41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: December 04, 2020, 08:15:04 AM
It's true, serious teams don't have time for telegram so they hire people to maintain the group for them, how can you choose a project because of good activities on telegram group? Even scam or bad projects can have active telegram group, this is a worst way of doing research on projects
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Making use of a £1000 gaming PC? on: December 04, 2020, 08:13:12 AM
That's roughly 1215$ in USD, you bought the desktop for gaming and you end up noticing that gaming isn't for you, I get that but since you now have interest in mining coins for money why can't you sell the complete system and buy RX480 cards for mining? You will earn up to 8$ per day with 9 RX480 and you can get each cards at 100$ to 180$ on ebay, that's 240$ in a month, with 5 or 6 month you will have recovered the whole money
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO scams vs DeFi scams on: December 03, 2020, 08:02:04 AM
After scammers ruin ICO in 2018 and onecoin and bitconnet became the biggest ICO fraud cases I thought things will atleast adjust for the better, things looked more promising when IEO took over and became more popular thanks to binance and other top exchanges performance but 2020 is very different, DeFi became a thing and once again scammers have the freedom to operate, something very identical to ICO freedom. All in the name of Decentralized and DEX, Uniswap for example, scammers are now roaming free...

1. They find uniswap as better haven to sell clone tokens
2. Even hacks are happening around DeFi projects almost every month now.

why is DeFi platforms more easier to hack? Or are developers the real culprits hacking their platforms themselves? DeFi failure will forever be a stain in crypto history
Why do we have many DeFi projects in a single year that DeFi starts becoming popular? Aren't you curious about that? All new projects want to be DeFi today, I feel like they are rushed projects that's why they are easily hacked, this is my own believe,

Why aren't old DeFi projects hacked? This is why I trust old DeFi projects the most because they aren't rushed, they are around since 2018 before DeFi hype starts this year
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you trust the Code or Human? on: December 03, 2020, 07:56:26 AM
DeFi projects are of different levels, few are very strong and reliable and majority are nonsense projects from inexperienced developers, I believe that we have too many DeFi projects today that's why we keep seeing hacks, when DeFi hype came no one expected such huge success at the time and with weeks many new DeFi projects start coming, they are rushed DeFi projects that's why are they are easily hacked.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it over for Binance IEO? on: December 02, 2020, 09:36:16 AM
Since few months now there have been halt on new IEO projects, non from any top exchanges like binance, gate, Okex, and even huobi, I guess that's why many are thinking it's over for IEO but why I think otherwise is quality projects always takes time to build and launch, we are all waiting for new IEO to make good ROI but we never think about how hard it is to build quality projects, the end of 2020 is here but I'm still sure that good IEO projects are coming
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops are Important on: December 02, 2020, 09:27:36 AM
I also believe that airdrop is important because it's part of the community promotions of a certain project and that method is securely effective to gain community members and recognition in the crypto community. Airdrops have gone so far since my first earning of crypto came from airdrop as well and that's what make a good start to promote a project. Who would thought that UNI airdrop have made huge impact to people who helped uniswap to provides liquidity in the platform and many got much rewards with that airdrop.
Uniswap airdrop is a one in a million opportunity in crypto space because Airdrops are Ninety nine percent time wasting events, you can't boldly join Airdrops for as little as 10$ today unless the project is very good, most Airdrops I joined since 2018 gave me 1$ to 4$ max, i only earned over 150$+ from origin protocol airdrop this year too, another perfect example of one in a million opportunity in airdrop hunts
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I believe I made the right choice on: December 01, 2020, 06:19:53 AM
I ended up selling all my mining rigs to to advantage of this altcoin season, some could say it's a stupid move but I did this because it's the best option right now, the profits I'm making from my miners are not that much anymore, it's more like my setups can't keep up anymore, instead of investing on new miners i decide to buy top altcoins like Ethereum, LTC, XRP, BNB, Chainlink among the rest

If you have some old rigs or about to go obsolete setups I suggest you do the same before altcoins reach a new all time high

altcoin season won't last forever but I can make ROI faster than waiting for months or even years to recover my invested money on miners and electricity

If altcoin season just disappear right now will you go back to mining again? I don't think it's a smart move mate, you should have sold some part of your rigs and leave the rest, everything in crypto space is seasonal, few months ago mining was so profitable that miners are making huge money with Ethereum because of high gas fee
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's next good ICO? on: December 01, 2020, 06:16:25 AM
I know that the thread is old, but once it is in the top, someone else writes in it and probably reads. ICO is now dead, I doubt there were more than 1-2 successful ICOs in 2020. I would recommend to take part in the IEO, for example on Binance, there are also DeFi, but the risks are too high. In any case, never invest in anything because of other people's advice. Your money - your head - your decision - your risks.
Yep, the only successful ICO project this year is Avalanche project and that's because the project is high quality one, the team are professional blockchain experts, Avalanche successfully fundraising doesn't mean that ICO is good option right now, project like this will only come up once in a blue moon, it's better to stick with IEO through binance exchange or okex
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 30, 2020, 08:03:10 AM
IEO is still very much alive but this days things are just silent on IEO side, no new upcoming IEO crowdfunding that's interesting, binance launchpad is empty too right now, ICO is alive too much that's on direct level comparing to IEO because investors feel hesitant to trust ICO due to scammers, it seems like UNISWAP is the easier way for fund raising as I saw few projects using DEX to raise fund, it's called IDO, ( initial dex offering )
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Been cheated again on: November 30, 2020, 07:58:49 AM

