Block in scryptN are not orphan, they are all rejected, like if they were found by a wrong algo/miner. And yes, please answer about the blocksize |

Two thing i didn't understand :
-scrypt-N does not work. Only rejected blocs. Even when N = 11
-in getmininginfo on the console :
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
should it be 100 and not 1000?

i mean i like the effort and all but unless u have 12 pools from the launch its a very an unfair launch as there are 12 algos IMHO. Why unfair ? If there is no pool for an algo, diff stay low and solomining is really an option. (and work perfectly well) |

As said before, i understand the fee thing. Without any open source out there, it's normal for Claymore to make some money for his work - and it's a great work.
But yes, 5% is huge.
Now, the miner is widely used, and i guess his revenue as grown exponantially, maybe it's time to low a bit this fee ?
If he doesn't, we will surely see in a very near future tools or how-to to remove and/or not pay the fee at all.

Good News  I allready propose to make a correct french translation a month ago, still waiting for dev's answer..
Indeed I forgot about that. Sorry. We got a reply from the original author of that translation and he made me believe that it is not a google translation. But if it is not good enough from your points of view (we do not speak a single word french) then a new translation would be good I guess (with the current, updated information). In fact, it's literally impossible to understand anything from this "french translation" if you are french. I don't know if it's a google translate job (it looks like), but be assured it was made by someone who didn't speak a word of french neither  If anyone wants to go for it. I proposed myself a long time ago to make a correct one, but i of course want the bounty for translation for myself.. Tout travail mérite salaire ! (every work deserve a reward) |

I see dead coin. There can only be one multi-algo coin - MYR.
Say that to SFR and Dvorakin coin. Some make a lot of money with those two mining from the beginning. And SFR has a lot of qualities, but he evolved from a clone of myr to something else. A clone/inspired from myr coin is not a bad thing, it just need some future plans and additions, other than just beeing a multi-algo coin |

J'ai bien compris comment me logger sur une instance avec putty, mais apres... (bon, avec les instance gratuite pour me faire la main, rien d'utilisable pour miner de toute façon, mais avant de payer...
C'est sur, il vaut mieux être sûr que ça marche avant de payer. Merge mining ?
D'ailleurs, j'ai pas vu passer l'info, mais pour ceux qui minent en cpu, Yam a sortit une version pour cryptonote, avec laquelle j'ai de meilleures perfs qu'avec le mineur de wolf.
Pour le merge mining on verra peut être plus tard car le problème est que ça réduit le hash et au final on y gagne pas à moins d'inventer une toute nouvelle optimisation mais ça prendrait du temps. Est ce que le YAM gère le failover ? oui, on peut entrer plusieurs pool dans le fichier de configuration. |
