dead on the same day, don't you think?

Please wait for dumping your 2,000,000 coins, i'm pretty happy to buy all of them at 1 sats Wink There has been some nice buying on cryptsy...

Anyone who believed that there was more than 1 person, maybe 2,  on the dev team is an idiot,  The coin had no innovative future and wasn't for off an exact replica of another coin.  15 person dev team. Haha that's just hilarious.

Are you the dev?  lol registered your account after the PoW and ICO was over, only posts in ICB forum......hmmm

Another non-innovative "place" coin.  How many others have been worth it? New York coin? Florida coin?  Aurora coin? Asia coin?  California Coin?  States don't NEED individual coins.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DISTROCOIN X11 / WALLET UPDATE / DEBIT CARDS SIGNUP / APPLE IOS NEWS! on: July 26, 2014, 09:41:43 AM
We will be releasing the jailbreak version of the iOS and we have other people working on projects for the coin along with ourselves.

Ha. Why string these people along? You don't have people working on other things or projects.  There is no team, It's just you. And I'm guessing the same with your other coins as well.  Never any updates and you are online all the time.   Just admit you made a bundle of btc and move on.

You have time to make wallets for multiple other coins but can only update this thread 4-5 per month??

I've been calling it a large pre-mined scam since June 6th, and the price and dev activity seem to agree with me 100%.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICB] IcebergCoin ❄︎ FIRST NIST5 POW/POS ❄︎ NOW 100% POS ❄︎ on: July 25, 2014, 11:32:35 PM
Why do you even need a new dev?  It was a coin made with no innovation, an obvious scam from the get go.  Why not just jump on a coin with an actual future and invest there instead of spending time and money on this? I know there are probably a lot of bag holders who bought in at 8000 and above, but hard to get people on board a coin that only had 7 days PoW and offers nothing new to the community.  Just my 2 cents.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WACG] WACCOIN GOLD ** READ FULL PRESS RELEASE ** on: July 25, 2014, 09:04:38 PM
OK solo mined for 12 hours at 5.5 Mh/s, net .5 WACG.  If there was any movement at all on the exchanges I might be tempted to throw more hashpower at the coin.  But the exchange on this coin is DEAD!!

I don't understand why you continue to mine this.  You yourself have pointed out the reasons several times why this coin will not succeed!  A dev can't mine 1/3 of all coins, put an absurd price on it and then have such strict mining rewards. It just can't work that way.

On one hand the DEVs have really been trying with this coin, that really means a lot.  But alas, it has gotten (or maybe has always been) not worth mining.

Thank you Marty. It may be hard to assimilate, but once GCCICB is fully operational, you will be able to obtain a credit through your waccoin, and such credit will be in USD (not crypto), Waccoin is a long term vehicle of investment. Is there any other coin in the market that will give you 10% dig profits of a gold mine ? I appreciate you being here since day 1. There are huge plans for this coin. It does not depend on volume or mining power, the businessman behind this coin are working tirelessly to make Waccoin the next big thing. Bitcoin started as a dream, you can recall a pizza selling for several thousand BTC, it was worth nothing. We already have been accepted and paid IO into bittrex, that market should see something better. Id be happy to answer further questions

If this giant group of people is working "tirelessly" why is there no attention for this coin?  Why is no one mining it?  Why is it on no big exchange?  Why is it so hard to mine, even though there are going to be so many coins?  It DOES matter about volume and mining power though, I think that's what you don't understand here.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us about your coin. We look for coins that have high community demand, innovations to cryto-coin technology, or a contribution to science or humanity. Given the demand for coin launches, we limit ourselves to only a handful a week. Launching is free and at our discretion. If you'd like to guarantee the launch of your coin and get additional marketing in our platform, we offer the option to spotlight your coin for 3.0 BTC.

* Github Link
* Exchanges you are currently on
* Official blockchain explorer
* What is your TxFee for a transaction

Hello!

I was interested in getting Murraycoin listed on Bittrex. It launched January 20th and the original lead dev is still active, so it is well established and a worthwhile cryptocurrency to include on your site. It is currently available in a BTC pair on Cryptsy, as well. I would also be interested in learning more about having Murraycoin be sponsored / highlighted at the top of the Bittrex home page if/when it gets added to your markets.

Thanks for your help!

Regards,

Brian

Nice work Brian.

I think we should get a list of users who are willing to put some murray/btc towards this so we can get some exposure.

Im guessing your willing Brian plus this being your idea you can be number one on the list.

Bittrex and advert fund.

1- Brian
2- snakey

Add your name to the list guys and then we will split up the funds.

Murray to the moon.

snakey

I am all for the more exposure of MRY, but 3 BTC is just a luaghable scam and I really hope you guys aren't considering raising that much.  There is very little buy power on Cryptsy at the moment which has more volume than Bittrex.  I just don't see how paying to get it on another exchange would be worth it.  Rather than people donating money to get it added, I feel it would be more worthwhile to simply buy cheap MRY coins on Cryptsy, but that's just my 2 cents.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DISTROCOIN X11 / WALLET UPDATE / DEBIT CARDS SIGNUP / APPLE IOS NEWS! on: July 25, 2014, 06:34:15 PM
why did dev let this coin flop? unbelievable.

