I have been thinking about this idea for years but calculations told me that geothermal energy is the only way to get away with this like iceland. But there is certain type of algae that can produce hydrogen and according to wikipedia if we use around 20% of space used to cultivate corn for these algae in the US , we can displace around 50% of fossil fuel consumption. The other issue is to transport the volatile hydrogen but there is an indian girl that patented a way to make it less volatile, transport it and then refine it at large facilities. . For me energy is at the ocean, if we can tap one marine current, use it to produce electricity then electrolysis for hydrogen, make it not volatile with the special process of indian girl, transport it in ships to refining facilities at ground etc. Since the hydrogen volatility decreases with the special process we can even use the existent oleo duct technology. I Also think tapping geothermal energy in the ocean for electrolysis is viable. not sure how this can help but just want to spread the knowledge.... |

Price is dropping, is this the end of EMC2?
there are only a few coins flowing through the current exchanges which let the price fluctuate a lot. so in my opinion it's not a sign for a dropping price or anything else... and there is only one exchange with lower buy orders. Astonishing! You are absolutely right! We need more volume, damnit. Volume will come in due time. I know many heavy holders of this coin and none of us are letting it go cheap, We would rather take a total loss then to devalue the coin. This coins has a very bright future and so does the human race now that EMC2 is out and raising money to improve the planet we live on. Volume will come. Its just a matter of time and let's be real here, This coin is barely a week old Agree Bob, same situation here.. |

I think their is someone trying to keep the price up. Loads of small amounts that always appear after a low buy, to make it look like a rebound on the graph. Or am I trippin?
I though it was tradebots cancelling with each other.. |

What could I do to help? I can't program and don't have social media to promote tho...
Tell your friends, you don't have to be mining dogecoin to get people interested, Einsteinium is a great place to enter the crypto world as well. Mining always helps, in fact it would be fantastic if someone wrote a basic mining guide for Einsteinium, yes I am aware there are many guides out there for scrypt coins but, I need one for our subreddit and it would save me the time. Just an idea... it would be nice if you show more informations about the team behind EMC2 on the website. Some personal infos, photos etc. to gather more confidence about the foundation and the concept.

If this is going to be serious (i mean each miner is donating .. money... somehow.. a trader is just pushing the market not solving blocks and therefore filling the fund wallet) i would like to have a bit more infos about the Dev-Team. All the bugs wil be worked out in due time and this coin will go to the moon, the funds it will raise, the people who will learn for it. I think a simple way to vote would be using google authentication like in coinedup.com, in that way voters won´t have to fill forms or register. Most people have a gmail account, in that way we can keep it simple for everybody and avoid double voting, it will be a pain in the ass to be registering new gmail accounts just for 1 vote. hey guys, I was thinking the 3 cryptomarkets that really matter are: btc38(china), better and crypsy. Is there a way to buy in or someone knows how to get into those markets?, especially btc38 and better. They will provide a lot of liquidity for funding projects. The current ones are creepy, people won´t trust to deposit more than 1 btc.

Hi, I don't think giving 250,000 EMC for getting into mintpal, It would create a whale that can manipulate the market. We will earn the right to be on other exchanges, step by step. On the other hand I am not sure if is easy to implement kimoto gravity well to the coin so multipools don't get in and dump the price. Thanks for being so thoughtful Dev...
Just a side note: KGW (Kimoto Gravity Well) is already implemented in Einstenium from block 1 Excellent! |

We NEED Your Feedback
As you will no doubt be aware because of the block halving the collection for the coin promotion fund is weighted towards the
first 3 years of mining. However, we have been working with figures that spread the promotion fund equally over the first 10 years
of the coins life. That gives us a little under 7000 EMC2 each Epoch to spend on promotions and give-aways.
Now, that puts us in a quandary, there is ECM2 in the pot to achieve certain goals in the very short term, purchase 'votes' to get on cryptorush or Mintpal,
pay for advertising and hire marketers. However that would leave the promotion fund much shorter in numbers of EMC2 in years to come, for example it would take
around 250,000 ECM2 to buy sufficient ‘votes’ to get us listed on Cryptorush, a site we are confident that we will be listed on organically over time.
Of course the counter-point to this argument is that in years to come the value of EMC2 will be significantly higher.
So we open it up to the community.

It will soon be over 0.00001 if we keep up the price and not sell for nothing.
I noticed, have been trying to buy for .000008 for 6 hours and barely got 20% of the coins I wanted. Nobody is selling bigger quantities than 5,000 under that price. |

wow we have some support at .000008, around 10% profit than mining doge or similar, level 1 completed in 48 hours haha, keep doing exactly what you are doing guys! after level 2 or 3 (.00002/3), we can finance little practical scientific ideas, then the magic begins.

Anyone else have trouble with allcoin sending an email confirmation when you first sign up? How long does it take...I'm trying to buy some emc2. edit: got it fixed ....so how high can this thing go?? well, I think from current levels, easily 10x , people are in the Aurora euphoria so not many have noticed about this coin, once we reach certain price, we can start doing scientific donations then price will explode. In this time period everybody have a fair chance to buy this coin at discount prices bf the train leaves. |

Loving this coin so far, it's not too hard to mine even with my poor hashrate, been mining since day 1 and got around 300 so far ( i know it's not much ) I love the wormhole event idea, think with all these coins, we need something fresh to appeal and stand out of all these cryptos, that are just made to pump and dump.
