41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A project to help make Ethereum the number one cryptocurrency. on: November 10, 2020, 10:38:06 AM
It's a complete waste of time and energy hoping that a token or coin can help Ethereum when we perfectly understand that Ethereum is the best smart contract out there, what could other project gives to ethereum that ethereum never had? Now that eth 2.0 is coming ethereum will get even better than before, this project can survive without any other project
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dangers awaits ( unofficial listings ) on: November 09, 2020, 10:23:49 AM
I will just prefer to stay away from uniswap, most popular tokens lists on centralized exchanges too, I have kucoin, binance, Okex etc where they lists coins with their right smart contract address, I don't have to worry about if smart contract is correct or not, this shows that centralized exchanges are safer
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dangers awaits ( unofficial listings ) on: November 09, 2020, 10:20:57 AM
but unfortunately there are still a lot of people who are deceived by it all, in my opinion to be safer and avoid the token scammers who have the same name, just waiting when it's on coinmarketcap or coingecko, if you can't wait then ask on telegram
No you are wrong, scammers can even clone any top altcoins that's running on Ethereum smart contract, the token will have same name but different smart contract address, I guess that's why OP said one should get the right smart contract address first
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shill me your altcoin. on: November 09, 2020, 10:17:24 AM
The only altcoin I have in my portfolio right now is Ethereum and Chainlink, I'm more into Bitcoin than altcoin, I believe Chainlink makes sense more than many altcoins, another good one I'm still preparing to get into is Avalanche, these top notch projects comes out once in a blue moon
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tax authority wants all crypto traders data on exchanges on: November 09, 2020, 10:12:59 AM
What the heck is happening? Canada’s tax authority is reportedly asking a federal court to force cryptocurrency exchange Coinsquare to hand over information and certain documents on all of its users since the beginning of 2013...

News source: https://news.bitcoin.com/canada-tax-authority-coinsquare-crypto-exchange-data-all-users/
Honestly I've been waiting for the time that DEX exchanges will take the power from centralized exchanges, maybe this is it? If users data are been shared with the government centralized exchanges will lose lots of customers and finally they will have to embrace DEX, I know volume and liquidity is what DEXs don't have but with this it will happen eventually
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Folgory Exchange Bounty on: November 08, 2020, 10:50:19 AM
Why were you banned from the exchange. What is the reason they block you, while the balance is available in their exchange?
They do not have telegram service, only information is available via twitter and live chat.
https://twitter.com/folgory1

Some shady exchange sites were banning its users without give any notice or reason. forgory was on the same level as coinsbit and p2pb2b which have been banning a bunch of users and stole their money.
It's quite difficult to contact them or it's almost impossible for you to get an answer from the shady exchange site.
This exchange site must be block and boycotted by anyone.
It looks like he didn't know what's the reason for his account was getting banned by folgory. Folgory was fucking scam.
I refuse to accept this, folgory is not even close to p2pb2b and Coinsbit, folgory is a complete scam exchange, how many people are using this folgory exchange? Everyone knows Coinsbit and P2PB2B Exchange but not folgory, why? What does that tell you?stop using less popular trading platforms, they can exit scam any time.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are new to crypto this is for you on: November 08, 2020, 10:43:19 AM
Everybody is desperate for money, most especially those who are in very bad shapes, the possibility of having a settled mind to learn will be low, if you are this type of person I suggest you invest in binance IEO, this is the surest way to double your money but binance launchpads don't occur every month, it takes time
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 07, 2020, 05:12:46 PM
If the project is promising enough it's better to buy at ICO price, this will earn you big profit, DIA did bon curving this year at 0.5$ I guess and after the token start trading it hits 4$ per token, see that insane gain? If you aren't sure then wait for price dump, bitcoin always drag down other coins so you can buy altcoin like NEO, it's very good at sharp recovery
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it over for Binance IEO? on: November 07, 2020, 05:10:17 PM
Binance has been a leading force with respect to initial exchange offering (IEO) evidenced by its extraordinary success in raising funds for crypto startupa via its Launchpad. The likes of Gifto, Bread, BitTorent, Fetch.Ai, Celer Network, Elrond, Perlin, Kava, Injective Protocol have successfully met their funding goals via Binance IEO.

My concern, however, is in the performance of its recent IEOs such as thoseof Injective Protocol(INJ) and Axie Infinity (AXS). In the past, investors are often certain of getting almost ×10 of their capital once the token is launched after IEO but these two tokens hardly did ×2 of their IEO price. Does it mean that the Binance Effect is already waning or has weakened?

AXS was sold at $0.1 at IEO price but only breezed to $0.29 briefly while INJ sold at $0.4 managed to hit $1.49 as its brief ATH. These results are unlike Binance's past IEOs which made investors jostle to get in to the launchpad.

