I think it's a cool idea and have been thinking about setting up an opensim myself.
I'm pretty good at LSL <-> PHP gateways in SL and have built tons of scripts for different things like rental boxes, networked vendors, teleport systems and such.
If your sim is running, can you PM me instructions to log in and check it out? I'm using the Phoenix viewer...that works with opensim too I assume?

Psychiatrist: What's your problem?
Patient: I think I'm a chicken.
Psychiatrist: How long has this been going on?
Patient: Ever since I was an egg!

We don't see a lot of black people up here in Northern Canada.
But from my observations I can make several general assumptions: Black people don't like curling nor hockey nor country music and they hate getting their ride stuck in the snow and they totally suck at camouflage.

Yea..was just something I wanted to start before. The company name was going to be 'The Magic Bean'. But there are issues... most countries restrict the importation of plants and seeds....and then you have Monsanto... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH4OwBYDQe8&feature=relatedThe merits of developing a seed bank cannot be fully realized until we have a consensus that the benefits of our continued existence outweighs our immediate instinct to continuously fuck ourselves over.

Way back in the day, seeds were used for commerce. In many respects, they still are.
I would like to start a seedbank where people can donate seeds for credit and purchase seeds using credit, bitcoins, and other payment methods.
How it works:
You send us 100 apple seeds with the instructions to sell them in packs of 10 for 1 BTC each.
We enter your inventory of 10 packs of 10 apple seeds into our inventory management system.
When someone purchases a package of your seeds, you get %credit in bitcoins.
You may use, hold or withdraw your bitcoins at any time.
Since we use bitcoins, our payment processing fees are low.
Since we use regular mail for transport, shipping costs are as low.
Some seeds are extremely valuable and collectable. Various trading opportunities exist.
Some seeds have an expiry date and would have to be removed from inventory occasionally.
I'm just wondering how feasible something like this might be or if anyone would be interested in it.
Could prob set most of it up using some opensource shopping thingo.
Any ideas?

IMHO, I'd give them all back. I deal with people who make mistakes all the time.
BUT... I would ask for 10% tip for returning it....that would be reasonable me thinks.

tien.dat79's profile on a forum called 'Hoc Lap Trinh' which means 'Programming' in English. http://social360.info/thanh-vien/674200His pic is there too! He's pretty active in their Bitcoin forums...over 2600 pages just on bitcoin. I don't know why you won't even consider this is the guy. You keep trying to make some connection to Bruce but I highly doubt BW has the technical aptitude to program mybitcoin. This Vietnamese guy sure does.

Man... I still think you are going on a wild goose chase...
This address is also in that password file:
31479,tien.dat79,tien.dat79@yahoo.com,$1$YvOM9Q00$FuInXK.RW36tX33fKh8pJ0
That is the SAME emaill address of that wildtigon listed as the mybitoin.com owner on the bitcoinfeedback page.
Incidentally, the owner of the feedback site has the IP address of wildtigon. I'll bet the IP address is in Vietnam.

yea... *Coin counting is free when you exchange your coins for a branded gift card or eCertificate. Brand selection varies by location.
†Fee for coin counting when exchanging for cash = 9.8 cents per dollar counted in USA; 11.9 cents per dollar counted in Canada. Fees may vary by location.

You won't see your coins until your bitcoin client has downloaded the entire blockchain.
Right now, the block count is at 143618.
If your bitcoin client shows less blocks than that, then you have to wait... leave your client running untill all the blocks are downloaded.

Teenage inventor, Peter Ash, has designed a way to put his pet hamster to good use - by attaching his hamster's wheel to a generator he is able to charge his cell phone off the grid.
"I thought the wheel could be made to do something useful so I connected a system of gears and a turbine," he said. "Every two minutes Elvis spends on his wheel gives me about thirty minutes talk time on my phone."
His pet hamster, Elvis, does the legwork while Peter charges his phone in an economically and environmentally friendly way. Peter came up with the idea after his sister Sarah complained that Elvis was keeping her awake at night by playing for hours on his exercise wheel.
This is great idea and seems like a doable DIY - if it can work for a cell phone, it could also be used to power other small electronics such as an iPOD, lights, cameras, etc.
Unfortunately, Peter’s teacher didn’t appreciate the ingenuity of his project and he was only given a C grade for his project.

Yea...I like the geocaching thing too. I accidentally found a geocache 2 months ago. I was sitting at my fav spot down by the train tracks having a smoke and I saw this coffee can hiding behind a rock. I opened it up and it was someone's geocache. It had a pencil and a little book you could sign if you found it. In the little book, you could write down your name, what you took from the can, and what you left in the can. I didn't have a lot on me at the time, so I left a pack of tic-tacs in the can. But, I think that leaving a flash drive with some BTC and instructions would be a very cool idea. Posting on the geocache website would defiantly bring a new audience to bitcoins. Leave your email address in case the finder needs help understanding what a bitcoin is or if they need help importing the wallet file. Dam...I might even do this myself! but, I need to get a handheld GPS unit first I guess.

These guys on that forum have been mining bitcoins since 2007.
incredible... they have managed to time travel using brute GPU hashing force! (bitcoin was released in 2009) actually, I just checked the link. Turns out the bitcoin quote is in his forum signature, which gets put on all your old posts as well as new ones. However they do seem to be talking about "BTC" and "money" but its not clear in the translation. Oh yea... his mining rig stats WERE in his sig...didn't notice. It's so hard to make heads or tails of what they are talking about. But I am pretty sure that if someone could read Vietnamese they could find all kinds of info on wildtigon. I didn't loose any money at MBC, so maybe someone with vested interest can look into it further.
