Who cares... Bittrex sucks,  they don't deserve Truckcoin.

We still have Cryptopia and it would be better to consolidate more.

Bittrex does not understand the nature of a crypto asset like Truckcoin. I have talked with them and saved Truck from delisting on the last warning. The very nature of principle building for future long term generation of coins, that, until a direct merchant/retail interface is established, is converted into bitcoin, creates a stakers market versus a traders market. Its obvious that Bittrex wants high liquidity markets and does not intend to wait until Truck builds into the bastion of stability and liquidity that Truck is designed and destined to become. Until then, I think it is best, also, that Truck settles down onto an exchange that doesn't, every other month, threaten delisting.  For now I would sell, and buy back in at a lower price on Cryptopia or Bittrex until May 17.

Is there a cap on the number of coins created? A 200% inflation rate adds up awfully fast.  Huh

Again its NOT actually 200%.  See the actual annualized stake rate here:
http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/TRK/

Its down around 137%.

Plus the more people stake-mining, the difficulty goes up.  It has built-in inflation control.

How many times do we have to repeat this?  Roll Eyes

That's like asking, oh what's the point of teachers, we can just look up answers online now. There's a community here, that's the whole point.  Roll Eyes
So, thank you for answering it. I forgot how it worked. Not everyone is an ace on cryptocurrencies.

Its just that the same question has been answered in the past.

It should be in a faq or something - so people don't have to keep asking it again.

That is what a faq is for, correct??

maybe the title of this thread is mislead? maybe it should be changed to "pos 137%" or "up to 200%".

Or maybe it should just say "Variable Annualized Stake Rate".   Up to 200% sounds good too!
That way people will look to see what it is currently at.

IM jumping back into truck as the price is so low, and its such as trusted coin. Yes, it could be stated "Up to 200% per year, Average 137% +/-"

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

I have an interesting finding... I've compiled with QT5 and now I have the transactions... but the top menu disappeared.
I have kept the old QT4 version (and recompiled it just in case), and it doesn't have the transactions, but the menu is there. Smiley So far it's not blocking since I can launch one or the other, but it's not really the most elegant thing to do. Smiley

I've compiled on Ubuntu 16.04.2 Xenial Xerus LTS with QT4,  and now I see this same problem.
No transactions showing in the transactions list,  but everything is working fine.
Stakes are showing up in coin control.

Is there a dev that can look into this, and possibly bugfix & update?

Another thing I've noticed, if I run ./truckcoin-qt from command line, I get this in the terminal:
Code:
(truckcoin-qt:6706): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_date_get_julian: assertion 'g_date_valid (d)' failed

(truckcoin-qt:6706): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_date_set_time_t: assertion 'g_date_valid_dmy (date->day, date->month, date->year)' failed

Not sure if that has something to do with it. (because it can't do timestamps then?)

The best thing I EVER added to my coin was -zapwallettxes command. It fixes ALL wallet.dat issues, everytime. its 10x more powerful than rescan, and works when salvage wallet fails. Its a must have for all wallets. I believe V1.0 is the last version of truck. But I thought I saw V1.01. Could be mistaken.

Well, GUI version is not working for me anymore.

It won't stay sync'd,  and keeps going back to sync.  So I have to delete the whole block index on my computer and start over.

So I went back to a previously compiled daemon version on an older OS, which works.

We need a dev working on this, or at least look at.. there is obviously something wrong when compiling & running GUI on newer linux OS.

I would suggest a fork and bump of annual POS rate to 6000%. That will incentivize the exchanges to keep it for another few weeks without issuing bimonthly warnings. It seems like people tend to save jinxed assets from delisting by artificially increasing volume when they feel the need to prolong the lifespan of a coin for the sake of prolonging.

Or maybe add masternodes, like someone else suggested.

Or, stake tickets ... like dcr does.

Regardless, this coin's gui still needs bugfixes for newer linux versions.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=716182.msg18841421#msg18841421

That's in addition to sync'ing issues that I see.

Just delisted on one exchange... not all exchanges.  That's why you buy... when 'blood in the streets'.
