It was a very obvious choice for me to build on scorex, since I liked the approach and it would obviously speed up the development. Of course Scorex is not production-ready but no one was going to put it into production immediately. I know Alex as a member of NXT community and NXT developer, not as an IOHK employee. I can somehow understand your position now but you should also understand mine. Crypto is about cooperation, and I really expect people to cooperate, especially when they seem interested, like you did. So these developments were unexpected for me, and I made these remarks. This situation does not do any good to either party. Please let's finish this and move on to building products. Actions speak louder than words. Have you removed the misleading statements from your website and inserted a disclaimer that your interactions on the open source Scorex do not constitute an endorsement, commitment, nor assistance from IOHK? I think you don't understand well the predicament Charles is in, considering that he is running a global corporation and is ostensibly a USA citizen. He can't at any costs be later claimed to have contributed to the promotion of illegal investment securities to non-accredited USA investors (and regulatory issues in other jurisdictions). Although he won't come right out and say this, you need to respect and understand that this issue is most definitely lurking (unless Charles specifically states here that is not an issue for him). He is being diplomatic but it is up to you to have a brain and read between the lines so there won't be a misunderstanding. This is not a small matter. Jail time is potentially involved. Disclaimer: IANAL so consult your own. And I have had no discussions with Charles on this matter, nor on legal issues, nor any private communication with Charles since 2014 (before he formed Ethereum) afair. Historically, MarketCap ranking is directly proportional to Coin Popularity. Based on graph below, clearly Lisk will reach #3 on MarketCap soon after launch. So probably $300M-$500M MarketCap, which means Lisk should be at $3 to $5When Lisk's popularity surpasses Ethereum's popularity, then you can expect Lisk to go above $10  Another graph (Google trends):  Interesting is also the correlation between Lisk and Yobit. With other words: Lisk helps yobit to get more attention. ;-) This was Yobit's plan, along with heavy marketing here on the forum ads. And REBRANDING their whole website's topic to LISK exchange :O |

Realize one thing: the XCR in the Lisk ICO fund can only be of value for the Lisk team if somehow XCR keeps value. That's an incentive for the Lisk team to keep supporting XCR. And because they can't just dump 80% of the XCR at once without disturbing the market and losing value, they will have to support XCR for a long period.
In other words: if Lisk drops XCR, their ICO stake of XCR would become worthless.
That's one of the reasons I took a gamble and bought up some XCR.

Yobit is a very bad bad exchange, they Ban people who prevent in chat other user they are buying LISK IOU token!
They have something to hide on this. If i'm in the LISK team, i never give any LISK to this exchange when it's realised.
They deserve to be punished
It's free market, they have rights to have moderated chatroom. An investor is an investor. The team cannot decide (or actually know!) who's right or wrong to invest. That's the whole point in crypto, trustless and decentralized world. Having said that, im quite sure Yobit will not risk their business and reputation for some 100's of btc. After all, their exchange has some volume, and is profitable i assume. If they'll stand behind their "word" and will change all the iou's in real lisks at launch, Then they made a great business move. Same was done with Eth and Bittrex (ethercoin), Augur and Gatecoin.. Demand is there, small exchanges want in before the big ones enter, and its reasonable. |

Official Statement regarding YoBit trading “IOU” LISK tokens
As many of you may already know, YoBit has decided to sell LISK IOU Tokens before the mainnet of Lisk has even been launched. According to YoBit, if you buy these IOU tokens, they will be swapped for real LISK once the mainnet is official launched.
Let us make this clear: YoBit, nor anyone else, has access to LISK at this moment!
As it is, they have used their exchange status to adopt a very early trading opportunity. In response to this, we want to make it clear for the crypto community that
the Lisk team does not endorse or appreciate early IOU Token trading on the YoBit exchange or any other exchange.
They have taken it upon themselves to set this up, and have never contacted the Lisk team regarding this. We advise the crypto community and other potential buyers to do your research before investing in these IOU Tokens.
The Lisk mainnet launch is scheduled to be released at the end of April, 2016.

I think what hurt BitShares a lot was that it only had 101 delegates, why not 1001 delegates for the main chain?!
The number of delegates can, and will rise with the growing of lisk network. |

My main problem is that most the BTC will be allocated towards big-fancy-lawyer and big-fancy-developer standards of living. These guys probably burn 50k euro per year per person on their personal expenses. They burnt through 750 BTC from crypti too fast, now they still have to pay their expenses, so they make up a new project and ask for more money.

1) You should assign your risk before any trade i.e if i buy at 20 I will auto sell when it gets to 15
2) Use something like cryptrader to help you achieve this
3) automation removes all of teh emotion/pain & suffering from this process
I thought about your 1st advice, but i trade on Mintpal and if I put a sell order at the lowest possible, it immediately goes out in the books meaning others can buy it already which means insta-loss for me. You mentioned something about Cryptrader...would love to know how to make this possible with it. Pretty much going auto on my next alt investment. I'm still going to watch CRYPT, but no way in hell am I going to buy back in unless I receive some legit information guaranteed to pump the value.cryptrader.com Use cryptsy API key and volia !! Poloniex has gone a step too far, thinking they make the rules and select what is a good/bad coin. All traders interested in cloak and freedom of cryptocurrency should boycot Poloniex from now on. Let them FEEL IT!! I already am, mostly using bittrex now, have good contacts there and theyr honest folks. I agree. And it is unfortunate because exposure is needed via popular exchanges. Mintpal is still a must. Can't agree more, Mintpal is a must. mintpal is heaven for us. |
