i dont have much faith in "CPU coins", tho the medium article SOUNDS like they want to be able to change it as much as needed, like XMR

In 5 days Gulden will dump Scrypt and adopt a newly developed solo mining algorithm.
This will most certainly stop the flow of coins dumped on the market, since individuals mining are more likely to keep the coins to sell them later for better price and partly also they will be put into witness deposito’s not coming to market for years.

So this mining algo change could be the best happening to Gulden price for years.

After gamecredits price fell to under $2 million marketcap, gulden was the only coin providing better revenue for scrypt miners on pools. This can have serious consequences for the Scrypt mining market and as such have already starting selling my miners on various auction sites.

Why didn't the Gulden developers approach the mining community to have dedicated hash and we could of supported the project in our own way. On the exchanges and withholding earnings from the exchanges?

Nocks have stop taking direct Gulden payment for merchants. Merchants have to take Euro only option, I was going to buy more coins if price went under 100 but not anymore. Best dump while you can the coin is dead without merchant option.
You can pay with Gulden but it dumps the Gulden on traders to get Euro to pay the merchant when before merchants would take direct Gulden.
