there are only a few coins flowing through the current exchanges which let the price fluctuate a lot. so in my opinion it's not a sign for a dropping price or anything else... and there is only one exchange with lower buy orders. Smiley

Really, it's refreshing to stumble upon a new alt-coin that doesn't carry the stench of being a scam and a quick win for the devs.
For me personally, even the remote hint of a smell of that, is sickening.

I've dropped everything else (crypto-coin-wise  Cheesy) and pointed all my hashing power towards: Einsteinium!

@ Dev-team: Thank you for this.

@ Everyone else, not already on this train: Come onboard!

A new standard of coin has been set by: Einsteinium!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds to me you guys only want to make a quick mining-profit.

Let's just see the bigger picture here, Einsteinium is a long-term project, which means we shouldn't worry about prices but instead spread the word of Einsteinium so that not only (multi)miningpools will mine and sell it for a quick buck, but to have everyone hold a piece of to-be-written-history.

If people will see the value of this project, the underlying idea instead of 'just another coin to mine and sell' this project will be a success (and so will your coin-price be).

Imagine funding research of medicine, 3d printers, clean energy, cold fusion reactors, space travel, (endless possibilities!), all funded by miners, traders and regular people in your family, at work or from school, isn't that just way more impressive than simply running a command-line tool hoping to make a couple of bucks every day?

I used to run SETI@Home and other community grid projects for cancer/aids/weather research before putting my GPU/CPU into cryptocurrency to also make money, but now the day has come we can do both!

I am in this project (note: not currency) for the long run and hope I can contribute to this world-changing idea how big or small it will turn out.

You're always going to have short-term speculators and long-term investors for any market. That's just the way economics works. You can't blame anyone for it. It's just how it is.

Einsteiners,

lets start a quotequote with a brief description about the motivation "why" you support this coin. Wouldnt that be cool to have something like this directly on the webpage?

Ill start:

Quote
There is an ocean of altcoins - Everyone - When i say everyone im also talking about those non-crypto-related people in the "outside" world ;-) -  heard about that "mysterious" Bitcoin and that theres a way to make money with buying a fast hashing GPU and you are done. Well... nothing wrong with this (Thats how i got into cryptocurrency aswell). So the question which im asking is:

Wouldnt it be absolutely fantastic if you could support an idea, do something good, help people, push the innovation in the real world while you are just sitting in front of your pc watching your khash going up and down and let the Coins flow through your wallet which are basicly paying the money for doing exactly this?

I love the idea that this is all i have to do to help cure cancer, find a solution for global warming or any other "big task of society" - The best part is that i am able and allowed to choose the idea i want to support. Its going to be elected by the community which is a great sign of democracy and therefore civilisated humanity.
This is my motivation for supporting this Coin. Pure humanity. I truly believe that science and technology is the way to push the human development of civilisation.

Dennis, Germany, providing 780 khash/s.

Just quote the description and add your motivation. Maybe the Devs will add "Voices of the Comm" to the website for PR\Marketing awareness?
A voice of NERDS helping the world raises slowly.... :-)

.. Ahh.. and i opened up a IRC Channel #Einsteinium.org - Guess ill do a little give-away this evening... Who knows when it starts?  Roll Eyes

I'm mining this coin since launch, so only while mining I contribute to the foundation and the project behind it. EMC2 is different then all the other coins nowadays, I'm tech-addicted and love the coin-concept. Besides kickstarter and co, I've a new way to help science/tech projects and products.

Surely I'll sell some of the coins because electricity is not free here but the major part will be donated for something useful.