Do you think that it the end of Binance IEO has come or the exchange would rediscover its earlier form?

Let me know your opinion.
Bro you still need to do good research on past IEO projects that took place on binance exchange, there are some projects that brings 2x to 3x on binance exchange since I entered this crypto space and after that some still did 4x to 8x, you can't judge a exchange because of IEO performance, remember that investors are the ones that will sti decide if they want to invest or not
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 07, 2020, 05:07:08 PM
I will choose reputable bounty managers over escrow because I have positive results from them than escrow bounty campaigns on this forum, reputable bounty managers will fight for their bounty hunters, they always make sure bounty hunters get paid, that's because they value their reputations.
51  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: November 06, 2020, 08:17:37 AM
It's not over yet, not until another bear market take over like that of March 2018, presently bitcoin is very very bullish and this can once again hell junk DeFi tokens to surge once more before the almighty crumble that will happen soon, though it's better to invest on top DeFi projects for better result
It's true that Bitcoin Bullrun can have good impact on DeFi projects but I personally believe it won't be on all DeFi projects, many DeFi projects won't go back to their ATH again because DeFi projects are bubble and it's already busted, only very useful DeFi projects will enjoy the bull ride.
52  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: November 06, 2020, 08:15:01 AM
DeFi hype is over and those who are screaming now are the greedy people who refuse to take profit, we've been told that crypto space is full of opportunities but timing is a very vital thing in crypto space, no opportunity stays too long, take your profit when they are still available
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: November 06, 2020, 08:12:41 AM
I personally don't think telegram groups is very necessary for any project.
Because many project telegram groups are active but admin is not active,
And there are more scammers in telegram groups.
You don't know what you are saying, telegram group is where I would rush to if I have any good question to throw on the team or if I am currently facing any challenges using the project platform, why are you saying telegram groups aren't important? Hell no!
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: November 06, 2020, 08:11:22 AM
Hi all , I'm a newbie in bitcointalk but not in Crypto field. I have about 6 Years of experience about this field.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

So far I have analyzed 500+ projects before investment

My analysis Results are here

A)  9%      successful projects with an Active telegram group
B)  6%      unsuccessful projects with an Active telegram group
C)  25%    unsuccessful projects
D)  60%    scam projects

But Now I have decided to invest for a projects having an Active Telegram group , But tell me your openion about these type of projects.
Project name --  Xfinance

Is it belongs to Which one ?[ A or B  Huh?]

How good a project is can't be revealed by the activeness of their telegram groups, this is a wrong way of doing research, do you know that some team will have to hire people (Telegram Admins) to keep the group alive? Yes that's a definition of active team that are busy with development of their project, they don't have time to waste talking to investors on telegram, think again.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Youengine (YOUC) failed on: November 05, 2020, 12:00:24 PM
A shitcoin doesn't deserve to be called a shitcoin until the team give up on the project, there are few cases like in crypto space that shows that a projects that's not abandoned can still bring wonders and surprises, I think Youengine is another perfect example of such projects.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another project down or just too cautious? on: November 05, 2020, 11:52:08 AM
The first red flag I noticed about this project is it's always unsecured, HTTP instead of HTTPS, another one is the domain is very cheap, I checked the domain website out and they offer too cheap domain names, another thing I don't like is even if the website is down the project team have every right to notify every investors through social media channels, I guessing they've already run away too
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 04, 2020, 12:29:45 PM
I don't see any danger lurking behind IEO unless you invest on IEO projects from theses exchanges

1. Exmarket Exchange
2. P2PB2B Exchange
3. Probit Exchange
4. Latoken Exchange

And many other small exchanges that lacks or use fake volumes
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 04, 2020, 12:26:44 PM
ICO and IEO are the best for me, it's just that right now only high quality projects have the nerve to use ICO to raise fund, many investors feels like every ICO projects are scam this days but it's different story from IEO side, they have someone to blame ( Top exchanges ) atleast, the top exchanges are the thing standing between investors and new projects
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous teams on: November 04, 2020, 12:24:34 PM
I don't like team hiding their faces from their investors, how will they gain strong community support if they aren't transparent? There are few good DeFi projects that I saw but because their teams are anonymous I don't have the gut to develop any interest no matter how good their use case is.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: November 04, 2020, 12:22:42 PM
Many projects are born to scam, so do a lot of research from your own ideas before investing in new projects. Having a proper strategy is very important because the first step in using strategy for business is how long you have to be patient to make a profit. Which time will be best to buy and which will be best to sell everything is determined by strategy.
In most cases, people learn much faster from their mistakes. So many of the crypto newcomers will still make the mistakes that have already been written and warned about many times))
Yea people tend to learn only when they make mistakes but then we have many newbies coming into crypto space, the more they keep making mistakes the more scammers are getting their belly full, I just wish the new investors will first learn from others before they blindly invest on new projects.