SCAM

Bounty hunters got cheated again, actually is this ever going to stop? Do you guys remember OLPORTAL? Bounty hunters are asked to drop ETH address to get tokens and they end up forcing bounty hunters to go and download OLCF wallet and import recovery seed to receive tokens, how did they cheat? Their shit OLCF wallet only accepts Recovery seed only, leaving out those with private keys, you can only import if you are using mycelium or others like it but for those using multi wallet like Coinomi we are out of luck, the team just ignore others like that.
Yes this is a true claim, the team only sent 10,000 tokens to all bounty hunters instead of sending the actual amounts they earned on spreadsheet, right now many are complaining on the telegram group and the team remained silent, some are saying they will send it later and some have already give up, the worth of all the 10,000 tokens is just 8$ at present value, I do hope the team end up keeping their promise
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any holiday airdrop? on: November 30, 2020, 07:53:35 AM
Is there any airdrop before this year ends?

Good way to giveaway some coins to make the everyone happy! lol
Most high quality Airdrops today are for holders, you need to buy quantities of the coin or token and hold, I just participate in DIA which will end in 10 days time and payment will be sent to all holders by early January, there is also another quality airdrop from Avalanche but it has something to do with binance, use this link to check it out, https://airdropbob.com
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop wishing Ethereum dead or overthrown on: November 29, 2020, 07:11:20 AM
Most people just know Ethereum as the second most popular digital currency, that's all, they lack the knowledge of what takes Ethereum to the second best sit since launched, OP you shouldn't take their words very serious because today people still do stupid things in crypto space, FUD, FOMO and  Greed can make people say whatever they can to please themselves.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from the fullest dip on: November 29, 2020, 07:07:04 AM
The crash will teach alot of people a bitter lesson and they will learn from it,
they will learn the following

1. Never to love a coin

2. Never to be greedy

3. To cashout on profit always

4. To stop following hype

5. To know that what goes up must come down etc
There is a catch here and I like it, what goes up must come down, that's a certainty in crypto space and I've come to realize that bear markets always stay around for a longer time, months and years but not bull market, the longest bull market since 2010 stays around for weeks to two and half months, that's it, so I don't know why people grow the confidence of holding their coins while price are pumping.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 28, 2020, 07:54:23 AM
I am a long term supporter  of Ethereum and  know that it is the most trusted network to create smart contracts but the kind of Huge fees for withdrawal and swapping of tokens, we have to nowadays due to slow network or congestion , is going to make it unpopular coin in coming months and other networks like, Binance, EOS, Polka Dot may take its place . The issue with Ethereum is that its developers are trying to scale running Blockchain which is like repairing a car while driving.
Repairing a car while driving? Do you even know how blockchain works? What do you think will happen is Ethereum blockchain get stopped or halt? Things can be fixed in blockchain without stoping the whole running system, and gas fee isn't a genuine reason for Ethereum to go down, for the love of Ethereum many users have gotten used to the congestion and since the next fix update is coming this December there is no point in worrying
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was fooled by Ether Classic on: November 28, 2020, 07:49:19 AM
ETC team released that news then because the felt they have to follow every path that Ethereum is going but I'm actually glad they decide to start taking bold steps themselves, atleast both ETH and ETC have different use case so why follow Ethereum around? And again OP you haven't lose out unless you sold your rigs at a loss price, many cheap graphic cards are available for sell on amazon, newegg and ebay at cheap price, try buying them back
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avalanche can be the Ethereum Killer? on: November 27, 2020, 07:25:18 AM
Honestly we don't need a Ethereum killer but a project that will be as good as Ethereum, thousands of new crypto projects have been launched since 2018 and only very little climb up to top 20 on coinmarketcap and that's pretty bad, we need more new projects to be successful just like old crypto projects.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CPU mining coins with low L3 ussage on: November 27, 2020, 07:20:51 AM
That's RandomX for you, I'm guessing that you CPU are old 2nd gen intel core series? You should try out cryptonight-lite algorithm and cryptonight-heavy, you will need to do research on altcoins that's running on this Algorithm though, I can still remember Loki though
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can't always hit the right target on: November 26, 2020, 09:09:51 AM
As a bounty hunter you need to have a positive mind, this is what will carry you along when failure comes and it's not always smart to promote one or two projects and sleep on it, projects can become successful or failed so you need to keep finding good projects to promote, one project will eventually do very well
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wondering WHAT must have AWAKEN the SLEEPING GIANT - XRP ? on: November 26, 2020, 08:53:13 AM
Not every XRP adopters are investing because of how good the altcoin is, many invest because they want to make more money through Spark token airdrop and once the airdrop is over there will be many dumpers, might not have bad effect on XRP though because it has very high liquidity and volumes
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins are complete shitcoins this time around on: November 25, 2020, 08:19:44 AM
People still buys shitcoins wether you like it or not, if no one is buying shitcoins who are those investing on all those fake and bad DeFi projects? There are some useless projects through twitter, they have no websites and still people are investing on them, shitcoins can still bring something if you have them in your wallet, it's wiser to invest in top altcoins but shitcoins can still pump
