I think they are confused... That is clearly a tree! We should all report to moderator, name infringement & causing confusion. There can be only one, original Truckcoin (2014) - here. They need to rename it to something else.. like FakeTruckcoin.

I'm staking HYP and TRK on the same machine too, the wallet works great btw I'm just curious what are these 140-150trk stake rewards ? I thought it's a fixed 200 TRK like on hyp 1k. How is it calculated ?
Stake reward is 200%/year limited to 200 coins per block max, 140-150trk stake rewards are normal 200% rewards. Just to clarify, its 200% year MAX... it doesn't mean its the actualized rate. Presently its lower.

Hello everyone,
I am absolutely new in this world of cryptocurrency.
I would have a lot of questions regarding the trading process, sites, trading platforms and so on, but I am sure I will find my answers on this forum in the beginners topics.
Other than that, I have a question for you guys, about IOTA. Although I have seen few videos on youtube about IOTA, I still don't get something. On coinmarketcap, 1 iota is evaluated at $0.43, but near the price, there is another name - Miota. From the videos I watched on yt, I have seen that $0.43 are actually 1 mil iota (miota). That means, 1 iota = $0.00000043. Well, my question is: If I will buy 200miota, I would have to pay $.43x200? If iota (not miota) will be in the next years, $0.00040, that means I will have - 200.000.000 x $0.00040?
I am sorry if you will not be able to understand my question, it might be because English is not my native tongue.
Just convert using this:

Noise stated he needs older versions built, to see where the bug started.
I'll see if I can try to build some..

Hi guys Regarding my absence - currently I'm not much active in crypto, especially at bitcointalk. However, TRK is being constantly monitored and cared for. In case of any problems you can pm me. Regarding Bittrex delisting - it's not a volume issue, I spoke to them and it seems that they just don't want to keep it at Bittrex anymore. There is still a thin chance to keep it there if a LOT of users ask them to. You can ask them to keep TRK at their Slack at https://bittrex.slack.comPost some good stuff about TRK in their #general channel. Some support tickets asking to keep the coin wont hurt too. The person who decided to delist TRK and who deciding its future at Bittrex is bittrex-julian Hey Noise !!! If you didn't read the last couple posts... the GUI version needs updating, if you can some time please. No transactions show in the list, and it doesn't stay sync'd .. well it does but the GUI is not reporting it correctly - that's with QT4.. others said there is some menu missing when using QT5. I will tell people to ask Bittrex, like you said.

So is there a dev for truck at all? I believe truck has easily met the btc vol to prevent from being delisted. Am I wrong?
Vegas
I don't think there is a dev anymore. I haven't heard anything back from presstab either yet, about noise23 or possibly helping. Maybe this coin is dead... sell all to me.
|
|
|
I sent a message to Presstab... maybe he can help fix/update this wallet.
*keeping fingers crossed*
Noise23 I believe is the dev for Truck. Although he is not presently active he did reassure me several months ago that he still watched the coin and would jump in if needed. So you may want to try to pm him. Oh.. I thought he left or had some kind of problems. I think presstab was in contact with him too, so we'll see I guess.

This plus no transactions showing, in recent transactions.

the market will be delisted ?why you would buy it again? as I see,the platform will decided the price sometime
Just delisted on one exchange... not all exchanges. That's why you buy... when 'blood in the streets'.
|
|
|
I would suggest a fork and bump of annual POS rate to 6000%. That will incentivize the exchanges to keep it for another few weeks without issuing bimonthly warnings. It seems like people tend to save jinxed assets from delisting by artificially increasing volume when they feel the need to prolong the lifespan of a coin for the sake of prolonging.
Or maybe add masternodes, like someone else suggested. Or, stake tickets ... like dcr does.

Well, GUI version is not working for me anymore. It won't stay sync'd, and keeps going back to sync. So I have to delete the whole block index on my computer and start over. So I went back to a previously compiled daemon version on an older OS, which works. We need a dev working on this, or at least look at.. there is obviously something wrong when compiling & running GUI on newer linux OS.

I have an interesting finding... I've compiled with QT5 and now I have the transactions... but the top menu disappeared. I have kept the old QT4 version (and recompiled it just in case), and it doesn't have the transactions, but the menu is there. So far it's not blocking since I can launch one or the other, but it's not really the most elegant thing to do. I've compiled on Ubuntu 16.04.2 Xenial Xerus LTS with QT4, and now I see this same problem. No transactions showing in the transactions list, but everything is working fine. Stakes are showing up in coin control. Is there a dev that can look into this, and possibly bugfix & update? Another thing I've noticed, if I run ./truckcoin-qt from command line, I get this in the terminal: (truckcoin-qt:6706): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_date_get_julian: assertion 'g_date_valid (d)' failed
(truckcoin-qt:6706): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_date_set_time_t: assertion 'g_date_valid_dmy (date->day, date->month, date->year)' failed Not sure if that has something to do with it. (because it can't do timestamps then?)

That's like asking, oh what's the point of teachers, we can just look up answers online now. There's a community here, that's the whole point. So, thank you for answering it. I forgot how it worked. Not everyone is an ace on cryptocurrencies. Its just that the same question has been answered in the past. It should be in a faq or something - so people don't have to keep asking it again. That is what a faq is for, correct?? maybe the title of this thread is mislead? maybe it should be changed to "pos 137%" or "up to 200%". Or maybe it should just say " Variable Annualized Stake Rate". Up to 200% sounds good too! That way people will look to see what it is currently at.
