I locked myself out of my aur.pool-a.net a couple of weeks ago. I requested for a new password but didn't receive a response from them. At that point I was a little scared because everything I'd mined was still in the account. The day after I rechecked my e-mail and realized the response had landed in my spam-folder. I've registered at all of the pools but the only one that's been treated as spam is aur.pool-a.net. Even after I labelled it as not being spam. Maybe the same thing has happened to you? I hope you work it out. Best of luck and happy mining! Regards, Rafgleymir. Ps. Til hamingju með árangurinn Baldur, frábært framtak hjá þér! Ég hef fulla trú á að þetta hafi mikil áhrif. En þú hefðir kannski átt að kalla þig Einar Ben Takk takk. Þá er kannski í lagi með þennan pool.

aur.pool-a.net does not respond to locked out users. I have removed any references to it in the first post. I suspect it is scamming miners.
Edit: seems some have received responses from them, ending in the spam folder.

It is fun but quite concerning to see all this speculation. The coin needs infrastructure for the Airdrop to be a huge success. You should really support it by building that up. That is a solid investment.

All the pools and exchanges I am aware of have upgraded, except I have no idea of how to contact aur.pool-a.net.

Any news about easy-mine? What would happen if they update late? I have a few coins there and I'm still mining.
Easy-mine responded to me and said the were "done". So I think they must have updated already.

We'll keep android client up to date.. better not give it to public before it is ready for the fork. Excellent. I agree. We must see if auroracoinj handles KGW properly.

is easy-mine updated? Always mining there.
Probably not yet. Miners should make 100% sure the pools they are mining with are updated before the fork happens. block reward still same? but the fork happens 2-3 weeks from now, isn't that a bit long? Block reward 12.5, instead of 25. Block time 5 minutes, instead of 10 minutes. Halving height doubled. So coins are in reality created at the same rate as before. KGW will make time between blocks steadier.

I am preparing a hard fork with KGW implemented. Also, I will tweak the block reward, block time and halving time in order to make the confirmation time faster, without altering how fast coins are generated.

The operator of aur.pool-a.net is still not responding to those miners that are locked out of their account. I am constantly getting questions about the pool. Miners beware - you will not get the support you are paying for in fees with aur.pool-a.net. I advise you to stay away from it until its operator owns up to his responsibilities.

Aurora need kimoto gravity well +1 +1 +1 this can't be changed easily now. Are there any other possible defenses? How likely is the attack to happen and kill the coin? Such an attack would not kill the coin. We would implement a hard fork. With every day that passes, this scenario gets less likely

For the Airdrop to be a success, the coin has to have a price so that people see the upside in claiming it. So it is good to see the coin traded.

Hmm ...... what will be the other verification? Hmm, SMS?
So please DEV's, sit down and bring some new, more interesting story today.
I can't believe you are still arguing this is impossible. Just because you don't understand any of what you have been told does not mean "stories" are changing. All you need to know is that a working national ID authentication service has been available and widely used in Iceland for years and if it was vulnerable to botnets lots of Icelandic bank accounts would be emptied by now. To mention that the verification is national ID based, physical key based or SMS based are all working simplifications of how it works and obviously not in depth technical descriptions of all use cases. Hmm registered 24. January 2014 just days before Balduro .... hmm. No stories? Unluckily for lame childish DEV's, I read both BTCtalk and Hackingforums. So next time you'll be making stories, sit down You, Balduro and Arni and bring up some story that Let's get back to question DEV's refuse to answer. 1. What will happen to unclaimed coins. NO FUCKING HELL NO, 100% Icelanders won't claim that so PLEASE come up with some believable story. 2. Unite your stories, if one DEV is talking (Arni) that AIRDROP will last forever until all PREMINED coins are gone BUT website and other DEV's claim it would last 1 year. 3. How can you you prove that none of the PREMINED (other then 31.8 like every other Icelanders) ended in wallets of DEV's The plans are clearly laid out at http://auroracoin.org/ and http://auroracoin.org/blueprint.php. That is the only "story" you need concern yourself with. I can not be any clearer or do any better than that. I think it's impossible to satisfy you in any other way than let the government oversee the Airdrop. Which they obviously would never do, since they want to keep the people using their prescious króna - hence the whole reason for this project. You will just have to watch and see if you are right or not.
