41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is cost-reduction attractive enough for businesses to use blockchain? on: July 05, 2020, 12:58:28 PM
It's very easy to say it but in reality, it's hard for these businesses who already have their process settled, and change possibly everything because they need to incorporate blockchain. It's for the greater good yeah, but these companies can't afford any downtime at all.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Expected price of an airdrop token if it came from a major project? on: July 02, 2020, 07:01:19 AM

Will the price of an airdrop token increase significantly if it's under a big project/company? Or does it really depend on how that new token and its team perform?

I think both, if its a big project or token, then it most likely already has a solid team behind it. But yes, all these factors can really affect how the new token that will be on airdrop perform.

Having that 1:1 is also a good idea to attract new people to go for their new coin, most projects don't do that.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM is now connecting businesses to blockchain? on: July 02, 2020, 06:59:14 AM
I actually think NEM is one of those coins people forgot all about but will some day be worth a lot. This is because it is as I recall a Japanese backed coin, so they will not give it up any time soon. Once the network of businesses really decide it is worth it some day, it will probably rise on a small FOMO scale.

But I do not mean just partnerships and tech use. I mean actual NEM token use. Problem with all these tokens are like Ripple effect. 100s of partnerships but no one actually using the token:)

I relate to what you just said, I supported a lot of startups during the ICO days with a lof these "big partnerships" but never really failed to execute. NEM is entirely different.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new ICOs? on: May 31, 2020, 03:04:59 AM
Are there still ICO's? The crypto community doesn't trust the ICO industry anymore, especially with how it damaged the market 3 or 4 years ago.  I haven't heard about the project that you mentioned but its quite interesting. Blockchain is indeed the future and many big industries are not yet looking at it as a "solution" to their issue.

Existing major enterprise solutions are neither distributed (Hyperledger + Corda) nor have a focus on privacy. There is little to no progress here and these solutions are essentially just glorified databases. An example too is Concordium which has not done an ICO, the technology is real, and the business development is massive, with companies like Nestle, Volve, and Geely lined up.

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying on: May 26, 2020, 04:04:41 AM
What's that new coin? If you've been in the space since 2013, you should already probably know by now how to smell scam projects, are something that you're not sure about. Make sure to always check on their background before investing any big amount. There are platforms that has not done an ICO but has proven that the the technology is real, and the business development is massive. Their is proof of validation if big companies have expressed interest in investing.Like Nestle, Volve, and Geely lined up.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / The next-gen Blockchain infastracture designed for business. Will this work? on: May 17, 2020, 07:04:01 PM
Blockchain has always been recognized because of its stability, trustless system, etc. and it provides assistance on the accounting, quality assurance side, etc. through its smart contracts and the technology itself for the businesses. But how come a lot of businesses are still not utilizing blockchain like how some of the big guns already are - Walmart, Visa, etc.

There's a private and compliant-ready blockchain that offers enterprises a real blockchain, while also using zero-knowledge technology to bring privacy to workflows that involve end-users. Existing major enterprise solutions are neither distributed (Hyperledger + Corda) nor have a focus on privacy. There is little to no progress here and these solutions are essentially just glorified databases.

Will this be enough for small businesses and big corporations to start using blockchain, and not shy away from this technology? If not, what does it take to make it happen?
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Positive Impact & Negative Impact For the cryptocurrency market? on: March 29, 2020, 11:50:21 AM
I don't really think that the virus are giving positive effects in the price, but it really may. Most people stay in doors right now, and that's why BTC and crypto are being searched more than ever.

A lot of people also don't have jobs right now and they're looking for other ways to get income while at home. They can either play it very carefully by HODLING and trading top major coins, there are also bug bounties where you just need to catch an error and you get paid, and the usual airdrop and bounty campaigns but they already had bad reputations because of what happened in the past few years.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Will the use of subsampling help reach incredible TPS speeds and finality? on: March 29, 2020, 11:45:34 AM
I wonder if this is what will help scale blockchain up to the next level. AVA is using two key innovations that make repeated sub-sampling a perfect method to speed up consensus without compromises. One is in the insight that the random sampling + sub-sampling can be applied to consensus in permissionless systems. The second one, is mathematical proof that it works in such systems.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2020 be exactly what we hoped for anymore on: March 29, 2020, 11:42:18 AM
I do hope that this is again the breakout year for Bitcoin, and that the halving will bring huge bounce to the price. And bounties are essentially dead right now, together with airdrop. The reputation of these events are already tarnished over the past few years.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I earn money during coronavirus? Is it possible by crypto coins? on: March 26, 2020, 10:35:45 AM
Several ways actually, you can play it very carefully by HODLING and trading top major coins, there are also bug bounties where you just need to catch an error and you get paid, and the usual airdrop and bounty campaigns but they already had bad reputations because of what happened in the past few years. Once a project fails to raise funds, the efforts of the bounty hunters go to waste. It's good to go for crypto work that 100% pays you.

