I'm good with patterns and logic errors, meaning if there's an issue with the script that runs the site I could root around it figuring out ways to break the odds.
43  Economy / Services / Re: [Hiring] Editors / Journalists & Communication / Social Media Experts on: August 13, 2014, 08:41:16 PM
I might be interested. What kind of pay are you talking about compared to how many articles / pages / etc?
44  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin T-Shirts For A Good Cause on: August 13, 2014, 10:30:39 AM
This is common marketing tactics. Cheaper price: more sales: better repuation: more sales in future.

I made the price as good as I could, and then the reputation is only that Im new here.

Interesting. I might make a donation, but I think I'll follow this thread and see what other people say first.

It would be really awesome if you could help spread the word too. I'm not necessarily the best at advertising.

Bump much?

How much longer will you let this thread sit?
47  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What cloud mining site do you use and why? on: August 12, 2014, 10:20:56 AM
http://cryptotime.de/

New site quite clear and easy to manage.

The short term contract (24 hours and costs 15 EUR) will return ~0.005 BTC worth about 2.17 EUR

I'm not so good at calculating a full years worth, but their long term prices seem to be about twenty times as expensive as what I currently pay. Good luck to this company, it's really going to need a fan base.

Is bitcoin legal? Of course it is!

But the World Bank considers it to be a 'naturally occurring Ponzi scheme'  Roll Eyes

I know bitcoin is legal, I had no questions about that.

Lol at the trust.  You can't even name the CEO of the company or tell me where they are physically located (not some garbage address in London).  They haven't run because they're still making money by selling overpriced hash to new miners because of comments like above.

I never went with cex.io for that reason exactly. Everywhere I looked I saw no profit in purchasing the GH there, the only way to make profit was via trading. So I went with PBMining just because I can't set up a mining rig at my house.
51  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitcoin T-Shirts For A Good Cause on: August 11, 2014, 07:45:28 PM
I've decided to design and sell T-Shirts on booster.com in order to raise funds for a project in my school. This thread has been posted in both the Marketplace and the Project Development sections.

{The reason}
More people should learn about bitcoin, and so this is my plan to help teach people about bitocin. I will be giving economics classes at my school an incentive to both learn about bitcoin and do better in their classes, I see this as good for every person involved.

{The action}
I am selling T-Shirts that promote bitcoin, but not this project specifically. This is so that you can wear the T-Shirt anywhere and everywhere without having to be tied in with my school. The shirt has a bitcoin logo on the front left side, and on the back a QR code linking to bitcoin.org. Above the QR code reads a short statement - "Bitcoin - An idea worth spending". The point of the shirt is to direct anybody who is interested to the main website, and begin their own adventures with bitcoin.

I plan to divide 0.002 BTC equally to each student and give the teachers control over the bitcoin. I will instruct them to give each student a piece of paper similar to a paper wallet, but without the private key. I will give the teachers some knowledge on bitcoin that they should respectively teach their students in possibly one days class. The students will keep track of their bitcoins worth from USD > BTC, this will teach them about investing.

At the end of the trimester, every class has a final. The students will receive a percentage of bitcoin according to the percentage they received on their economics final. This will give inventive to do well in class. All the remaining bitcoin will be transferred back into a single address that I hold, and will be distributed the same way to the next trimesters classes, so on and so forth. My hope is that after at least two trimesters, the school will fund this on their own accord. And I truthfully believe that they will.

Not only will this project help educate students about economics, but it will also introduce bitcoin to upwards of a thousand people in my school along (directly, and indirectly). As well as my school, you can help educate people by purchasing one of these shirts and wearing it around your community. I would hope to see more people taking action like this, and trying their best to introduce bitcoin to people, especially if it helps them understand even more than bitcoin alone.

Primus - Frizzle Fry

Haha. Primus is awesome. My father got me into it, then I realized they did the South Park theme. I wonder sometimes how I went so long not knowing them.

Yeah, so I set it up and this is what it looks like: http://creeptech.com/

It is shown quite bluntly to be a Ponzi Scheme and so I see no issue in this. What are your opinions?

what kind of papers are in the technology and computer folder? I might be interested.

History on some stuff like databases, robotics,etc, a decent amount of computer crimes (13+), some computer security, some porn ones (lol, seriously though), a bunch on the internet, a few virtual reality papers, and that's just some of the topics.
60  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] 12,000+ Term Papers on: August 10, 2014, 06:08:23 PM
I would probably want a few but not all of these. I would be interested in Law & Government papers though.

Shoot me an offer. I'm thinking 0.001 BTC
