Saying all day "dead, dead, dead" helps nobody. Xedoscoin needs help, we all need help from everyone in the community that wants a car coin. I do my best to move the things forward. And what do you do?

All these "is this coin dead" popping up in this forum really make me mad. If you don't have something else to do, then help the coin. There are lots of ways to do so, there are even ideas for shops and services. There is design work -- posters, paper wallets etc. If you do have something else to do... well... go on and mind your business.

I said it was going to be until 31st March, so that's it, now I have to sum everything up and make a poll of some sort. We'll choose the next logo, distribute the prizes and we will be ready for next design contests for the car coin Xedoscoin

I'll prepare the post with the summary sometime tomorrow during daytime (in Europe). In the meantime if someone has a favourite logo already, you can tell now, I'll add it to the vote count later.

I'm running two other skein-based coin pools there, for Skeincoin and for Xedoscoin, so I'll be keeping an eye on NGC pool. It's not like the next scrypt-based pool. The server is monitored and always up.

You mean for a fund for real service? OK, I'll set up a fund address, but before that we need to know are we ready to take this challenge. That's why I'd like to say to anyone here that can and want to do this -- don't be shy, stand up and take our money Anyone subscribing to such a task, XDC-backed service site?

We need services. We've mentioned this several times already, but it is hard to do it, especially since we're still a relatively small community.

So do we have ideas? We can concentrate on car related services.

An online shop for something like LED lights? We can raise a bounty fund for this -- a fund in XDC coins, this way the people will have more reasons to keep the service, because the money won from the fund will have real value when the shop starts selling items for XDC too.

The shop can benefit after that by selling on exchanges some coins -- not dumping them all, but selling some of them at a bit higher prices, thus pushing the value up (which is good for the shop in longer term too, because there will be more income from this). And when there is a service, there will be buyers at the exchanges, because they'll need the coin to use it at the service.

A web store is not hard to setup. It may even not be a store, but just some descriptive pages with an explanation where to send XDC to, a list of various items to pick from and a seller contact info if something goes wrong with the delivery.

The problem is only the logistic of these items.

Is there such a store running on some other crypto?

As of this writing the pool http://xdc.plasr.com is empty, so we can take a lot more miners in the pools. The official pool http://pool.xedoscoin.com can take more hit too. Only the http://xed.argakiig.us seems to be a bit crowded. All three pools are PPLNS, so each new miner will get his share of coins.

Also http://pool.xedoscoin.com and http://xdc.plasr.com have lower share difficulty set, that means that smaller miners will be getting more shares. So if you are mining with your PC and not with a huge rig, come join these.

Just a quick reminder -- deadline is 31 March, after that we choose the logo for XDC and everybody gets his/her prize.

Do you have a dedicated announcements thread? It's a bit off-topic to post news here in this thread (some may even consider it a spam), it would be better to have them in one place, at a thread dedicated to NCT. It would be easier to follow the news there, too. (Of course, this is just a suggestion )

This exchange is online again, does anybody know whether the problems were resolved?

It listed Xedoscoin XDC, in working on which I take part and I am wondering whether this site is a safe place to trade or not. Without positive feedback I cannot recommend it to our community.

There's a thread about Newcointrade, can you pls tell us are the issues resolved now? Because in the thread there are people complaining about newcointrade and lost money and markets "disappearing" from your exchange without explanation?...

I suggest all XDC coin owners to trade with caution there. Or wait until the site owners explain the sitiation and assure us everything is ok. Me personally I don't want to "lose" my XDC and would prefer the coin to not be listed if there is a risk of "dissapearing".

Do you have an ANN thread here on bitcointalk or elsewhere? Who is behind the site -- one man, a group of people or a company?

The "contacts" link on your website is non functional, there is no legal information, no terms and conditions.

Also the "newcointrade.com" domain (without the "www") opens up something that looks like a default webpage from a hosting company.

Don't get me wrong -- there was a scam exchange that recently listed XDC (coinpeat or sth like that was it called), so all of us here would like to be sure who are we giving our money to when we trade.