52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ALTCOINS ARE GOING NOWHERE TILL BTC MOVES... prove me wrong on: October 25, 2019, 09:44:31 AM
When altcoin season?
Which ones to keep/buy?
Asking for a friend...

There's no way for anyone to tell on when alt season will start, but generally, most alts will rise up once BTC goes back to being bullish again. Though there are cases where quality alts are going up due to certain milestones being reached.

As for good projects, I always go for ones that are revolutionary and will aim to improve current systems. Netflix and Twitch are such a hot trend now and are being rivaled by Microsoft making their own streaming platform. Crypto is not letting that opportunity slip away as there's a blockchain streaming app that lets you earn tokens as well. Adoption is key and we need to keep going since we know how crypto can positively disrupt the industry.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Get to know all about the Pieta Ecosystem (100% Bonus Near To End) on: October 13, 2019, 12:19:35 PM

I will be back in a little while to explain why this is a complete scam.
Clue #1
There is no such thing as an X20 algorithm.
That trigerred my scam senses as well, even the 100% bonus is crazy if you ask me.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 13, 2019, 12:13:51 PM

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

These 3 are what I can say are the top reasons as to why people fall into scam projects. Another reason below those 3 is "Influence". Crypto is a space where the price/progress can be driven by pure emotions and sentiments. Forbes and John mcafee endorsed this MLM-like ICO and is now in huge problem as they face court and legal issues. Many people believed in it because of the people promoting it in the front-end. I would not even trust those guys anyways because you can almost get exposure anywhere using money.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ELYNET | South Korean Telecom Giant Blockchain Mobile Network on: October 10, 2019, 07:14:35 AM
Am a little-bit confuse what does your platform capable of doing in terms of communication? A user who has a token can avail of free data or buy data in your  crude app using your token? So in my understanding this app CRUDE is like a buy and sell platform for buying data from different mobile networks?

From my understanding, purchased data from the platform can be shared between ElyNet users together with having the ability to gift and sell it back.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Things Successful ICOs Have in Common. on: October 10, 2019, 07:11:51 AM
One of these is their use of hype. Another is a detailed presentation of the company's roadmap.

Hype no longer works that much now, the community has already learned a lot from what happened during the ICO days where it's easy to build hype because of influencers and rating sites that you can pay to give you the hype needed. What those well-funded projects should do is to focus on marketing their product once it's ready and platform development. They are making system where people can develop for crypto and contribute anything that their skillsets have to help the coin's progress. It's also true that roadmap is important since that's where we can tell if a project has a realistic goal or not.

Regardless of what they have in common, people should be eager to research before investing in. Libra had all the hype in the world but was somehow blocked by governments and it doesn't taste well on investors' mouth.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] apM-Coin |South Korean Wholesale Titan - Payments; Loyalty; 1.5M Customers on: October 08, 2019, 12:43:18 PM
did the app just work in Korea or Dongdaemun? or is there any website that we can purchase using the apM-Coin?
can you share what is the benefit from people outside Korea to use the coins?

The rewards that people will get can be used to buy in the apM app? It's actually a great move by the team, I hope they incorporate a little bit of how crypto is being sent (them having their own public address, etc.) so that we can start introducing crypto to people bits by bits.

The apM coin operates on a blockchain, the apM chain, so there is a definite presence of public addresses. However, the transactions are done in a more user-friendly UX, leaving the addresses in the back-end and presenting users with an easier UI.

And yes, the rewards can be spent via app or inside the malls' shops.

This is solid and good for Korea. Imagine that place being empowered and ran by crypto and the apM coin. That will be massive for adoption if big shopping malls in the US also try to do this, it will explode.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: October 08, 2019, 12:40:13 PM
The easiest ways to get different varieties of coins are through airdrops and bounties. You just have to do certain tasks to help promote their project and from there, you will be rewarded with their coins depending on how much work you did at the end of the campaign. There also are platforms that lets you work for crypto by helping to develop their project, like building dApps or enable business development.

But becareful as most of these airdrops now are scams, if ever they don't reach their target funding, they'll exit out and so as your hard-earned bounty.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴【✅PRIVATE SALE】CRYPTOMARKETADS.COM【OVER 50k USERS NOW✅4 PRODUCTS】 on: October 05, 2019, 12:42:34 PM
Looks like a promising project Wink

Already having a large user base using the platform is already impressive considering that it's only on the private sales.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Harmony. +800% after IEO on: October 05, 2019, 12:40:16 PM
IEO in Binance definitely helped a lot and gave us good exposure to investors. When alts starts to recover, ONE will definitely go above and beyond compared to other coins. They're even doing a crypto reward system for the community to do anything to improve the project, from tweeting an event, writing an article, etc. Harmony ONE is definitely making moves that involves the community to improve the project during this bear market.