Because he pre-mined 16.5% of total PoW coins, promised big things, persuaded exchanges to add it, then dumped to make money.  It's really that simple.  Mark my words, the next move will be to "revive" the coin by making a 2.0 and forcing people to buy up more DIS to trade it in for DISs, creating more revenue for the Dev.  No reason to keep a coin going when you profit immediately from it.

because the trust about this coin is made on Bittrex name , not an anon Dev..

now they start allowing scam Ipo coin, tomorrow they will just use the hack lost coin argument...

if iceberg not a scam, then Bittrexs should express why they are supporting it.

All Bittrex is doing is holding the IPO so people do not have to send their BTC to anon dev BTC address.  This way it assures that people will get the coins they paid for.  Now.....after the dev gets the BTC from the IPO, that's when the fun starts and will determine if this coin will float or be a scam.
how can devs control if price goes up or down?

They don't.  With an IPO it always runs the risk of being a scam.  People are paying a dev for future development in a large lump sum of BTC.  Let's say this IPO raises...50 BTC, and for whatever reason instead of putting that $32,500 into development of projects the dev just closes up shop.  Now you have a coin with no future and with no dev and you expect the price of the coin to stay the same?  It will get mined and dumped and the original investors get robbed.  It has happened literally 100's of times in the last 6 months alone.

Now I am not saying that will happen here.  The dev could have big plans and this coin could take off with support and IPO money.  But, that's why it's always a risk to buy into an IPO.

Finally someone who talks sense.. Why don't people invest once its listed in an exchange and trades stable for a few days.
Want big returns or just greed? This IPO in particular is a total rip off and people don't realize it.. Once the mining is over, all IPO investors are likely to loose their money.. This is happening for pretty much all IPO coins these days and I don't see how this one is going to be any different..

Thank you.  I see too many people compare coin IPO's to company stock IPO's before they go public.  There is a huge difference here.....a company going public already has a business, support.....A PRODUCT.  A coin has an algorithm and the dev's hopes and dreams of what his vision of the future of the coin.  It's awesome to generate hype and promise the world to investors, but too many people put blind faith and just throw their money away.  I would be willing to risk that ~<2% of all coins with an IPO have been beneficial to investors.....and it's usually the original ones that do, like NXT.

IcebergCoin on the surface is a 20% pre-mined IPO, asking 8000 satoshis per coin for those wishing to get in it.  The IPO looking to raise 100 BTC ($62,600 in the dev's pocket) before POW even starts.  The rest of the 5M coins will be mined within 7 days, and if the coin was to keep that 8000 satoshis per coin as value, after 12 days (5 days IPO, 7 days mining) this coin would have a market value of $313,000.  Quite the value for a coin with nothing ground breaking and it's future developments claim to be - Anon-feature (not original), VoIP feature (will it be better than a free service like Skype?), P2P feature , Black Blockchain, and Democracy Blockchain.  The Nist5 feature is beneficial....but PoW ends after 7 days, so how exactly is that VERY beneficial at all?

Those of you planning on buying into the IPO....can I ask you, what is the reason you think it's worth what the IPO price over established coins out there that are going for A LOT on exchanges?  Before you call me a "troll" or a "fudder", throw me a reason because I'm just generally curious.

Now that the price has gone exactly where I thought it would go, I'll bring this up post again which I posted before the ICO started.   People just never learn.

For people who don't think the DEV ran off with your money, I am quote my post AGAIN, I made before the ICO.  The only post he has made now is about Cryptsy.  I'm guessing he probably bought 10-20 BTC in the ICO.....because well..they were free to him and just wants to pump it up a little and dump what else he has.  QUIT blind trusting devs with no public history! You are giving away your money!

PC is a scam too, idiot
probably the exact same dev

PC is not a scam, if you are referring to PinkCoin. Its one of the most succesful takeover projects to date and they have the most transparent devs on par with VRC. Come on man...

I would assume he means Pawncoin
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WACG] WACCOIN GOLD ** NEW NODES ** UPDATED DAILY on: July 15, 2014, 09:45:06 PM
This is crazy, just a few days old and hashrate already down to 4.4 mh/s total.  I still want to understand what the incentive is here to mine this coin, and apparently I am not the only one as nobody is mining this coin?!  Nobody = 4 people, might as well be zero......this is just flat out confusing as well.

In looking at the pool stats, if I throw one of my rigs back on this coin at 3.5 mh/s I will be lucky to get .3 of ONE coin.  For a currency that was premined of 200 million and has a total of 600 million........this is SENSELESS..........or I and others are missing something here.

You have access to 200 million of these things and yet have made it near impossible for anyone else to mine some decent coins........AND you say this coin will see no less value than $10 per coin..........GREAT for you guys........fuck, I could use a cool 2 billion dollars myself lol.  So is it that we are all supposed to throw endless resources trying to mine MINISCULE amounts of coin to make the value you need to dump your 2 million and leave us all stuck with electricity bills we cannot pay back?!?

I am not trying to be a jerk here or get myself labeled as a fudster, but this makes absolutely NO sense as to what is going on here!!!  How the hell is you can hold 200 million of this damn thing and we can't mine a single fucking coin without throwing hundreds of dollars at our electrical provider??!  Does it not concern you that EVERYONE else appears to have the exact same concerns and are staying the hell away from this coin............4 miners and a net hashrate of 4 mh/s........dude, this is NOT good!

No you are exactly right.   OP keeps saying the 200m pre mine is for the bank and because "major companies" are backing it.   My question is...backing what?  A coin too hard to mine,  on no exchanges,  nothing innovative,  no marketing and have an apparent value of $10 a coin?  Absurd.
