42  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: USER FORGETS BITCOIN WALLET PASSWORD, FUND TRAPPED. NEED HELP. on: October 16, 2019, 08:59:36 PM
The owner of the wallet either gave the wrong wallet or the person lied because the total funds received in that wallet is just a little bit above quarter of the amount you mentioned which was moved 6 days ago.

You just repeated what someone has said before! Try to read before posting, or you just want to post?
No one said anything about the total funds the wallet ever had not being up to quarter of what was mentioned
43  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't run for merits! on: October 16, 2019, 05:48:19 PM
They might not necessarily want to chase merits some newbies just know that some members have merits which gives them extra features on the forum like signatures, avatars & the ability to post pictures so they might be wandering about how to get them. You already know that you get merits by being helpful on the forum but some newbies don't know.

You might have used the wrong password try resetting by clicking on forgot password if you are using an online wallet but if you are using a wallet that you have access to its private key then clear the data of the app and import the wallet back using its private key then it will require you to choose your new password.

Just weird, when you give a suggestion to other people about the best signature campaign which pay in btc and which pay in their own token/project but you are not a part of participant to those campaign.
The reason that i haven't joined them is because they either require kyc which i don't have or i didn't meet the requirements.
Beware while vouching for a bounty to join as a good projects if it scammed the participants you also in risk of getting negative tag, better follow the table of other threads which were updated regularly about current active bounties.
I didn't vouch for any of them that's why i clearly stated that they are just my opinion and they should make their own research about any project before joining. No one can predict the outcome of any crypto token.

There are bounty campaigns for article, youtube review, twitter and reddit as well.  Its all for you preferences which one you want to join. Not too many are joining the signature campaign but mostly are into twitter and facebook. Article/media campaign pays a lot with just few efforts that you can do in less than 2 hours unlike doing signature campaign that you have to keep up everyday.
I am already doing social media campaigns for Xcard and Gold stablecoin.

When you are mentioning few projects are good to join then there are such risks, that's why gave a friendly warning to you bud,if you are not aware of it.

This is the only answer on this thread i do see which is appropriate yet all btc-based signature campaigns is already compiled into that link which its the current list of active campaigns which is worth to join on since these do give out assurance of payment unlike bounties.

Thanks for your appreciation buddy. Kiss

Thanks for the advice
52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible for a token creator to take back the tokens sent to someone on: October 10, 2019, 06:42:01 PM
I am having an argument with some people and they said that a token creator removed a token from one of their wallet and i told them that tokens that has been sent cannot be withdrawn back as long as they're the only ones with their private key but they don't believe me.

Seems the answer here is very clear from the highlighted statement above. I presume this incident was recorded via bounty payment since we have recorded numerous report of such scenario occuring in the forum, where bounty hunters token's get withdrawal by the tokens creators or their wallets get blocked. The issue here isn't about the token's blockchain instead it's about the wallets.

So here's my answer, wallets controlled by token creators especially web wallets can be access at any point and tokens can be withdrawn without your notice but in regards to tokens blockchain, it all depends on how the blockchain was created to function (like users above have explained).
In this case the guy claims that the token was sent to his personal ethereum wallet
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible for a token creator to take back the tokens sent to someone on: October 10, 2019, 06:19:51 PM
It depends on the token. Bitcoin, no. EOS, yes. Others, maybe.
It's an Ecr20 token

I want to send them a link to this thread with opinions of crypto experts in this forum so we can know who is right.

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser to launch a fully decentralized vpn on: October 06, 2019, 08:35:08 PM
Yeah, really? I didn't know at all that blockchain guarantees anonymity. Could you please explain to me how I missed this out?
What i meant to say is that a Decentralised Vpn powered by blockchain will have more anonymity than a regular vpn
Is that why the silk road guys all got caught? Is it because they weren't actually using blockchain? You mean Bitcoin isn't enough, they had to blockchain their entire operations?
I don't know who the silk road guys are but i just googled them and i don't see how that relates to blockchain
Brave gonna save the world with VPN right?
I didn't say anything about Brave saving the world

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Brave Browser to launch a fully decentralized vpn on: October 06, 2019, 10:57:56 AM
We all know that the blockchain itself guaranties anonymity on its own and now Brave browser want's to integrate it into a vpn service creating a fully decentralized virtual private network which means you don't have to be worried about your data being sold by the vpn providers.

However we all know that everything has a good and bad side and one of its disadvantages is that it gives people who perform illegal activities more freedom. What do you think about it? Do you think it's worth it or not?

The website should have mailed all their users about the website shutdown rather than just putting a notification on the website so that the users won't miss the notification.
