Their shit OLCF wallet only accepts Recovery seed only, leaving out those with private keys, you can only import if you are using mycelium or others like it but for those using multi wallet like Coinomi we are out of luck, the team just ignore others like that.

That's really risky they are not been cheated. They're been scammed, if you are really do not understand cryptocurrency and how it works you will likely be fall for this scam. Let's just hope this kind of tricks would stop you really need to learn a lot of things so you would not be able to get scammed by this kind of projects.

Welcome to Bounty world Mate as this is normal and not new,Though seems like you still not aware of this.
In each Bounties that you will going to Join ,Expect more than Half of them may end like that or much Worst because Nowadays only very few in bounty area that who's being truthful and you can find it all over the forum that bounty hunter are making accusation about the team,or sometimes the manager.
But good for you that now awareness is coming your way and sooner you will not become a Victim of this scammers.

If that is the case i would not suggest to enter the private keys or even import your private eth wallet to their wallet as this can be highly risky and they can simply end up as failed or scam project which can leave many people at risk of losing their eth and tokens stored in their private eth wallets.

There have been many projects like these appearing and they always make bounty hunters take time and effort to serve their purposes. Luckily they don't have to join members to join their bounty campaign to do KYC
To avoid such projects, before participating in a bounty campaign, you should clearly ask the campaign manager about the token distribution date and the conditions for receiving tokens. Let's be clear from the start and when the project team cheats ,we still have evidence to say.

That's tricky but obviously to deceived bounty hunters. Sorry mate, but it seems they are trying to buy time to avoid payment.

I also known this project and didn't know that they will keep insisting a way like this. That's how bounty works on real life, if unlucky you'll face something like this along the way. The better thing to do is move on and forget this scam project. Try your luck with new ones, some campaigns are really hard to grasp whether they are scam or not even there are lots of progress on their end.

Basically anything with "crypto" is a scam, with few exceptions (most of the real cruypto projects are listed here in this forum and have active community support).

I think the best is to always try to avoid unkown and small cryptocurrency business, until they are really established. Unfortunately, this is the reality we live in: lots of scammers.

AS for bounty hunters, go to small projects if they hire a reputable campaign manager. If they do not even have the money to hire a campaign manager, you are unlikely to get paid imo.

In addition to this claim; i gladly inform everyone that despite importing wallets or submitting details as instructed by the olportal team. THEY STILL REFUSED TO SEND BOUNTY REWARDS, Instead they only allocated 10,000 olcf tokens which was designed to be rewards for using the ime app. What olportal has done is very deceitful,

Note: If for some reason you do not want to import your wallet, the address of which participates in the airdrop or bounty, you can create a new address in iMe and send a message to @olportal_adm to replace it.

Actually importing a wallet is an option (I don't recommend importing your wallet either). I just found out about this iME wallet, but it would be impossible if this platform does not allow creating new wallets. Maybe iMe is their partner or to avoid distribution fees (if it's a custodial wallet).
I think it's just OP problem who can't create a new wallet, some people I see have got tokens.

+1 as long as you still don't receive the payment you can create a wallet I'm mycelium if that was they asked.

By the way mycelium and coinomi is the same wallet that asked passphrase to log in , meaning you can also enter your address from mycelium to coinomi or vice versa. The only problem I saw is if the wallet support that currency or it's not?

It looks like you are new in the bounty hunting. be careful with any projects. You can also follow the legit projects dude. In fact, the problem in the cryptocurrency should be the rules that has already made by the team itself. I just wanna try to remind you about the team has been putting the rules if the team will able to change the rules and that means they can put any rules which have been making the hunters got nothing from their work.

The team should have allowed everyone to change their old wallet address to the new OLCF wallet address, this is a way to avoid not paying all the participants, once again bounty hunters have been used and dumped I hope that those who are insulting bounty hunters are seeing this right now, asking people to drop eth address and now asking them to import their recovery seed into a new wallet?

Yes, that's right, replacing a new wallet is one of the right solutions to avoid losing the assets that we have in the future because if we continue to maintain our old wallet, of course this is very risky because we have entered the private key as they asked for, that's the reason do I very rarely participate in bounty projects that require participants to import seeds and private wallets to receive payments.

I can't say that OP is entirely wrong, although some part are wrong, there was a time where Olportal team allow some to change their wallet address from the old to new one but on a very limited time, I guess OP don't know about this or missed out already, now it's close, this is what olportal team did wrong, they should have just sent out all tokens to acquired addresses, the OLCF is still a ERC20 token, what difference does it make asking people to download the new wallet? They intended to carry out this operation to limit those that will get paid

It's a strategy to avoid paying all participants the promised tokens, some won't be able to import their recovery seed because of security purposes and others can't even import recovery seed because their wallets don't have one, you can only get private keys out of recovery seeded wallets using iancoleman but not recovery seed from private keys, what a shame

Any project that ask you download software that is not open sourced and ask you to transfer your private key is questionable, you should never take their recommendation, remember the big lesson in Cryptocurrency, not your key not your coin you and only those you trusted should only have a copy of your private, don't be misled of the promised new coin, you will end up sorry.

That is part of bounty hunting, I've been into several projects where I spent weeks or sometimes months promoting projects and end up being scammed or unpaid. It's part of the risk. This risk can be reduced if you will review the project, the terms of bounty, and conditions before joining. If you think it is sketchy, and not comfortable with the terms and conditions, don't join.

It is normal in the bounty section. If you want this to stop, then stop joining bounty campaigns with a newbie bounty manager. If you want to continue working in bounty campaigns and sure to receive the amount of token you've expected to receive, you should always join the bounty campaign of a legit campaign manager like Hhampuz. And of course, you should research the project itself if this project will become a success. That's why I don't usually join bounty campaigns it is not sure that they will pay your service advertising them.
